Unpacking is not the problem. Lack of instructions with the package is.

Nothing happens with mine? I plug it in and nothin! I don’t get it. There’s no instructions that say to do anything besides plug it in….

Do you know if the paddle shifters on the back are actually analog or do they have a clicky feel to them? They look to be analog juging from the way they are spread out. I feel like they'd act as the pedals when you disconnect the pedal assembly, because there were older Playstation 2 racing controllers that did that, namely 3rd party ones and some Thrustmasters. I had the Deluxe version of this wheel once and the paddles were just digital and made clicking noise.

To me they don't really feel clicky at all, so I would assume they are analong. As for pedal functionality, they should work. You may have to use the mappable button feature if they don't work right away, assuming you mean using them as brake and gas pedals. I've heard they work as paddle shifters on other racing games aswell.

Oh I wouldn't be using this on Switch. As a hobby I actually mod these to play real arcade PCBs of driving games. I know the steering has a potentiometer inside as I've seen someone open it up, so I almost am willing to bet the paddles are the same since they don't click.
Probably a hidden feature Hori left in for smaller children or people that can't reach pedals.

How do you scroll down to change to 100 cc etc

You just got to use the dpad. If it isn't working, there is a switch on top that changes the dpad between the functions of LS and RS. To use it to scroll up and down, You'll want to have it on the LS setting. Hope answers your question!
