Join us as we buy and sell luxury watches in the first week of 2024. Josh kicks off the action serving a customer who needs to make a decision between two Rolex professional watches. One being the GMT-Master II in steel and rose gold nicknamed the Rootbeer and the other commonly referred to as the Panda Daytona. The only watch that he currently owns is a Rolex Submariner 116610LV ‘Hulk’ so we discuss how either the 126711CHNR or the 116500LN could compliment the Submariner in a collection. Before making his decision, the customer reveals that he is also looking for a watch for his girlfriend. The frontrunners are two Datejust 41 models, one is steel and white gold with a mint green dial and the other in steel and rose with a chocolate dial.
A Tudor customer is in the market for the Black Bay 54, a 37mm modern dive watch with vintage proportions. He has a 39mm Black Bay Pro that he would like to part-exchange. Although we have a number of BB Pro models currently in stock, Jon looks to make an offer that will work for the customer.
Hendo is in for a treat as we have a gentleman with a vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. The watch is in great condition considering the age however there are a few anomalies that require further investigation. There majority of the parts that are stamped with 6265 but the caseback shows 6262. The dial looks close to that of a 6240 reference and displays OT SWISS TO at the 6’o’clock position, however the placement of the sigma ‘o’ is in an unusual position. The word ‘Daytona’ is absent.

The green DJ was lovely I also like that for myself but thought the 36mm looked better on her wrist

I think I might as it’s a classic I feel, but the panda is such a nice upgrade. My other option was possibly having green DJ and keeping sub, still spending same sort of money as I would on panda upgrade

@@Lee-pf2uv no 36mm Datejust is a man or a lady Watch . They are unisex . Most if not all so called Mens watches are unisex . Anything less than a 31mm could be classed as a Ladys watch . They are calling unisex watches Lady watch because in their Opinion 36 mm is for Women . Thats untrue and misleading .
