Many folks have asked to see a full deomnstration of the Amazing Grace Cross file. This is version 2. After a livestream many folks said they like having the offset background option with the file. So I reworked the design and have now included a offset for the back of the cross and a multilayered base.

I did not catch what the offset was cut out of. Looks like acrylic. Near the end you mentioned cardstock. If cardstock, how did you cut and then you glued it on? Sorry, feel like I missed something.
This was all cut out of the the two peices of 300 x 300 Baltic Birch. The first piece already had the cardstock glued to the board. I cut it out face down.
Very nice project. What do you do about the charring and smell of burned plywood?
Personally, I do nothing. I like it. Some say they get good results using cleaning vinegar.

Very nice, thank you. How do you package and ship these? They are looking pretty fragile.
I would not attempt to ship one of these assembled. You could glue up the base. Glue up the cross and offset. Test fit the two. Then pull it apart and ship it flat with a lot of packing. But it's been my experience, I wouldn't ship something like this if I could help it. The end user could actually break it assembling it.

For those who made the original version with no offset and already glued it, it’s easy to go back and quickly node edit the offset to remove the tabs and make the bottom flat and glue it to the previous version. Works. Great.
