Imagine if it didn't have a headphone jack.(Too thin....LOL). Interesting concept. I know Unihertz is known for these unusual phones. Even though I've never had a Unihertz, I appreciate their approach to things. A lot of their ideas at least seem like honest attempts to serve a legitimate purpose or cater to a neglected group in the market.
Yeah, I think Unihertz are going in their own direction. While this phone isn't practical as a daily device it is unique and has advantages for a certain customer. I would think of this as a mobile media device that just happens to have a phone feature. 👍
I can hold this phone way more comfortable for long periods of time compared to Doogee V Max which is not comfortable to hold despite weighing 540 grams. Very well designed and comfortable to hold despite being the worlds heaviest phone this 8849 Tank 3 Pro by Unihertz weighing in at a whopping 696 grams.
Tank 3 pro almost have everything thats true. I think this time, they need to work more on the quality of the photos and videos both night and day, and as well as the zoom, waiting for this feature to be present. Better to go to Go pro, and other smart phone like Vivo 100X pro. Still need to wait for other tank to come. Perfect review Sir. New subscriber here...👍
Except it had extremely short battery life that Samsung Galaxy Beam. But it was the first smartphone with a built in projector. Tank 3 on the other hand has the worlds best battery life most likely among smartphones with the 4nm SoC Dimensity 8200 by Mediatek and 23800mAh and an extremely good built in projector. For sure gonna buy Tank 3 Pro as my new daily driver.
i am a trucker with apiring lawyer skills. i need this feature to do power point presentations to audiences, but it can also double down as a larger screen when typing on google docs kind of like laptop without the laptop.
Hi, do you know how to turn on fan without turning on projector? I really love a phone which is have a built in fan like Red Magic 9 phone. So when we playing games, the phone is not too hot. So when I saw this phone also have a fan, I also want to buy it. But, I want to know can the fan turned on when we turn off projector for playing a game? ❤
No, it's streaming what is shown on the phones screen. Tekken was running on the emulator Duck Station. And the video was running on the VLC video player. Of course, RUclips was RUclips. All standard android apps.
... and now for something (almost) completely different: A cell phone that requires it's own duffle bag. 16Gb RAM, low-light vision (not infrared) camera and ability to take photos, record video, play video in 4K👍 Image stabilization could be better🤌 18Gb RAM version is also available. Futureproofing?🤨 PS: Being red in a face may have something to do with Gibley's Imported Vodka😇
I mean low light is tricky, especially with a handheld device. It's just not really a thing. Low light means tripod and long exposure. Anything that's not that, like actual decent camera, is just kinda meh
I love it and I didn't know that they were going to bring another version of the tank 3 out at all. The previous version I suppose was the same but didn't have the projector. That seemed to be going for about $800. This new one with the projector included is going for the same price as all of the Samsung Galaxy flagship phones. I don't know if the inclusion of the projector would justify the gigantic bump in price.
Having a built in projector is cool and all but I don't really see the point when android phones don't offer any video in inputs so you can hook a console up or anything. It's only streaming or local file playback. I would imagine trying to play a modern high end game on the phone while its projecting would cause lag.
These phones aren't all that great, the screen isnt recessed into the case so it is totally exposed. I dropped mine from 2 feet and it landed face down, screen broken now. Battery sometimes doesnt charge. Projector stopped working, shows a strange error message, the tech support is a joke really,
@@mule5267 I'm a bit late but after seeing a total of 20 videos about this phone I ordered it without a second thought about 4 days ago and made sure to buy a case for it . Did your problems begin appearing after you cracked your screen?

Great to hear!

Very good review here. Cudos to you for that.
Much appreciated!
Was that phone gorilla glass 5 or panda glass ?
Probably panda glass. The discription wasn't very clear on that.

Head ph jac, good 60" image, extra 2GB Ram, what a bargain 👁️🏆
It's very similar to samsung galaxy beam which did have build in features for projecting the screens
Someone else mentioned that too. Can't say I've ever heard of the beam. Maybe it didn't get a release in Japan?

Beam 2 have 15 lumen an 360p resolution projector! Tank 3 Pro have 100 lumen and 480P
Hello. Is there a difference between the features of Uniheartz tank 3 pro 16 GB and 18 GB? Or is the difference only 2 GB more? Please reply.
Basically just the storage and memory size from what I know.
@@RetroCore thank you bro
@@RetroCore Now, is there a special water cooling system on the motherboard of this phone?
@@RetroCoreNo the storage is the same for both models. Only the RAM differs among these two things.

I don't know but I'll be reviewing the updated version of this phone in a few days. I'll see if the fan can be switched on while gaming.
Damn this is the every boy's dream with no suspicions
The projector being 480p should be great for emulation.
I think the Samsung Beam phone had a similar projector feature.
It did but sadly a tinny battery.
What is connected into the projector hdmi input?
No, it's streaming what is shown on the phones screen. Tekken was running on the emulator Duck Station. And the video was running on the VLC video player. Of course, RUclips was RUclips. All standard android apps.
Which controller you using
An 8bitDo Bluetooth controller.
Hi bro, is the proyector still working so far, did u notice some overheating issue on this phone?
To be honest, I don't use it all the time but yeah, it was used two weeks or so ago without any issues.
Hello 😊 Battery life good? Enough for 5-6 day's?
Sure, as long as you don't keep using the projector.
More projector demo, can you use this projector in different scenarios. I'm excited what it can do. Just do projector demo will be enough for me.
I should have an updated projector phone coming soon. I'll do a bit more with that.

Nano LCD.

The cost of a good Pico projector is quite high so I can see them selling a few of these as it's essentially a smart projector in the pocket.
@@RetroCore Okay that's interesting because if I'm not mistaken there is a $700 difference between the normal tank 3 and the tank 3 pro.
That can't be right because the pro is under 700 USD or it should be.
@@RetroCore I followed the link to AliExpress from the 8849 site. Not sure.

I'm currently collecting footage for it. This time of year is extremely busy though so I don't get out much.

I think that's not really an issue since Android has emulators for so many systems from the 8bit days to ps2. But yeah, it would be a nice option.
