The 480P optical system appears to best the 720P non-optical one in every visual category: color, dynamic range, sharpness, and even resolution. And it's that latter one that makes no sense. On paper, all else being equal, 480P should appear noticeably softer. It would be great if someone with technical knowledge of the non-optical MEMS module could explain what's going on. On the flip side, the 480P optical implementation has clearly produced a significantly larger phone that also requires a fan. The fan will be the first thing to break...
I'm never gonna a buy an expensive phone without features that really matters. Ditching my high end phones for a low cost blackview N1000 and now looking at this Tank 3 pro more needed features.
I previouly owned a Tank2, and I can confirm that its laser projector displayed very blurry images, nearly impossible to read. It seems that the Tank3 pro/3s latter models have fortunately switched back to the good old DLP technology, with focus adjustement for a crisp and clear projection👍
any idea about a solution for sleep timer for projector? Like setting the projector to stop after certain time, in case you are going asleep while watching TV...
The Tank 2 has already lasted me over 1 year and I have use it a lot. In regards to life span, a laser projector usually lasts 10,000 hours. Which is many years of usage. Replacement would probably be covered under the warranty I would presume, good question to ask customer services.
@@nickabel8279 Apart from the battery issue it's been ok. Only used the projector once when we had a blackout it came in handy. Have noticed a light reduction in battery time but still has plenty. Too heavy for phone holders etc but still going good.
Thank you for that one sentence 6:40 "...and there's no MANUAL keystone correction". This is information that simply exists NOWHERE on the goddamned internet including RUclips (and it would be all kinds of important for me). On the other hand, BOTH of those phones are "DLP" projectors, which just means you shine a source of light on a bunch of itty-bitty mirrors which swivel to reflect more or less light out the projection lens or away from it. The only difference is the SOURCE of that light - which in the Tank2 is indeed three (red, green, blue) lasers, while just being an LED in the Tank3 Pro. And while this DOES have implications on the need (or not) to focus, it is not supposed to change much else - it just so happens that the laser module in the Tank2 seems to be a rather, uh, "built to cost" one **cough*fellofthebackofatruckonitswaytothelandfillafterfactoryQArejectedit*cough** especially regarding the alignment of the three different light sources (note the red/green fringes around "white" letters), absent on the Tank3 Pro LED projector, which seems to be a decent quality.
It has a fan that will turn on if it gets hot! unlike Tank 2 which has no fan! Logically, it will consume more battery with the fan and the 100 lumens compared to the Tank 2
DLP stands for Digital Light Processing, DLP projectors use a light source to project images onto a screen using a device called a Digital Micro-mirror Device (DMD). The DMD has millions of microscopic mirrors that tilt to reflect light, creating an image. DLP projectors can use a variety of light sources, including lasers, LEDs, or halogen bulbs.
ive been using a tank 2 for 2 years now and the laser project does not look blurred text or has the weird colour effects its always seems clear and detailed with accurate vibrant colour ! wouldnt mind picking up a tank 3 pro to see the difference !!
Tank 2 better battery and smaller phone and lower noise because dosent need fan for coolling projector tank 3 more noisy because of projector fan ɓigger battery consumption because of projector fan and 100 lumens and its a bigger phone

went from a glaxay s23 to a doogee v20pro.
yeah... think im going to stick with these style of phones. less cost and you get more

Dlp king tech pure
could be cool for emulation, bring a few small bluetooth controllers, point landscape to a wall, and play
Thank you for the review. The improvement is apparent. If someone is in the market for a product like this, the choice is clear.
Best projector comparison on RUclips. Thank You, Cheers ! 🍻
any idea about a solution for sleep timer for projector? Like setting the projector to stop after certain time, in case you are going asleep while watching TV...
Great comparison. Love these tank phones🤙
GOOD comparison.......{ or, rather, NO comparison 😅}
thank you geeza.
I just picked up the Tank 3 Pro and really love it.
This guys should get a million subscribers...
Can you put this with any carrier?
No
Great review, the Tank 3 pro picture is pretty nice.
Yes better than I expected.
I'm just wondering the life span of the bulbs and can it be replaced.

@@ChigzTechthat’s a good question, if the bulbs are included in 2 years guarantee
@@ludenfox4327 Yes its a good question, but you need to ask 8849 customer services through their website.
7:50 i thought this had keystone alignment?
Wow great comparison going to get the Pro in 2 days thanks.
how you liking it so far? you finding the projector to be a gimic or actually something you use?

My father is very fond of using the projector phone, I have not found it anywhere, can you help me with this phone.🙏🙏🙏
But which one of the three is brighter tank 2 pro tank 3 pro or tank 3s?
They are all the same from a projector perspective! The differences are in other components, design and other

How much battery consume projector at tank 3? Is phone still silence when projector run?

Laser vs DlP hat's the difference? I think DLP itself is laser projector!

Can anyone tell me how to get the circle, box, and arrow back on the bottom of screen so I can get rid of apps running in back ground on my tank 2pro?
Last clip is of which movie ?
Can we project apps that are not allowed to project like online study apps
Any news on if there's gonna be new model anytime soon
You sure the Tank 2 did not only have 20 Lumens, I remember hearing at list one else saying that?
Tank 2 = 40 Lumens
dose your tank 2 pro charge when your power is off.....
Do these phones work in north America
Good review only thing to correct you on I slapped in a 1.5 tb SanDisk micro SD card it works fine
Nice, good news that it works.
2 GB should be no issue. The same thing has been ongoing saying they only support such and such.
I would be ecstatic just to have an ultra short throw projector that size as well as be mobile.
are these phones works in canada ?
What !? Why would Chigz be lying to us now? he is one of my trusted sources for testing cool stuff!
Exactly, nothing to gain from lying.
Tank 3 pro would be my choice..thanks chigz...😁😁😁👍👍👍
What about the SAR value

There's Tank 2 Pro already
A 720p laser one should be superior outside of the brightness difference. It was just a bad implementation
Thank you so much
Tank 3 pro, at the Moment very expensive 😮
The 5g tank 3 pro ,ore like £800 or suply a link fir that price
Maybe i thing to buy tank 3 pro is better than tank 2 right?🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Buy the tank 3 pro you get 5g on that as well as a ton of storage and almost 4x the charge speed and longer battery
