I love these little sandwiches. They are great for any kind of party. Baby swiss is my favorite too Paula. You need you a counter or a table by your convection oven to sit your dish on while you open the doors. I would have dropped it for sure. Take care yall and have a lovely day. Love and best dishes

I had forgotten about these delicious sandwiches!! Back about 6 years ago my nephew’s wife made these and invited us over to eat! Oh my goodness they were absolutely delicious!! After that I started making them. We had these probably about once every other week. Then I kind of forgot about them until now when I saw this video! FYI- Aldi's has a smaller size Hawaiian rolls that are alot less expensive.
Have done this similar recipe for years but omit the mayo and combine softened butter, fresh minced garlic and poppyseeds and spread on the bread then the meat and cheese. Not so sure about the bacon though, adds flavor but toughness to a soft delicate sandwich. I do add a bit of worcestershire sauce to the spread.

I just love your recipes, your way and especially the old time atmosphere of your home, with all the family and friends around. This was how it used to be with all of us around the kitchen with cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents... I hope someday to have a life like this again. This to me is what Heaven must be like. Paula, if you're going to use that oven you need a counter next to it to set the dish on while you open/close the doors (and not a trash can). It could be one of those small rolling carts that they now make for kitchens.

Love these sandwiches! I've made them with ham and cheese, roast beef and turkey , chicken and ham, used several different cheeses. I add dried minced onion to the butter. I made mine a bit bigger and with sough dough, Canadian bacon black forest ham bacon lightly toasted on the outside cut in half with the brown mustard which was on hand it's what I had on hand

I go through really senstive tummy issues. there are times where I can't force my tummy to eat. Then I can eat just getting my tummy to calm down and certain turns of my head to long causes gagging
