Honestly, the two Sun and Moon locations you showed aren't nearly as scary as the Ultra Ruins from USUM. If you realize just where you are, the place goes from weird and unsettling to downright disturbing. It appears to be an alternate version of Hau'Oli city in which the Alola Region underwent some kind of apocalypse, likely related to the Power Plant as seen in posters. There are only a few remaining people, all of which must wear hazmat suits to survive, which seems to imply that in this alternate world, the Power Plant was actually nuclear rather than geothermal, and had a meltdown. This resulted in either the appearance of Guzzlord from another world, or they appeared as a form of mutation to some type of Pokémon due to nuclear radiation. Whatever the case, all that's left is a handful of Guzzlord surviving off of whatever remains of civilization, some surviving humans, possibly a few other species of Pokémon, and a world that seems to be in darkness from nuclear winter. At least, that's how I interpret all of the clues.

The old chateau really scared me as a kid back then, especially when played at night. I didn’t even know that rotom exists in the tv! And the purple painting on the wall was also creepy af as it always follow where you’re going. Gengar exists in the said room if you owned fire red/leaf green and migrated pokémon from there. And the disappearing girl from B2W2 was really really sad. She must’ve fallen in the bridge while looking for cresselia or something because she wanted to return the lunar wing back. Also, i didn’t know that there’s a creepy side quest in sun and moon. Maybe i should check it out.
The one from Sun/Moon is not a sidequest, it's part of the main story (one of the island trials), although in the Ultra versions there is a postgame event in there where Accerola makes you repeat the ghost trial again, and when you clear it again you discover that the Accerola that asked this was an illusion

She starts telling you to leave, and if you protest, she starts screaming at you to get out. Then you can fire up the Poké Finder and see that she’s an illusion
1:00 you can see her sitting in the chair during the fade away. Then you get put into her perspective as she floats towards you and phoebe. Then at 1:16 you can see her face beside the player.

Okay so like I just realized this, at 11:50 you see the pictures of the girl and her Pikachus on the wall. Here's my theory: ..A Girl had two Pikachus, one that was actually Mimikyu the whole time and one that was Pikachu. One day the regular Pikachu died, so the girl and Mimikyu had to bury it. However, soon after the girl also died, leaving the Mimikyu all alone. I'm going to guess that the megamart the trial takes place in was special to the Mimikyu somehow, and that the reason it was destroyed was because the death of the Girl angered the guardian pokemon (Tapu Bulu). So now the Mimikyu haunts the place, and doesn't want anyone to come near it. It took the form of Acerola to try and get you to leave.
When I was exploring the strange house I had a heart attack when the girl appeared out of no where. But when I started putting all the pieces of the story together I felt really sad for the poor girl and her family.
Nothing more kid friendly than ghosts, creepy/sad stories, a case of a girl being dead, other outer worldly things. Yep. So kid friendly these games are. 😀

On a serious note, if you’re seriously trying to look for the story line, the little girl is on the right part of Hammerlocke City (if I remember correctly, cuz I don’t have a switch with me at the moment), the upper floor, towards the far right end where there are one or two big white building. You’ll talk to her and she’ll ask you to deliver a letter. Then you’ll find out the story by yourself :) no spoilers.
Giratina’s entry is perhaps one of the most if not THE MOST amazing Legendary cutscene entry ever. I just loved the scene where Giratina first appeared! And the movie starring Giratina is my all time favorite!!

Oh jeez, I remember my younger self always got especially spooked by these segments. Actually, they still scare me a lot, mostly due to how out-of-place they seem in the series. I mean that in a good way, of course. I vividly remember when I was around seven, and I'm not kidding, I spent a solid twenty minutes searching N's room because I thought I'd found some big, spooky secret in the game that might disappear as soon as I left the room. Then I got too terrified to stay in there any longer because of the hecking music of all things. I just adore these slightly darker moments in Pokémon games. After all, they just prove how unpredictable and even unsettling they can be when they want to be.
Thought I was the only one. I mean I'm 18 and some of these moments still make me feel uneasy but that's a good thing. Just a little disturbing, especially the ghost girl segments.
I remember the first time I listened to lavender town... I got a migraine and was scared of the dark and to this day I still get really cool and nervous when I hear those first 4 notes

Honestly, the two Sun and Moon locations you showed aren't nearly as scary as the Ultra Ruins from USUM. If you realize just where you are, the place goes from weird and unsettling to downright disturbing. It appears to be an alternate version of Hau'Oli city in which the Alola Region underwent some kind of apocalypse, likely related to the Power Plant as seen in posters. There are only a few remaining people, all of which must wear hazmat suits to survive, which seems to imply that in this alternate world, the Power Plant was actually nuclear rather than geothermal, and had a meltdown. This resulted in either the appearance of Guzzlord from another world, or they appeared as a form of mutation to some type of Pokémon due to nuclear radiation. Whatever the case, all that's left is a handful of Guzzlord surviving off of whatever remains of civilization, some surviving humans, possibly a few other species of Pokémon, and a world that seems to be in darkness from nuclear winter. At least, that's how I interpret all of the clues.
He also didn't put the whole Lusamine-Nihilego scene, which I feel would have been a good candidate for this video.

The old chateau really scared me as a kid back then, especially when played at night. I didn’t even know that rotom exists in the tv! And the purple painting on the wall was also creepy af as it always follow where you’re going. Gengar exists in the said room if you owned fire red/leaf green and migrated pokémon from there.
And the disappearing girl from B2W2 was really really sad. She must’ve fallen in the bridge while looking for cresselia or something because she wanted to return the lunar wing back.
Also, i didn’t know that there’s a creepy side quest in sun and moon. Maybe i should check it out.
The one from Sun/Moon is not a sidequest, it's part of the main story (one of the island trials), although in the Ultra versions there is a postgame event in there where Accerola makes you repeat the ghost trial again, and when you clear it again you discover that the Accerola that asked this was an illusion
carlos mendoza Oh I don’t remember this girl being a main quest, but USUM has the illusion Acerola during the trial. You make your way to the back of the store, and see her not facing you. She starts telling you to leave, and if you protest, she starts screaming at you to get out. Then you can fire up the Poké Finder and see that she’s an illusion

I never played Black or White 2 but my brother did but he didn't tell me what the girl said. By then, we had forgotten about her being on the bridge. Okay so like I just realized this,
at 11:50 you see the pictures of the girl and her Pikachus on the wall. Here's my theory:
..A Girl had two Pikachus, one that was actually Mimikyu the whole time and one that was Pikachu. One day the regular Pikachu died, so the girl and Mimikyu had to bury it. However, soon after the girl also died, leaving the Mimikyu all alone. I'm going to guess that the megamart the trial takes place in was special to the Mimikyu somehow, and that the reason it was destroyed was because the death of the Girl angered the guardian pokemon (Tapu Bulu). So now the Mimikyu haunts the place, and doesn't want anyone to come near it. It took the form of Acerola to try and get you to leave.

You’ll talk to her and she’ll ask you to deliver a letter. Then you’ll find out the story by yourself :) no spoilers.

The giratina one was the most “in your face” scare I ever experienced and ever since, he’s been my favorite
Oh jeez, I remember my younger self always got especially spooked by these segments. Actually, they still scare me a lot, mostly due to how out-of-place they seem in the series. I mean that in a good way, of course.
I vividly remember when I was around seven, and I'm not kidding, I spent a solid twenty minutes searching N's room because I thought I'd found some big, spooky secret in the game that might disappear as soon as I left the room. Then I got too terrified to stay in there any longer because of the hecking music of all things.
I just adore these slightly darker moments in Pokémon games. After all, they just prove how unpredictable and even unsettling they can be when they want to be.
Thought I was the only one. I mean I'm 18 and some of these moments still make me feel uneasy but that's a good thing. Just a little disturbing, especially the ghost girl segments.
