Yes, I have made these and given as gifts and everyone has loved them. You can personalise them with a different design for each person which is great. I'm sure you'll enjoy making some. Thanks for watching. 🌷
This is a wonderful video! Love the fact that you get right to the point with any extra blah blah. Your instructions are so clear. Question : as the candle burns down, will the image burn down as well?
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed my video. As for the candles, if you buy the nice thick ones like I used in the video, they burn straight down the middle. The sides don't really burn away. The pictures glow when the flame gets low which is really nice. Just don't ever put any pictures on the top of the candle, as they would catch.
I enjoyed your video. May I ask why you say not to use the baking paper more than once? Others say the same but I reuse it all the time and have no problems. And I use both front and back sides. So I'm just trying to understand if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!
Just do what works for you. I find it gets crinkly from the heat which and makes it hard to get a smooth finish. Also can get wax on it that transfers.
Hello, I'm glad you like it. If you mean the paper I wrap around the candles before using the heat gun, it is baking paper, like you use in an oven. I hope that helps.
Hi, I like to make mine with those pillar candles that burn down the center. It means they are usable and the image glows on the outside. The paper doesn't have any odor. Don't add any paper to the top of the candle as it will burn, but you can paint the top if you'd like.
I'm not sure where I'd get those. Currently in lockdown so even more difficult sorry. The process would be the same as in my video working on a glass jar. You can find it on my channel.
Hi, yes you can as long as you don't add any paper to the top. Just stick to the sides. These pillar candles burn down the centre and as the candle burns it gives a nice glow to the picture on the outside. But always of course, burn candles within sight.
Thank you for sharing this awesome technique. ❤

What a lovely idea. Is the paper you used wax paper or parchment paper?

awesome job! is this wax paper or just like parchment paper?
Hi, thank you. Do you mean the paper I roll around the candles? That is baking paper, the sort you can use in the oven.
Thanks 😊
where do you get your beautiful napkins from?
You could try www.napkins.nz ☀️🌺🌸
Are these decorative only are can they still be used? Would the napkin create a bad order when burned?

Can you show us some decoupaged on schollope shells 🐚

Can you burn the candle normally?
