  • Peanut burger is a good source of protein, healthy fat and carbohydrates. Peanut is a sweet healthy snack that can be preserved for up to six months or even more.
    Here are the ingredients for this recipe and measurements:
    1. 2 cups raw peanut (you can also use fried one)
    2. 1 tablespoon salt (I used the salt to soak the peanuts and only added a pinch to the dry ingredients while mixing)
    3. 1tsp vanilla
    4. 2 tablespoon milk
    5. 1 cup flour
    6. 1/2 cup sugar
    7. 1 tspn baking soda
    8. 2 eggs
    9. Vegetable oil

      I just noticed the error in the ingredient list on the video. My apologies. What I always use for peanuts is baking powder and not baking soda.
      Any baking powder should work fine.
      Thanks for the comment.

    Can the baking soda be replaced by baking powder

    • @kitchenvoyagers
      @kitchenvoyagers  Год назад +2

      What I used for this recipe is baking powder. However, you can substitute baking soda with baking powder in a recipe. You will have to double the amount of baking powder when using it in place of baking soda to get the best result. For instance, if the recipe says 1 tsp of baking soda, while substituting, you will have to use 2 tsp of baking powder.

      Ok. I now get it. I was thinking you made a mistake. Then one would have to be careful with the salt added to it because baking soda contains salt as well

      No need to do that. Besides, the peanut peel is very medicinal. Make it a habit to chew your normally fried peanuts with the peel on.

    Why does it turn black after a while?

    • @kitchenvoyagers
      @kitchenvoyagers  Год назад +2

      It is supposed to be light brown. If it is black, it means that you fried them for too long and/or the heat was too high.

      Are you sure it's supposed to be baking soda and not baking powder? These are not the same
