Frame Slop error on laser Engraver

  • I keep getting a “Frame Slop” error

    I found that the RDworks software is the cause. The best way to test this is to first do the realign the X/Y. Next then tap "Origin" then tap "Frame". It'll say either X/Y slop or X slop or Y slop. If it says Y slop now manually move the y to its furthest range then hit "origin" then "frame". If I'm correct the head will frame and outline in reverse. My suspicion is the driver is bad and last file that was transferred inverted the axis and now its stuck in its memory. Get rid of RDworks and get another program. I uploaded a file from lightburn then realigned the head and set origin. Then I hit frame in Lightburn and it framed the image I put in there. That corrected it for me.

    I have an issue like that but with the Y slop over and just do the cut or engraver on X deam! and I dont find how to fix it too

    Thia just happened to my laser. Do you have any other solutions since you posted? Mone is doing the opposite, it will engrave only where it is homed, not the center. Lmk if you fixed yours?
