Although my Wife and I have gotten into tiki late in our lives, we have alway been into Cocktails, going back to the Eighties revival, here in the UK, with Films like Tom Cruise Cocktail, and later as part of the 1940s Swing/50s Rcokabilly revival scene. Cocktails just go with the music. In recent years, we have developed an imnterest in tropicval garden desing, and yes, you guessed it, just had to add our very own garden Tiki Bar, to set it off. Not into the takcy stuff that you cvan get from cheap shops, but look for vintage stuff or making our own tiki items. Fortunately, therte is a grerat carver of Tikis here in the UK. Very excited by this project, hope it gets completed.
SOOO excited for this. And already thinking about what drink to mix up for when I finally get to watch this!

@@polynesianpop Norman Merboth. From Oakland California. He and my mom owned bars and restaurants in the bay area of California. They had something to do with Trader Vics in the early years. Good 👍 times.

Hi Bryan! The movie is shooting for a soft premiere this August
Cool trailer. Is this still struggling for funding or something? I wonder why it isn't out yet.
The movie is done. It's hitting the film festival circuit this spring and will be available to the public soon!

It's in post production now but the film needs more funding for the next steps (animation, music, archival footage, color correction, etc). If all goes well, it's projected for a 2023 Q1 release.

Yes and No. The first test screening happened this past Sunday at "Tiki in Waikiki" however, it was a test screening. The final premiere will happen soon after adjustments are made with notes from the test screening.
