i picked the doogee v20 pro bc of the thermal. tank 2 was my second pick. if the tank 4 comes out with a decent camera set up (64mp main + thermal) i would be hard pressed not to get it. what would seal the deal is a light half the size and one of those "120db" speakers.
If you just build a seperate projector with built in battery that you can detach and attach when you only need to the phone it would be great. You can put a docking system on the projector that you can only dock it on your own brand phone that can also benefit on projectors battery.

bruu I use this phone as my day to day phone xD have a sports over shoulder bag which fits the phone perfectly and bam easy carry and access. I've got soo used to having it, normal phones feel like papper and cheap. guys at my work are having to charge their phones daily whilst I'm doing it once a week. and other day, we had a power cut, ow look I had a torch on hand ^ ^ then I've already been camping with it, just normal camping but having a projector soo small, not as a extra thing to carry is great. honestly best thing i've ever brought. people are just too used to having phones be "how slim can we make it and reduce the weight"

This thing projects movies and stuff, and it's got like a bajillion GB of RAM, which is basically the brainpower of a million squirrels on Red Bull. The only downside is it's about as heavy as a textbook, but who needs textbooks when you can watch dino documentaries on the fly, right?
Brought 1 yesterday, holy crap to be honest I'm thinking why after feeling how heavy this thing is. BUT I'm willing to adsorb this fact due to how long it will last because I travel a LOT through multiple countries/airports and have many blackouts in Vietnam where I live (I'm an Aussie expat). Definitely can't hold it up for too long you will have to rest the bottom on something any more than 10mins. Battery is currently at 88% after charging less than 24hrs ago, but it's had hard use with me setting it up and testing everything and I have it set up for hardcore sexy looking settings/RAM.

ive had the tank 2 for almost a year and a half still a great phone battery lasts 6 days thats with me listening to music through headphones every day at work came from a samsung with terrible battery life ! i love the features the bright lights the laser projector i use often in a dark room to watch youtube just a brilliant unique idea that works !!

While I appreciate the beefy specs and I have a soft spot for all projector phones, the elephant in the room for me is that Moto Mods implemented this more practically nearly a decade ago. I still use my Z2 Force w/ projector mod today and it’s much more pocketable than that. Sure it doesn’t have a 23k battery, but I plug it into a 23k battery and wake up the next day with the projector still running. If you’re looking for a projector phone, you can get it for $200 and it will be ultra pocketable and usable as a phone since the projector is removable with a quick pull.
Ultra Short Throw versions would be awesome as they can give a sharper image as it can reflect closer to walls. Also screen is not interrupted by people walking in front of it.
The projector function is great, I wonder why we haven't seen this function in any other smartphone. It would be great for the Google Pixel, instead of this heat measurement

Great review what an absolute beast. I would love a phone like this - without the projector. The search continues but this is a very very impressive thing. The glaring weakness in all these rugged smartphones is of course the screen - the most fragile part. So to complete the package we would need the tempered glass protector and a tough rugged flipcase. Great video thank you.
I just had a great idea. Use this on a sailboat and project a movie on the sail. Nice warm night.... That would be sweet. Just imagine 50 years ago somebody said that you could hold in your hand an ultrafast computer containing the entirety of the world's knowledge to teach you, give you light, navigate you, protect you, movie you, video game you, and basically connect you with almost any other person on the planet instantly. Very powerful tool. I don't know what I would need it for, but that is an impressive piece of gear. Obviously it's a little too bulky for an average person to daily carry. But I would imagine as we are opening the door to better solid state batteries that it won't be long until we'll be shooting 500 lumen 4K video from a regular sized phone. You could get pretty creative.

I'd rather it be ergonomically shaped to fit in the hand (this still isnt, but closer), and that gives room to add things we used to take for granted like headphone jack and SD card slot. It would be nice if it also had good speakers (im assuming the sound in the video was external speakers?) and USB (not type C) ports to plug in mouse and keyboard without adapters. Definitely tempting, but a wall sized image at 480p, eh...

ZTE made Spro 2 Tablet/phone projector several years ago and I was really interested but nothing came of it. Would love to see Ultra Short Throw projector tablets become a thing. - small mobile projector - portable big screen video conferencing device - because of front facing camera - Android OS is a capable mumtilmedia OS. I have a Philips UL5 small Ultra Short Throw projector and I love its small size and can take it anywhere, but it's not usable while on the go like a mobile device. No way!!!! I am a big fan of the XREAL Glasses and Beam device, and this will be my 'entertainment' device when people visit me. There is no need for a television at this point, I can stream the movies saved to my computer and avoid the TV license scam in the UK. I never watch television, only RUclips and Plex so this will be perfect when friends visit and want to watch a movie at mine. Great phone, crazy battery life, image quality is insane, this is a winner. Thank you for making this video!
Os update is the most overrated thing. Been using Android 11 for last 3 year. never had any problem. Infact update introduces more problems like 1. Slowdown performance 2. Apps not working 3. Not being able to access android folder and more People act like the phone is unusable as soon as update stops and you have to throw away your phone

Im running the tank 3 regular and i love it i will probably one day upgrade to the pro 18 gb ram version at some point but for now im happy with my phone for the time being its been almost a year and i love it
Pretty cool but for me I would find it way too heavy and bulky as an everyday phone plus it’s pretty expensive, I will stick with my Viture xr glasses which plug into any usb c device using the included cable and give you a large virtual screen anywhere you want that only you can see they are also really light which make them perfect for travelling 😁😁

The Tank 3 doesn't have a projector and is over $100 less. This is the Tank 3 Pro, Pro short for projector.

its possibly a thousand dollar phone where im at but with this kinda tech and beautiful projection and features i think its worth it. Will possibly buy this instead of an Iphone.
ZTE made Spro 2 Tablet/phone projector several years ago and I was really interested but nothing came of it.
Would love to see Ultra Short Throw projector tablets become a thing.

I have a Philips UL5 small Ultra Short Throw projector and I love its small size and can take it anywhere, but it's not usable while on the go like a mobile device.
Would love to see a cageeogry of small, mobile projector tablets grow.

No way!!!! I am a big fan of the XREAL Glasses and Beam device, and this will be my 'entertainment' device when people visit me. There is no need for a television at this point, I can stream the movies saved to my computer and avoid the TV license scam in the UK.
I never watch television, only RUclips and Plex so this will be perfect when friends visit and want to watch a movie at mine. Great phone, crazy battery life, image quality is insane, this is a winner.

Os update is the most overrated thing. Been using Android 11 for last 3 year. never had any problem. Infact update introduces more problems like
1. Slowdown performance
2. Apps not working
3. Not being able to access android folder and more
People act like the phone is unusable as soon as update stops and you have to throw away your phone
Maybe use lineage os after the first year,but unsure if the projector will work.
I love these kinds of phones!

Im running the tank 3 regular and i love it i will probably one day upgrade to the pro 18 gb ram version at some point but for now im happy with my phone for the time being its been almost a year and i love it

Pretty cool but for me I would find it way too heavy and bulky as an everyday phone plus it’s pretty expensive, I will stick with my Viture xr glasses which plug into any usb c device using the included cable and give you a large virtual screen anywhere you want that only you can see they are also really light which make them perfect for travelling 😁😁
