Brush olive oil on crust, sliced fresh mozzarella, cooked chopped bacon, brussels sprouts (shaved or leaves torn), and a little goat cheese. Yum! Maybe some red pepper flakes :)
I love having or using any kind of bread or pizza dough. But you can definitely put some barbecue sauce and then whatever cheese you like something kind of sharp like Gouda and then rotisserie chicken cut up and put some on top with some red onions. I’ll tell you what that’s one of the best pizzas ever. If you don’t go traditional
I love to make them for my kids. I always have Naan in the freezer and it's so easy and fast to reheat or use as base for pizza. You can top it with everything from the usual pizza toppings to leftovers. We also love it topped with crème cheese, bacon and scallions. Delicious. Again, a lovely video that made my day better.
I’ve been using these as pizza crust for a few years now. My sons Indian doctor mentioned it as pizza. He usually has chickpeas red onion bell pepper basil marinara mozzarella on his.
I love using naan to make pizzas. I also love them when I brush them heavily with olive oil and finely minced garlic then bake them in the oven. They are fantastic.
Every time my family is lucky enough to gather in one place for a few days I make a few different kinds of pizza. A green pizza with a ricotta mixture is the favorite of the adults but the kids love a traditional red pizza, sauce and cheese only. Your recipe will absolutely be making an appearance at the next function. The only thing I'll change is I'll be mixing the meat with the tomato sauce and daring the kids to eat it. They're still young enough to fall for that. Tricking my niece and nephews into trying new foods we know they'll love is a favorite of my sisters and mine. Thank you so much for this idea. Love and best dishes Paula
The homemade pizzas look so yummy and when cooked in your airfryer saves time and heating up the house. Thank you for sharing the recipe with us Miss Paula. Love and best dishes to you, Eddie and Theresa.
Hi Paula, I use these naan breads all the time!! My family favorite is a buffalo chicken pizza on the naan bread and it's so good! We also make a grilled vegetable one with mozzarella and olives. I will try your recipe it looks so yummy:)
Hi Paula, the garlic Naan bread is our favorite! We love to put pesto on the bread then cover it with mozzarella cheese and slices of tomato and garlic. I have not heard of cooking it in the air fryer. Thank you for the tip! Have a blessed day. Sandie
Good morning! I usually male my own dough and fry it off, but this oh my my! Ms Paula you have just created 5 little monsters! They would love this as an after school snack that they can make. I've got 1 guy who would put avocado, broccoli, scrambled eggs and cheese on it for breakfast! Thank you again ! Enjoy your pizza eddie!
I want to make my pizzas soon. They’re “healthy!” Pizzas are basically lots of veggies with some protein so it’s just a misconception that they’re unhealthy! I bake mine in the oven for 20 minutes and use brown rice tortillas for a super thin crust that’s gluten free...
Naan bread is awesome for pizza dough. I have been using my air fryer to cook these pizzas for several months now. Good choice. I add olives, onions, pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms, red sauce and CHEESE. I never thought of preheating for a crisper crust!!!
Paula, I make a steak lovers pizza in my iron skillet. First you need to brown thinner like round steak. In of using pizza sauce, I mix a little of pizza sauce with A-1 sauce and cover it with mozzarella cheese. It is so delicious for steak lovers, like Michael😁
My grand kids love my cheeseburger pizza. For the sauce I use yellow mustard. Then I sprinkle Parmesan cheese then lay down thinly sliced pickles (I do it on the mandolin) then I put on sautéed onions and cooked ground beef then top with mozzarella cheese. Hope you get a chance to try it. ❤️
I made a pizza from scratch a few months ago. Dough and sauce were from scratch. I roasted the vegetables in my convection for 7 minutes, stirring at the half way mark. The sauce and the toppings were amazing. The home made dough I made from scratch was sub par. I could have purchased a store bought or restaurant bought pizza for a lot less! I am going to try the Naan bread as my base and see how it goes.
Hi Paula, I love you.... and I have loved these Stone fire Naan for several years-they have the best flavor!! Try w/Mezzetti pesto- either tomato or basil and mozzarella, maybe a bit of ricotta, or fresh tomato slices, mozzarella and fresh basil w/ olive oil....I remember my Italian grandma making pizza in a sheet pan over 50 years ago and garlic bread was fresh garlic rubbed on the toasted bread(authentic), but I said "no grandma, you make it with Lawreys spread", that was how my mom(who wasn't Italian made it).....memories
I've never thought of nan bread for pizza but I'll be trying that with sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni & cheese next time I make pizza. Thanks for the tip
Clever idea..we like to add olives & anchovies with salami, ham, mushrooms & red capsicums..sprinkle dried greek oregano on top...cheese goes onto of pizza sauce( which is canned diced tomatoes buzzed up with semi sundried tomatoes
We made these today for lunch and they were great. We topped with fresh mushrooms, onions and green pepper that had been lightly sautéed in olive oil for a couple of minutes. We added pepperoni and fresh mozzarella and used the Rao's pizza sauce.
Hi Paula, I was so happy to find you on RUclips! I'm from Canada, in British Columbia. What a great idea making pizza using Naan bread, its an Indian bread from India and they use it for their curries, especially butter chicken which is so good! How about making butter chicken, some recipes are complicated but there are easier ones! Bye for now Paula and team, love Darlene Schumaker, can't wait for your next video!
We've made pizzas before in the air fryer (Paula's air fryer actually) using fresh pizza dough from a local bakery or the grocery store. Works great! You cut the dough into four equal parts and prepare each pizza in the basket so you don't have to transfer it from your counter to the air fryer. (It's almost impossible to transfer it otherwise.) One dough makes four smaller pizzas perfect size for the air fryer basket. The air fryer makes it so crispy. Best way to do it if you live w/o air conditioning. 👍 We like pepperoni w/fresh basil or goat cheese and honey or fig preserve w/fresh basil too. Yum😋.
I've only just started making homemade pizza. I found a great sauce recipe and a bread flour crust (need to make some homemade Naan). I'm simple with pepperoni, bacon and cheese as my favorite. My mom loves everything on hers so I have pepperoni, onions, peppers, black olives and cheese for her. When it comes out, I brush some melted Land O Lakes Garlic & Herb butter on each. She claimed it's better than anything we order. I don't believe her since I've only done it twice and I know I'm not that good but I'll take the compliment :)
I love watching your shows back in the day it was all about Paula Dean, then got turned on by the media , I love you for being you! Out here in California i miss you cooking shows what station are you on & times thank you, bless you and yours 🥰😅
I love garlic butter with some herbs as my sauce. Then chicken, red onions an mushrooms. An some times fire roasted tomatoes. I love the naan bread also. When ever I find it on clearance I buy it an put in the freezer. I also use the garlic white sauce from ragu.
I made homemade pizza last night and I hate making pizza dough from scratch...The Naan bread is a great idea and definitely going to try this...My all time favourite pizza toppings are bacon, mushrooms and green olives...Pizza is the greatest!🫒🍄🥓🧀🍕
Thanks for this info regarding the Naan bread! Will definitely give this a try when making our next at home pizza. It’s funny as I’ve been craving pizza however had stuff on hand to make your chicken & dumplings which I made tonight & boy does our house smell good. Love you Paula❤️
Omg that looks soooooo delicious! I never tried a pizza on non bread but I gotta try it. I love my pizza with all the fixings, pepperoni, green olives, bell peppers, onions, lots of cheese yum yum!
Absolutely Paula! been using naan for years as pizza dough. so fantastically simple and healthy option over all the other stuff they sell at the supermarket.
My sweet momma used scissors✂️ to cut 🍕, too!!! It works! When my hubby first saw her use them back when we were in high school, he thought she was crazy❣️🤪🤣
Naan means bread so when you say naan bread you saying bread bread. Just for reference. It is a very good idea for pizza crust. I’ve used pita before and it’s really good!
By the way a really good pizza sauce and they sell it at most grocery stores even Walmart. It tastes just like pizza sauce from a restaurant. For just about a dollar maybe a dollar and a half is called DEI FRATELLI Italian style pizza sauce fresh pack promise no GMO‘s. It’s amazing. Try you guys
Wow, I got excited when you took a bite and let us hear the crunchiness of the bread. Love this recipe and our grandkids will love making their own pizzas. Thanks for sharing.
I love making pizza using the naan bread from Aldi. Aldi carries regular and garlic naan. The garlic is the best. I setup a station with everything you might want on a pizza and let everyone come through and make their own pizza. It is such a fun time for the adults and kids. We even include jalapeños. Aldi also has a tub of fresh mozzarella balls in a herb oil that we use for the cheese. It is amazing.
Truly any kind of bread you can use to make pizza. Even tortillas. Flatbread. And you can be creative. Like using barbecue sauce and some rotisserie chicken with some Gouda cheese or provolone cheese or mozzarella. I will go on RUclips for different ideas. But red onions and barbecue sauce and cheese with chicken is amazing.
My friend was on the way over I said can u grab some naan bread at store...I made 2 1 white put cream cheese mixed with 1little bit of milk ..dotted with ranch and pesto ..i always save a little pesto from container to add to soups etc ..chicken and 2 slice microwaved bacon ..plus spinach ..plus cheese blend mix for pizza..so good..other one was cheese tomato and basil with pepperoni I always have in little bundles in freezer..I will nevertheless mess with trying to make pizza dough at home ever !!brushed both crusts with olive oil w herbs before adding toppings
For some of those into cost cutting and sometimes depending on my mood flour tortillas make a good thin crust and if you like thick, French bread works good too.. they both cook up nice and crispy in an airfryer. Tortillas are cheap and a huge loaf of French bread is under $2.. if you went that route you could do a whole meal and some pasta salad (in a box plus some add diced pepperoni and olives if you like) for four to six people under $20 if you know how to shop your other ingredients. Also it doesn't take much longer and if you want to stretch a budget, grate a block of cheese yourself.. it is fresher and tastier.
Paula, any time I have a bit of something left over that would be good on pizza, I saute it off and put it in the freezer. Then on pizza night, which is about twice a month, everything is prepared and it only takes minute to put the pizza's together and bake them. Dinner is done! And pizza night is always paper plates and cups so there is virtually no clean up too! Mom deserves a night off once in a while!
I like fresh mushrooms, black olives, sausage, pepperoni on my pizza with mozzarella and some fresh basil. BTW .... Naan is a much better substitute than store-bought pizza dough! When I order Indian cuisine for delivery, I always get a garlic naan to accompany my meal It is to die for! When the naan is made fresh, (it is soft and chewy like the inside of fresh baked bread). It is large enough that I get two to three servings slices as it is folded in half. The next time I order, I will get 4 or 5 garlic naan extra and freeze them fresh flat. So delicious! 😋☕ Thank you for the great tip as I didn't even think of using naan. I'm spoiled by my grandfather's pizza growing up. but when you put Naan in the toaster oven to reheat, it is quick and easy. Never microwave as it makes the dough tough.
One more thing to try in my air fryer...THANKS! Breakfast pizza is always good...eggs (scrambled, hard boiled, whatever), bacon, spinach, mushrooms, onions and smoked sausage...and of course cheese.
Paula you can make Homemade naan bread by using 1 c Self rison flour,1 c Greek yogart mix Togather, bake as a crust. I add a tsp rosmary/thyme.really tastes wonderful. Cheap and homemade.😉 T
We use different things what we have on hand for crust .. hint the Naan bread is great for a thicker crust and tortillas for crispy thin crust. We use spinach... it adds such great flavor. We also use Naan bread for making Gyro yummy!
Maybe naan bread is like native fry bread. I use Texas toast as a crust or french bread as a thick crust pizza. Love the friendly home lifestyle you have and share! Thank you.
What a great idea! I’ll try Naan bread for my pepperoni and bell pepper pizza next week! Very cool toppings in this video. Maybe I’ll add some black olives too. Thanks, Paula!
I’ve bern eating my homemade pizza all week! Pizza sauce, turkey burger meat (cooked with Italian spices, & garlic & onion powder, mushrooms, bell pepper, mozzarella, black olive, & lots of pineapple bits.
This Easy Homemade Pizza recipe looks so delicious, 😋 Paula. I learned how to make homemade pizzas a very long time ago with just the pizza sauce and cheese on top.
My Mr & I have eaten Keto for over 3 years so I make my own pizza using as much meat, cheese, Rio’s or my home canned sauce without sugar. The crust is made out of canned chicken, egg & mozzarella cheese. Love Naan bread but no carbs for us. Naan bead is everywhere as it’s traditionally served with humus.
I've used hamburger buns or hot dog buns flatten them out with your rolling pin they make delicious pizza I put some garlic butter on the plain bun put it in my toaster oven to get it toasted and then add my veggies in my sauce it is delicious and of course meat pepperoni whatever you like sure is quick and easy
I like BBQ sauce like Papa John's offers as an option. If you want bacon, use the precooked bacon pieces--we keep a big bag in the freezer from Sam's Club. Instead of naan, I've used the soft Greek-style pitas from Walmart because I usually keep some on hand for gyros.
Ms. Paula When you took the pizza out my cat got up in front of the screen smelling it like he could smell the pizza then you took a bite he touched the screen lol. I have made pizza's different ways on regular pizza dough and cresent dough. The yummiest pizza I made was on pizza dough and put Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, cooked chicken short cut grilled strips by Perdue and pineapple chunks.
I’ve never tried Naan but I’m goin to. Looks delish! I would like some avocado & bacon, I think. Lots of cheese & onions. Can’t wait! Thanks Paula & Jamie for tellin you about Naan! Love all of you Deens & Groover’s?
Paula is right. That Naan bread is so easy and delicious. It's crisp on the bottom but still kind of soft. Any topping you like. Maybe a cheese burger pizza with dill pickle.
Hi Paula, I just love watching your videos. You're so much fun to watch! Xo 💕🌹🌺🥰😘 Michael is so sweet. I enjoyed watching him and his daughter. Sweet family. 💙💕🌹🌺🥰😘 your son's and friend are great. 👍👍👍💙💙💙✝️✝️✝️☮️☮️☮️🙏🙏🙏🙏🌷 Take care. 😘😘😘
Naan is an Indian flatbread. Great for pizza I agree. But make sure to get it freshly made at an Indian restaurant sometime. The garlic naan is sooooo good!
I’m going to make this pizza recipe for dinner tonight. I’m going to use Alfredo Sauce, chicken, onions, mushrooms, spinach, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese! Yum!! I get hungry just thinking about it!!
I have been wanting pizza for so long…will make a healthy version because I have several health issues. Will make in my air flyer, it’s hot here in Vegas! Thanks for sharing.
Look for the "nahn" Bread on next grocery run...16 miles to grocery store...and your pizza sauce. Love spinach with white sauce, sweet pepper & onion!!!
I love grilled artichoke hearts, chicken tomatoes, Green bell peppers with Alfredo sauce and sliced red onions and shredded provolone cheese with a little pesto. The Naan bread works great! Just discovered that a couple months ago.
Good video. I have been using this bread for pizza for years. In my opinion this bread is way better than pizza crust. I use olive oil/ garlic on this pizza and put spinach with onions and jalapeños
Oooooh Myyyy Lordy, Pizza is My Favorite Food 😊🍕& You made this look so Delish. I actually just ate out a couple of hours ago at a popular pizza & pasta restaurant near me.. I had eggplant pizza & salad.. But even so, You have Me wanting to make Yours right now in my air fryer. Minus the mushrooms though. I have to get to an Aldi & get that Naan bread. By the way, I only like my pizzas cooked in an air fryer also. Enjoy your videos 😊👍🏻
Thank u Paula!!!! I made this with sausage, onions, peppers, tomatoes, Rao sauce, mozzarella and parmesan, So delicious 😋 and easy! Bravo 👏👏👏 God bless
Wow…. I am doing this for sure! I am living in the hotel for a bit until I get back in my home but I don’t have a kitchen! Just a microwave and mini-fridge and I brought my NutriBullet to the hotel for smoothies but no other appliances! I got your digital air fryer! I also have your pots and pans that work with induction cook top so I am going to order one of the those induction hot plates! Since I am in hotel I don’t want a regular hot plate that actually gets hot itself to a fire if not careful!
What toppings do you like on your pizza?
I'm happy with any topping EXCEPT anchovies. Ewww.
Brush olive oil on crust, sliced fresh mozzarella, cooked chopped bacon, brussels sprouts (shaved or leaves torn), and a little goat cheese. Yum! Maybe some red pepper flakes :)
I love steak, onions, and black olives on my pizza!
Pepperoni, onions, green bell peppers, ham, bacon, and sometimes pineapple

Oh this will be great. I have already added the ingredients to my kroger clicklist. Cant wait to try these. I love pizza. Love and best dishes yall
Loved this idea for a quick meal. I loved all your topping ideas, but one thing I would add is green olives. 😋
I’ve bern eating my homemade pizza all week! Pizza sauce, turkey burger meat (cooked with Italian spices, & garlic & onion powder, mushrooms, bell pepper, mozzarella, black olive, & lots of pineapple bits.
I love using the garlic naan to do this! I put fresh slices of mozzarella on mine and Turkey pepperoni! Delicious!!!
I use Italian sausage that looks like ground beef and mozzarella cheese. All the other toppings you used. Delicious.
My daughter has gut issues and she loves her naan bread! I put butter on it and fry it in a skillet with her turmeric eggs every morning.
Yes agree. Cooking shears are so much easier
Paula, did I ever tell you , You're my FAVORITE ☺️ Pizza is one of my favorite foods. The small pizza is a great idea if you live alone.
Hello pretty
I've used hamburger buns or hot dog buns flatten them out with your rolling pin they make delicious pizza I put some garlic butter on the plain bun put it in my toaster oven to get it toasted and then add my veggies in my sauce it is delicious and of course meat pepperoni whatever you like sure is quick and easy
Dessert pizzas are great too. Cream cheese and pie filling. Sprinkled with powdered sugar after it is done. Maybe a few chopped nuts.
I put Alabama white bbq sauce and pulled pork with any other toppings!
I've got to try the white sauce...sounds great.
If you can get the Dukes brand, it has a strong horseradish taste. Delicious.
Using Nan bread. What a great idea. So easy.
I’ve never tried Naan but I’m goin to. Looks delish! I would like some avocado & bacon, I think. Lots of cheese & onions.
Can’t wait! Thanks Paula & Jamie for tellin you about Naan!
Love all of you Deens & Groover’s?
Naan works great on your grill too!
I’d make one with Alfredo sauce, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Shredded Rotisserie Chicken and Spinach from my garden. Yum!
Alfredo sauce is great with chicken, bacon and pineapple. Hawaiian delight.
Thank you for this great crust idea!
Looks great Paula! I love homemade pizza, I make my own homemade dough.. Thanks for sharing.
Naan is an Indian flatbread. Great for pizza I agree. But make sure to get it freshly made at an Indian restaurant sometime. The garlic naan is sooooo good!
can't wait to try. I love all toppings
We love making these too, we add pineapple, bell peppers, olives, whatever we have in the house. And kids love to make their own
Of course I forgot the sauteed onions and mushrooms with my steak lovers pizza
Looks delicious! We love Huc-A-Poos on Tybee Island. I recommend Pizza on Wheels. So good!!
We love naan pizzas. I like barbecue sauce with pulled pork or chicken, red onions, and Colby Jack cheese. 😋
Look for the "nahn" Bread on next grocery run...16 miles to grocery store...and your pizza sauce. Love spinach with white sauce, sweet pepper & onion!!!
Pineapple on a pizza is a must
I love grilled artichoke hearts, chicken
tomatoes, Green bell peppers with
Alfredo sauce and sliced red onions
and shredded provolone cheese with
a little pesto. The Naan bread works
great! Just discovered that a couple
months ago.
That is a neat idea I plan in making some pizzas using that bread. Awesome.
Good video. I have been using this bread for pizza for years. In my opinion this bread is way better than pizza crust. I use olive oil/ garlic on this pizza and put spinach with onions and jalapeños
Pesto sauce instead of pizza sauce, then mozzarella, diced onion, halved cherry tomatoes, and a few olives.
Italian sausage would also be really good on these. Along with black olives ,mushrooms, pepperoni. I also do a meatlovers version .
Apple pie filling is great on the Naan crust.
I use that very pizza crust…. We love it!
Alfredo sauce with spinach and feta cheese on my pizza.
My favorite pizza is pineapple and pepperoni with extra cheese
