Why this doesn’t have millions of views is crazy..these were truly the good ole days and it gives me a sad feeling to know this will never ever be again..
Your right my friend. we can’t go back to what we had. I am 46 now and I remember these cartoons and commercials so well. It does bring a tear to my eye to remember the people that I have lost and the times I had back then. Every year I lose a little more and more of the memories that I had from that great time. But the feeling I get when I think about the 80s is just as strong as ever. To the former kids of the 80s . never forget what we use to have.
Gotta say that same thing on other channels and spread the word. I understand asking the question here but everyone that reads it is already here so it doesn't do anything to add new viewers. 😋
I agree. Even the commercials are so much more entertaining than today. I'm from '75 so I remember so much. 80's has to be the best decade in my opinion.
I truly do miss watching all these cartoons, doesn't matter if it was during the weekdays or the weekends. They were fantastic and they were all enjoyable to watch back then. Truly is a shame that they don't play them no more and it's a shame that you have to literally stream them or watch them on RUclips now days. Now back in the 80s and early 90s they were jam-packed on television, especially on a Saturday. Back then was the fun times Plus great memories and great times. I guarantee you'll never find cartoons like this today, that's for sure

Yeah, I had that Voltron and it was pretty much all metal. It was heavy and the lions could take a beating! I wish that I still had all of my toys as they were in pretty decent shape when last I saw them. Unfortunately, a guy can't go to college with his toy collection, and once I was gone my mom gave them all away to my younger cousins. I can only hope that they got some kind of joy out of them, but they were millennials so I doubt it!
the crazy part about voltron AND the transformers is they didn't come with instructions hell you had to figure them shits out yourself: play with them😂😂😂😂
I realize I’ve told all my friends about my new obsession of watching your fantastic videos but I haven’t thanked you properly. Thank you for this channel and what you do I love it!!!!!
These are great! Definitely brings back memories especially the ads for me. Now I watch these ads with the mindset these producers and advertisers where probably 20-45 years old or so and must decide what products they think the mid 1980s kids will like. Did they decide on good toys and catchy jingles or completely drop the ball on that? There is often generation gaps we seen with adults as kids and this gives me a whole new perspective as I rewatch these.
The eighties was magical. It was a time where it was simple, peaceful, magical and somewhat nostalgic feeling. In 1984 l was 11 in elementary school and after school l would run to the store and get bacon Cheetos and football bubble gum to get ready to watch the lineup: porky pig, inspector gadget and Voltron. That was the lineup. Omg I remember some these commercials too particularly that McDonald's and toys are us. Awww the eighties was a great decade to be alive as a kid and will never ever be duplicated. The toys, food and yes the commercials. Time's were simple peaceful back then. Thank you posting this just brings me back to childhood memories in Flint Michigan.
I love the weekday lineup we had when I was a kid growing up back in 1985. On WZTV 17, back then Z17 several years before it became FOX 17, had the Jetsons, Voltron, Scooby Doo, and Flintstones in the morning. In the afternoon, it had Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers, and G.I.Joe. On WCAY 30. now MyTV 30, had Inspector Gadget, the anime show Trans-Or-Z, M.A.S.K., and Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. The afternoon lineup was Heathcliff, Superfriends, Challenge of the Gobots, and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. Great time to grow up back then.
You took it back with Fraggle Rock I forgot all about them let's not forget Dungeons & Dragons Rainbow Brite Punky Brewster gargoyles Sailor Moon the puzzle place and so many more❤

Good for Barney standing up to Fred. He was always kind of a jerk, but this episode really showed another side. When the kids in the commercials are possibly grandparents.

Good thing both Heathcliff and Inspector Gadget were moving to Nickelodeon in the late 80s after being syndicated. I miss both of them when airing on Nickelodeon way back when.
"The Meowsic Goes Round & Round" is absent from the Heathcliff boxset. I knew something was off when I looked closely at the title of that episode, then ran to my collection for proof. Very interesting! Now I need to check and see what other episodes were cut from the set. Oh, and I was lmao at the Flintstones episode. Yep, 3rd grade - I'd run home after school to catch _Voltron_ at 4pm. It was the only thing that mattered.
Is it weird that i'm 34 and still watching cartoons during my wake and bake? tbf it starts the day off nice happy and relaxed 😁😁
I had a Voltron toy that was metal when I was a kid and it was my favorite toy.
