love ttartisan and I’ve got one on the way, very much did not expect your shirt. Love seeing em out in the wild.

Enjoy the lens!
Thall.
Colour seemed really good, are these SOOC and was this standard Provia film simulation?
These are basic edits in my style.
Which is more profer with the viltrox 33 f.1,4 compared to this ttartisan f.1.8??
Would this be a good first prime lens for basic travel photography while I'm going out with family?
I have the kit zoom 18-55mm lens and it's honestly too big! I barely use my x-t20 because of how bulky and heavy it is.
If you like the normal focal length, absolutely. It will be quite close to the image quality of your kit lens wide open but will give you much nicer background separation.
I personally have had a good time with the 7artisans 35mm f1.2 manual focus lens (on my x-t10). It's significantly smaller than this autofocus lens, and optically not bad if you keep over f2.8. You have to be willing to deal with manual focus, though. 35mm focal length with autofocus is less easy to find cheap and small (fuji's own XC 35mm f2 is the best I can think of).
I would give a try to the 28 mm f2.8.. 40 mm ist maybe better for indoors
try the ttartisans 25mm f2 but that's a pancake lens, manual focus, but works sooooooooooooo good on the xt20. I have the 35mm f2, it's a great lens but I just can't get on with the focul length.
Nice Vildhjarta shirt ❤

The new artwork was too good to pass up. The new tracks are absolute bangers as well. Let's hope it turns into an album!
It would be amazing if this lens could focus in 0.2-0.3m distance! I would buy this for 200$ even with this ghosting effect. According to the sharpness quality and size... I'm starting to think that Tamron 18-300 isn't a bad idea )) Yeah, the aperture... But for cool bokeh I will use manual soviet lenses.
Would you recommend this to a person who only use photography for a hobby?
Absolutely! It's a good budget entry to the world of prime lenses if you want to try one out.
Wish you can update with Apple.
Too many compromises by the looks of it mainly the size and close focus distance. If you already own an XF or XC version there’s not much point to getting it.
The price point is nice, but the lack aperture ring is a bummer. In terms of overall size and weight, how does it compare to the XC 35mm?
Is price point similar to price?
Bigger. Weight is negligable.
Yes!
great lens but im not sure why anyone would buy this over the XC 35mm f2.
