For better sensations, I suggest the dual vibration PXN V900 wheel instead. You will only have to make a little twist.
SETUP FOR ANALOG PEDALS ON NINTENDO SWITCH - You have to assign pedals to the left stick, here's the trick:
- Hold the wheel’s "PROG" button until the red light flashes quickly.
- Press the right pedal down and the red light will flash slower.
- Quickly press Up on the d-pad.
- Hold the wheel’s "PROG" button until the red light flashes quickly.
- Press the left pedal down and the red light will flash slower.
- Quickly press Down on the d-pad.
From there, racing games for Switch that allows you to assign gas and brake to an analog stick (through the options) like GRID: Autosport or WRC games will perfectly work. After that, you will just have to fine tune the parameters for the wheel's and pedals dead zone and sensitivity in the games settings. You also can set the wheel paddles for shifting gears.

That confused me also. It looks like at 1:57 he's just plugging the wheel into the switch via the port on the back of the dock. (It's just that his dock looks weird, as he seems to have like, grips, or something, on it.)
ummm you cant do that without the dock unless you find a converter or something

I just bought 2 of them. One for each of my kid's to play at the same time on the same tv. I cannot get them to connect 😞 as a single mother, I'm discouraged
try like i did @1:57 by connecting the wheel usbc port to the switch dock, it should work fine.
@@Nintendo_Games I did. Mainly because it seems that's the correct place to put it. But they won't get any power like that. They get power when I put them in the USB ports in the back of my TV. I checked if the USB ports on the switch dock worked.... and both slots work. When I plug them in the back of my TV, some buttons actually control my TV instead of the Switch. Do you think maybe the steering wheel & pedals aren't compatible with that specific Switch model? It's an OLED...
Hopefully you found a solution. It took me entirely too long to get mine to turn on. I have an OLED as well so I have just two ports. The top port didn't work with the wheel, but the bottom port did. It was really weird.
Bonjour , depuis la dernière mise à jour switch 15.0.1 il n'est plus possible de connecter le volant mario kart wheel pro deluxe hori alors que avec l'ancienne version du firmware en 15.0.0 cela marche très bien car j ai pu faire le test avec un ami qui n'a pas fait la mise à jour de sa switch et resté donc 15.0.0.. Ma question est? comment faire pour que cela remarche bien en sachant que les deux consoles switch de mes enfants ont fait mise à jour en 15.0.1 ?

The Hori Mario Kart Racing Wheel isn't compatible with the Switch Lite due to its need for USB docking, external display, and detachable controllers. It is only compatible with regular switch.
