- DIC Enterprises, was founded in April 1982 in Burbank, California by Andy Heyward, a former story writer at Hanna-Barbera, to translate DIC productions into English. The company produced television animation for both network broadcast and syndication, outsourced its non-creative work overseas, enforced anti-union policies and hired staff on a per-program basis to cut costs. For some in the industry, DIC stood for "Do It Cheap". With directors Bruno Bianchi and Bernard Deyriès, Chalopin and Heyward were able to make DIC an effective but restrained animation company.

@@jamesstutz6907 My pleasure.
You are doing the lord’s work.
The 80s and 90s were a great time to be a kid.
Some of the many Reasons why I’m glad to have grown up in the 80’s these cartoons were amazing ♥️
I was born in 1991 August 15th
I was born in 1980. I can't believe someone still has these shows. Incredible and what a nostalgia trip it was. Thanks!
Me too
me three!
Aside from the blurriness it's quite the trip down memory lane.
Same!
Nov 1980
Who else watched every episode of inspector gadget hoping to see mad's face?
You mean Dr Claw?
@@mkv2718 yes! I don't know why I called him that lol
Dr. Claw was the original inspector gadget. He was "killed" on a mission and Penny built a replacement uncle out of grief.
@@patnoneya4098 was that in an episode?
In the video game it was revealed that one entire side of Dr Claw was a cyborg, including his face. The other half was an old man.
All of these 80s shows had such catchy theme songs.
Yeah it was dope back then, every show got a custom written theme song to go along with their premise.
And they all tell the story of the show..
You can start an episode part way into a series and the opening would explain the world to you..
I miss Inspector Gadget😢
It's crazy that I didn't think I would remember that well but as soon as some. Of these theme songs came on I knew every note! Wow! Thank you! Kinda trippy seeing things you remember so well from 35+ years ago . I was born 9/6/82. So I knew most of these... Heathcliff in particular. After school everyday. I loved the littles and inspector Gadget as well!
Thanks for posting this. DIC was the Hanna Barbara of the 80s
mid and late 80s
Thank you 🙏,1983 ,I was 9 years of age.Thank you for the 80s.
DIC Enterprises was founded April 1982. I was born June 1982. We've grown up together pretty much.
1982 was a good year to be a kid, loved that year.

DiC Entertainment did Inspector Gadget, Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego, Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, Captain N The Game Master, Strawberry Shortcake (the 2003 series), Sailor Moon (the original series), The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action, Liberty’s Kids, Sabrina The Animated Series and Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa
Ohh that means you must be 40 years old by now!!
Congrats on reaching big 40
@@Icarus975
I should literally be a beginner male ballet dancer
Little Clowns of Happy Town was my jam!!! I’ve not even thought about some of these in 30 years and I’m freakin’ out!
I grew up on this and it's definitely a blast from the past! I don't think we have anything like this anymore.
The Little's and KIDD VIDEO was way underrated.... Watched every Saturday Morning in the early 80's. Anybody catch that "fishy joke?" Lol definitely over kid's heads. DIC was rockin' in the 80's.
Keith Emerson's music was a bigger part of a lot of our lives than we give him credit for.
His horror contributions were also pretty sweet for Inferno and The Church.
@@lacuna17 And just ELP... Guy was such an icon!
Was that ELP? 😂🤟💯 Should have guessed.
Pole Position, Kidd vid, Mask and finally WHEEELED WARRIORS!!! Some of the most epic cartoon arrangements ever made. All underrated AF!
Growing up my brother used to go on and on about how much he loved DIC. Over the years not much has changed, he still a big DIC fan.
🤣🤣🤣
LMMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol
Don Adams was the most perfect voice for inspector Gadget.
Hell yeah
And also as the voice of Tennessee Tuxedo!
@@shauny2285 ok
My favorite cartoon company thank you damonte for rhis
Man, I haven't seen no Dennis the Menace episodes in 35 YEARS and I used to love watching that cartoon before walking to the bus stop to catch the county school bus.
Awesome job!!! Been so busy working and dealing with life things. Come to your channel and relax and remember my childhood. Next weekend is a three day holiday and I'll be glued watching the toons. Thank you for your hard work!
Hell yeah
Yes take us back to the cartoon we grew up with I want too feel like a kid again D.I.C logo was always awsome

@@MoneMedia I am doing time stamps again. Take a long time ok?
@@MoneMedia I thought The Littles was a Ruby and Spears Cartoon.
@@tonyarceneaux286 many thanks to you as well my friend.
@@vixensilver180 Thank you for the nice 👍 comment.
Gawd dang! 7 freakin hours of DIC?! You king you!
You must be exhausted after all the DIC.
Pole Position!!! Loved that show as a kid....totally forgot about it. Animation was on point too.
FUN FACTS:
00:00 - Inspector Gadget. In the series, Claw is never seen or ever caught.
1:34:40 - Heatcliff & the Catilac Cats. In the series, Heatcliff & Riff-Raff never is seen in any episode togheter.
Riff Raff is mentioned in a few episodes, but never see each-other.
Give me a like on whoever giggled whenever the word DIC was announced as we were children.
Oh lord!!!!! I had such a crush on Jace & The Wheeled Warriors, LOL. THANK YOU for posting these treasures from my childhood. I MISS when kids' television and films WERE MADE FOR KIDS, hoping to sell toys or Halloween costumes. NOW, adult and "grown-up" jokes, subjects, imagery and plots have CORRUPTED most entertainment for kids. I am so happy that I was born in 1970. The 80s were TOTALLY AWESOME to be a preteen and teenager, to work and hang at THE MALL.
Inspector Gadget, the many famous show of the 80's, 90's, 2000's, 2010's, and 2020's, brought to you by the voice of reason and the late great, Dom Adams!
Thank you! 💜
My childhood! awesome. Thank you.
We used to laugh at dic every time!
I got in trouble when my mom heard me say "Suck a" right at a key moment in the credits!
@@cindydott452 Lol. We used to add our own phrases right before the "dic" too. I mean what were they thinking?
@@bbraskey80 I love how they tried so hard to make us not think it was dick by eventually adding a voiceover to say "deeeek". See? Not dick, deeeeek. lol
Same here
I swear I miss the damn 80's. Damn near EVERYTHING on TV was way better. We were actually allowed to be and TAUGHT to be kids and not targets of BS agendas. Just the intros to the cartoons back then had major energy and told the story by themselves. made you wanna sit back and watch...no matter how corny SOME of them were.....I hated the Get-Along Gang back then...lol
Thank you for this! I was singing along to songs I thought I had forgotten
I used to tape these cartoons on vhs when I was a kid also! Unfortunately I threw all the tapes away when I got older, they would have been a treasure trove 😢
Even commercials are nostalgic.
sick thanks for the video duder.
Glad you liked it!
Yae! Thisss, is what these kids need now, good cartoons that tells stories. Other than that, good family and good food.
thats right
Good food? You making pancakes?

Wow I remember when we where kids running 🏃♂️ home just to see the first day of inspector gadget back in da 80,s wow what awesome memories, thanks 😊 💯👀
I’m so happy I found this! I’m always a big kid so this let’s me feel like like that little kid again.
I could easily watch Inspector Gadget any time, it was one of my favorite shows as a kid and definitely the one I associate the most with DIC. 😊
for real, bringing back memories long forgotten! so nostalgic,.thanks!
I loved D.I.C when I was a kid; such fun cartoons back in the day! ❤
Before I get up. On my break. After work. When I'm in the bathroom hahahaha. This guy is literally in my childhood. I can watch this all day
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks for this and all the other videos. I was born in 78 and this was my childhood.
My pleasure!
Man, I can't get enough DIC. Thanks for the upload.
I remember this production company and I was born in 86!
OMG talk about Nostalgia!! .I forgot all about Kidd Video until that song started playing and "wah la"....I'm a kid again in my granny's living room watching Saturday morning cartoons on the floor model TV!! lol
I'm so late, I had to work a double third shift and then first shift😫😩😵😵 so needless to say, I came home at 5PM and had to cook dinner and jump in the shower. So now I'll turn this on and pass out I'm sure!!😂😉
Anyway Hi Mone!👋👋 and goodnight!😴😴😴
yes, you're going to be knocked out cold. Get some rest.
Technical issues aside in this video (Bruce Sato of Mask frozen onscreen for 5 minutes, Rainbow Brite sound off track), a very cool list of DIC animated series, thanks for combining them in one video. Some real classics.
Wow... This bring back memories...
I just came across this and this reminded me of Saturday morning back home when i was a kid!!!!
It's Sunday morning It's cold outside I'm chilling on the couch with a bowl of cereal watching this!!!!😊
And I'm probably going to take a nap!!! 😂
Thanks for putting this together this brought the memories of me at home waking up early before everyone else and setting-up in front of the TV!!!! 😊
And eventually going back to sleep just to wake up to the smell of mom cooking breakfast!
Those where the good old days! 😊
Thank you my guy!!! Its 9pm and I get up for work at 5 so ima throw my headphones on and enjoy while I sleep:)

That’s the truth!
One of my favorite cartoon companies
3:34:47 It's a shame that the Jayce movie never came to be. I remember reading somewhere, years ago, that one of the key characters was supposed to die (either Audric or Herc) by means of a heroic sacrifice.
The animation of Inspector Gadget (and DIC shows in general) was outstanding. It wasn't flashy, and relied on a muted, earthy color palette, so I think some may have taken it for granted. But things are drawn so smoothly, and there's very little Hanna-Barbera style 'partial' animation where just an arm or a head is moving. Even simple conversations are full of life and nuance. At times it's as good as the early Miyazaki series like Future Boy Conan and Sherlock Hound.
Dude you are my hero
Thank you for another awesome nostalgic weekend toons 🌞🧚🐉📽️🎞️🎥🎭🎬📹
You bet!
Wow, over 7 hrs of greatness.. whew you really put in the work this time lol. I'm gona have this on playing in the background as I'm goofy round the hse today. Inspector Gadget was def in the top 5 of my favorites list. An iv not seen Wheeled Warriors since bk in the 80s so it's really nice surprise.
I dnt remebr the name the program but I used to watch some cartoons hosted by Elvira and that show would have Wheeled Warriors and Robotech along with other shows from time to time. Was an awesome time to be a kid. Feel sorry for these kids nowadays as they're not gettn quality shows with a moral to it. Oh well, at least we have Mone by our side.
Thank you. I use to be scared of that Inspector Gadget song. I would cover my ears. It was Unsolved Mysteries theme to me.
wow forrreal?
I remember being excited to watch cartoons on Saturday morning. I would get up so early in anticipation that most of the channels were off air and the only thing that was on was the 3 stooges. Fond memories of the early and mid 80s.
Oh wow I forgot about heathcliff. I watched this when I was Soo little. It started playing and the song I actually remembered it was pretty weird lol it's funny the things in the back of your memory that surface at an instant from years ago
Same .. heathcliff I remembered every word... I'm 40 now and I'm like where the hell did that just come from lol
All of the cartoons you have uploaded man it’s been like a time machine just taking me back and I thank you so much

The Care Bears episode with the cute baby! I love holding babies :)
You're gonna really love this one then! The end of the episode has like 5 uninterrupted minutes of straight baby holdin' action... Well, not so much action... More like just standing completely still holding a baby, but the end of the episode has that in spades!
