Thats the point, some levels just go overboard with click sync with no regard to playability or whatsoever, thats why most people frown upon extreme demons as a whole due to some notorious slanders toward the gameplay

Apparently there is another fact why robtop wont let us use nong songs
This is because people would use nongs to make custom audio and swearing
Already possible as is. Plenty of whitelisted Newgrounds songs have profanity.
This song is completely fine to rhythm game players community, there's absolutely no problem with it -_-
But I dont think the devs can feel the norms of these songs

solution: use a song that works good for the game and doesnt require very awkward and weird click patterns, i feel like lower bpm songs work best for this game because it makes gameplay less frustrating but to be fair if yk what you’re doing almost anything can work imo, but i see why nong levels dont get rated its not only for the reason showcased but its the fact that not everyone can get the songs so not everybody can enjoy to its full potential, i think thats mostly why personally jus my opinion tho
It's really not a problem with the bpm of the song, its more just inexperienced creators feeling the need to make every beat a click for no reason. At The Speed of Light by Dimrain is a high bpm song and plays in Vivace tempo, but a level like cataclysm or bloodbath rarely relies on beat sync and still "feels" synced to the song. Good use of gravity portals and guiding the player up or down through the level can often feel more synced than mindlessly mashing orbs to the beat of the song. Otherwise I have to agree, song choice that actually fits your level and is easily accessible for the playerbase is equally, if not more important than sync.

good sync doesn't mean adding a click to each beat or note in the song, it means making the movements and flow of the gameplay resemble the song, pure click sync doesn't make good sync ever
Yeah I see what you mean, but when you know a song well , at least in my case I just sync every little bit of the beat to the gameplay. Don’t mean it’s good gameplay, at all
i disagree. ofc dont have a click every time you hear some instrument make a noise, but for the main instrument being played, or if there are lyrics in the song, you can make good complete click sync gameplay to that if you are at least a good gameplay creator

@@ScarIsBad the process of installing nongs is basically the same on pc and android, you just download it, rename it to the song id of the song you are replacing, and put it in your gd songs folder. And gd song file hub isn't a mod, it's a website that has a collection of nongs used in rated and popular unrated levels.
