Katherine (Dollightful) and I wanted to do something fun and switch our styles. We made each other's doll concept, and it was so fun to break out of our box and do something new. I hope I was able to give justice to her art, and I hope you guys like it too! :D

I really love how both of you imitated each other's style so perfectly. Over on Dollightful's video, a lot of comments criticized your style, saying that the faceups were flat and many dolls resembling "hookers". However, style doesn't equate to skill. This video definitely shows how skilled you are, and that you shouldn't hate an artist for prefering a certain type of art.
+Kathryn-Rose Grant helloooo! Thank you so much for the support! I saw some of them and thats fine, my style isn't for everyone, and I repaint my dolls for myself haha. It's either you like it or not :) i love cute and natural dolls, but my preferred style would be the "hooker" style from what they said hahah! XD
Oh jeez! I actually haven't seen those comments yet. I think they must only be a couple of people looking for fights--that's usually how it is. Most folks have really loved the style swap! I think we all agree that Hextian has a killer and unique style! :D
And to those people I have just one response “you try to make a doll look that good, I bet yours will end up looking like a steaming pile of crap”

She is adorable! These just make me wanna try doll redesign. Dabbled with it with acrylic paint...didn't get very far though. One thing that I've noticed with Dollightful is that she loves that sewing machine for her doll clothes. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to make something so small. I love your solution to it though, glue gun! lol The dress still came out really cute though. Love the idea of the 3D lashes too.

Here’s a collab idea! A few doll artists are given the same prompt: a short description of a personality. Then, everyone creates a doll based on what they think the woman from the prompt would look like (I’m all for writing one!)! It would be cool to see how everyone interprets the same words!

You guys both did a really really good job on customizing each other's concepts!!! I really really like that you basically switched out your favorite doll to work with (or, well, at least the toy line. that's close enough, haha) and used techniques that you've picked up from watching the other's videos. The little details like that make a world of difference! It's also really neat to see that even though you guys are doing things in the other's style, that you still maintain some aspects of your own art and us it to make both dolls really something totally new and unique looking!
You guys did an excellent job! I'd adore to see more collaborations like this between you too; and between others in the doll customizing community as well!!!
Thank you! I thought the same thing-- although we tried to emulate each other's style, our own styles shone through nonetheless. I think it makes both dolls very unique. I had lots of fun working with Christian! :D

This is beautiful I like how your style showed in the eyeliner which is thicker at the inner top lid and added at the bottom lid, both are dark blue so this adds a tiny bit of age or sophistication. Thanks for sharing, my favorite part is the concept of a girl needing friends and how we are blinded to that need by her appearance. The saying, "There are none so blind as those who will not see." comes to mind. This is a majorly important thing to do less of and more of recognizing when doing the same thing and expecting different results is foolish. Thank you again, all of you!
