Roman as usual shares fantastic advice. One other point to drive home is instead of buying watches you don't want to build spend history, shop for other brands like Omega and buy these brands on the gray market at steep(er) discounts. Then apply these savings against buying a Rolex you want on the gray market. In essence what you pay over RRP is much smaller then spending tens of thousands of dollars to buy a Rolex at your Rolex museum, I mean AD!
Any advice? I’ve been on the “waitlist” for a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 mm Green for approaching a year now, super frustrating. I don’t have a purchasing history at my local route Rolex boutique however, I do have my A.D.‘s contact information and we’ve had many wonderful long conversations. I feel like I displayed myself as a decent human being. Lol hopefully that’s enough.

Not sure how you can get a Rolex from S.Korea when you need to book an appointment at midnight of the last day of the month to even get your foot in the door. There is no such thing as a relationship with the AD with Rolex Korea unless you are a top client who has been buying from them for ages.
Sometimes I'm considering to sell my BMW M4 (which I fully own) and buy a Skydweller and finance an BMW 435i. It's my affordable grail. What do you think of that?

Keep the car and save for your watch. The price of a new M4 or even 4 series is only going to go up, and the price of a used Rolex is probably going to go down a bit more over the next couple years.
If you’re a good person, but perhaps not the warmest person or not great at making friends with strangers, take along someone who is good at that. Especially if that someone is a wife or girlfriend.
The absolute best way to avoid the notorious waitlist is to make your purchase from Roman and his great family of team members. Get an honest deal with great customer service.
