Sure like the rim tire combo look on the truck, great build.
Thank you sir! 🍻
Cool build
Thank you! 🍻
Do you think a basecamp builders kit with a aftermarket chassis, SOA, and some brass on the front axle would be able to hang with a VRD carbon?
Absolutely! If you wanted to be different and go this route you could make it work! I would add some overdrive portal gears from vanquish and maybe underdrive rear differential gear (if overdrive isn’t enough) and depending on the chassis chosen they would be very comparable. Now if you were starting at ground zero the VRD would be cheaper out of the gate. 🍻🍻
@@the-ab-outdoors I have a VRD carbon, I was wanting something a bit different (straight axles) for my friends or family to drive together. I was also considering doing this with a Phoenix straight axle kit and using a different chassis and body, but that would add up quick lol. I really like the f10 axles
@@keldonator yea the straight axle pheonix rtr would be the best bet, and change the parts as time permits. I’ll end up buying another stance at some point and dropping some straight f10s under it since the basecamp is portal🍻🍻
I think I'm going to order this chassis for my base camp builders kit and print all those parts. Would you recommend high clearance links?
That sounds like a fun build! I would just put the lower high clearance links on, like these: amzn.to/3tODUIx 🍻🍻
