Fact: the whole situation involving the curse could've been avoided if they invited maleficent. Christenings were a public event with the royal family and by not inviting her they were basically asking to be cursed. Its really the king and queens fault there.

@sour cream she wasn't neccerily a witch she was a part of the fae. The rest of the fae were invited. Not inviting maleficent was essentially a war declaration. Maleficent gave him a chance to say he made a mistake only to spit in her face and tell her she was not welcome was even worse.

Maleficent was always one of my favourite Disney Villains. I was terrified of her as a child, but I also really loved her design. My love for the colour purple was secured when I saw the design of her robes in the animated movie. I also think that Angelina Jolie did an amazing job in the live-action movie. I love the robes she wore when she crashed the grand celebration of Aurora's birth. But I also loved the leather catsuit she wore towards the end of the movie during the big battle scene.
I just admire Hextian so much. He’s such a great artist and so open about who he is. It’s so cool that he dressed up like Maleficent and went out there. Ugh, I wish I could do that. Anyways he’s just so amazing and more people NEED to recognize his talent! 💜🖤

Maleficent has always been my favorite villain, and the 2014 live action remake gave her more of a character build, and story line of how she became so cruel, and i love that.

I love this!! I'm actually basing my Halloween costume after Maleficent and her daughter Mal from Disney's Descendants. It's a mashup of the 2 of them.
I think the BIGGEST underrated comment of this video is when Hextian started the face.
"Using a lighter colour for when we make mistakes." *When*, as opposed to if. Acknowledging that no matter who you are or where you are, people do make mistakes. Some big, some small. But the point is that we do make them and instead of being ashamed and hiding away from mistakes, we have to accept them and grow from them positively.

I am not a fan of the live action films AT ALL. Nope, nope, nope. The original, animated Maleficent I will always be the one and only, at least for me anyway. Hehe. HOWEVER, this doll version is unbelievably stunning. The horns alone are worth the Academy Award of doll customizing. Love. It.
