Went into the web site to order the frame bars that you use on your diamond art but can not find where I can talk to someone about a custom made one. Could you please help me.
Thank you so much for this vlog as we spend so much time doing them it is sad to put them in a portfolio under the bed because it is rather expensive to have them custom framed and I would rather use that money to invest into more diamond paintings but this way I can do both thank you once again take care stay safe xxxx
Thank you for your time in putting these videos together. I am now addicted to diamond painting and your my new coach. I've watched your beginner tutorials and now I'm off to the races. Thank you again.
Thanks so much for this. I am working on a large piece (80x90 cm) and had no idea how I was going to display it! This will be perfect. I'm excited now. Thank you!
Loved your Video. I have a question, how do I order a custom size from Ali Express? I need a 36x56. (Following your directions of taking 6cm from top and bottom). I don’t see anywhere on the Ali page to contact seller.
Gosh that looks incredible. But here's the problem I have. I suffer from OCD and anxiety. It would kill me to cut off some of the painting...no joke. I seriously don't think I could do it...lol. But oh my do your paintings look gorgeous. Thank you for showing up this fabulous tutorial!!!
If you have lots of extra drills, you could add glue to the edges of your canvas and do your own border that is the thickness of the stretcher bar, so that it is the part on the edges. You might want to paint under it so the legend doesnt show through, if you use round drills. (I was thinking the same thing.)
I only started diamond painting this year, and I've mostly seen newer videos of yours, so it was surprising to hear a little bit of a southern accent in this video! I've never really noticed in your recent videos, so it must have faded out more over the past few years. Anyway, thanks for sharing this! I'll definitely be trying this on one of my completed canvases. 😀
This was helpful. I am new to diamond painting and have finished 3 pieces already but having trouble figuring out how to frame them. I saw stretcher bars in an art store near me but wasn’t sure how to use them or if they would work. After watching this video I think I will give them a try. So thank you for making this video!
Thanks. I live in the states so aliexpress may not be an option for me but im sure between etsy and michaels ill find something that works. Personally i would prefer if the drills match [as close as possible] the edges with little overhand like 3 of the 4 sides of this pic. So ill probably add/subtract 1cm/ Or 1/4in to my paintings when i get around to framing them.
There are so many different ways to frame these canvases. It's always nice to see how someone else does it. Everyone has their own preferred way. As easy as you made this look, I would still be afraid of messing it up. LOL I think I'll stick to the way I have found for myself - mounting the canvas to a colored mat board and putting it in a ready made frame behind glass. Thank you for sharing your method. I would really like to see if you do other methods as well. BTW, LOVE the cherry blossom canvas on your wall!! Hugs to you, James, and Luna.
Trust me, if I had mat board and frames available here, I'd only do that too! Hehe. I actually bought two paintings specifically to put into frames that I already own... That was before I found this shop.
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I was having trouble thinking of a way to frame them, now I have just ordered a frame kit for my WIP which I should have finished by the time it arrives, and again thanks for sharing! xxx
Great job on this framing technique. This is the way I’m going to go for my diamond paintings. It gives the diamond paintings a professional look when done.
Thanks for the tutorial. I have been wanting to try it but it seemed overwhelming. You have built up my confidence. I think I will give it a try after the corona virus fiasco comes to completion.
That finish looks great. I actually have a frame like that on my desk but its bit too big for the painting. I think I might try to saw off a few inches on two of the frame pieces so I can make it work. Your video was very helpful since its my first time using these.
Thanks so much for this helpful tutorial! I think if I just take my time with it, the process should work for me. I love the finished product! Nighbringer is gorgeous! Thanks again!😊
That Cherry Blossom painting is really pretty. Great framing Rachel. At first I wasn't too sure about it but after you finished it I really liked how it made your painting look. :)
Hi there So my picture is 25x35 and that works out to 19x29. He offers on the website 20x30. Is this too big? Also I cannot find an email or a contact on his website. Do you have one?
also... I am so happy I watched this video, because I bought these type frames for some diamond painting mandalas I made, but had no idea how to do the edges and the corners - so I put them away to sort out another time. Now I can get them done... just need to know what kind of black tape you used around the edges. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this. I have some stretcher bars now know how to use them properly. Do you need to back the frame to keep little insects out of frame once complete please
When you're measuring your stretcher bars, are you measuring the internal measurement or the external measurement? I ask, because it looks like they're each cut at a 45 degree angle so there will be a few centimeter difference between those measurements. This would be really easy for me to recreate with a 1x2, a miter saw and a staple gun.
hello! i have questions... first, how do you do measurements to where you don't have to cut any of the diamonds off??? what do you do about the drills coming out or dust??? do you seal it after??? 🤔🤔
Hiya! So to measure I would check the framer's instructions on the site rather than from my own experience. They will tell you what size to get for your picture so that it wraps around, but if you do that, you will lose a few diamonds because of the folds on the sides. If you just want the picture to lie flat on the front of the frame, just add the frame size to your picture size on all sides. It's been very seldom that I've noticed a drill fall off, it is easy to replace them with a little glue when that happens. I haven't had an issue with dust. And I do not seal most of my DPS, only for video purposes.
Have you done this technique with square drill canvases or only round drills? I am wanting to frame Beach Comber’s Bounty this way but it is square drills. Thank you for your help.
This is absolutely stunning. I came across your channel earlier watching ppl work on these &heard you mention these by name so I dug through your videos &im so happy I found this! Beautiful job & Beautiful framing job! ❤
Thank you so much for sharing o has so much trouble finding the right frame but I want to ask you if the 77x95 would be exact? Please reply back thanks x
Thanks a lot I just finished my 35X35 first canvas and your info was great, but you didn’t mention what kind a tape you are using. Would you plz let us know for newbies like me :)
Hi Rachel, I have a question about framing under glass. Should I use adhesive to the back of the painting and put it on the cardboard that comes with the picture frame? I didn't and just used tape to hold it to the cardboard and I think because of its weight, it's showing a wrinkle that will probably get worse with time. It seems to me then that I should glue it on first and then put it behind glass. By the way, I will definitely be trying these wooden bars you just demonstrated. The DP that I'm currently framing is for one of my grandsons, so it needs more protection!
Can you frame a DP that is not poured glue this way with the stretcher bars? I have one that is the double sided tape adhesive but love the way this framing looks!
I have an odd size Diamond painting approx. 13.75 x 13.5 and cannot find a canvas or frame. They are either way to big or to small. Can you cut off some of the painting to fit?
You mean have the image on top but not wrap around the sides? I think 50x65. But please contact the seller first, they can help and they speak great English.
Hi can you tell me the seller you use for your frames? Also do you have a video how to mount the ones that you can fold the edges? Am new to diamond painting. I just try one from amazon to see if I liked to do it!! And am loving it.. is just so relaxing to me that am really enjoying it. However I don’t know what am going to do with them when there are finished. I can’t keep them all
wow! I was having trouble figuring out how to frame the painting my mom got me for Christmas (She bought it for me to do but for her to keep...) and now I'm leaning towards this method. She wants a wood frame around it though so I would probably have to add an actual wood frame around the stretched frame. Do you know if wood frames would go over the stretched frames?
You'd need a frame made for artwork on canvas, not a picture frame. You'd probably have to take it to a frame shop and have them do you a custom one because it would be an unusual size. Most large craft stores have frame shops and days or coupons where you can get big discounts.
Went into the web site to order the frame bars that you use on your diamond art but can not find where I can talk to someone about a custom made one. Could you please help me.
Try this newer video! I show how to contact them in the video 💜 ruclips.net/video/MzGflW1ZCGw/видео.html
I'm loving that way of framing. I want to do a art wall and that would be perfect way to display my finished paintings. Thank you for sharing Rachel x
Thank you so much for this vlog as we spend so much time doing them it is sad to put them in a portfolio under the bed because it is rather expensive to have them custom framed and I would rather use that money to invest into more diamond paintings but this way I can do both thank you once again take care stay safe xxxx

Excellent video. Thank you. Bucky looks great. Cherry Blossoms is beautiful!!

An interesting option for framing a painting. I don't think I'm ready for this yet, but maybe in the future.
I know right? All that time putting drills on to cut them off. 😱 It looks good on the frame but I couldn"t do it.
If you have lots of extra drills, you could add glue to the edges of your canvas and do your own border that is the thickness of the stretcher bar, so that it is the part on the edges. You might want to paint under it so the legend doesnt show through, if you use round drills. (I was thinking the same thing.)
I thought the same thing. I’d rather add a matching paint of washi to the edge and bend at that point
I'm extremely grateful for your videos. This one in particular resolved so many questions! Thank you!
I only started diamond painting this year, and I've mostly seen newer videos of yours, so it was surprising to hear a little bit of a southern accent in this video! LOVE the stretching look, I’ll finish my canvases this way

I love this way of framing because you don't have to worry about matching frames.
your paintings are awesome Rachel! I'll try this type of framing also. Thank you for sharing!
Great job on this framing technique. This is the way I’m going to go for my diamond paintings. It gives the diamond paintings a professional look when done.
Rachel, would you please provide me the link to order a custom frame size? Would greatly appreciate your assistance.
You can use 100% acetone nail polish remover to remove the legend and any words.
Thanks for the tutorial. I have been wanting to try it but it seemed overwhelming. You have built up my confidence. I think I will give it a try after the corona virus fiasco comes to completion.
Thank you for sharing this. I am definitely going to give this a try when I am finished with my current dp.!!!

This is a lovely way to finish the canvases xx
You are the best!! I need to frame my diamond paintings but it's so expensive and I can't find the right sizes. This helped so much!
This was super interesting thank you! I have concrete walls which struggle to be drilled into but will defo look at this for bigger pieces I will do!
Thanks so much for this video, and for the link to the supplier. Very helpful 👍👍
That Cherry Blossom painting is really pretty. Great framing Rachel. At first I wasn't too sure about it but after you finished it I really liked how it made your painting look. :)
Thanks 😁💜

Oh my gosh thank you so much for demonstrating this, it looks amazing!
Beautiful! I got stretch bar frame size 30x40cm last year ago but not try it yet. Thank for how to.

Welcome!
Will certainly give this a try. Thank you for sharing.

Hi! I’m sorry if I missed you saying it in the video but...what kind of tape did you use to finish the sides please?
Definitely going to do this with my first diamond painting!
This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you 😊
Have you done this technique with square drill canvases or only round drills? I am wanting to frame Beach Comber’s Bounty this way but it is square drills. Thank you for your help.
I've done it with both and had excellent results 🤩
This is beautiful. I'm definitely going to try it.
This is absolutely stunning. I came across your channel earlier watching ppl work on these &heard you mention these by name so I dug through your videos &im so happy I found this! Beautiful job & Beautiful framing job! ❤
Can you seal/varnish the diamond painting before framing or afterwards please?
Thank you for this ! It’s my favorite way to frame so far. Would you mind sharing where you purchased Friends of the Maiden?
It is gorgeous! Thank you for making this!
Thank you so much for sharing o has so much trouble finding the right frame but I want to ask you if the 77x95 would be exact? Please reply back thanks x
That is amazing, I might have to try this way of framing DP's. It is so hard to find frames that fit perfectly.
@RachelRae I know its been awhile but where is the cherry blossom painting from? These look great! Thanks for sharing! 🌸
Found your video!
I am going to try this!
Great idea. Gonna try it. Ty
Looks beautiful
Very original! Great 👍 job!
Fantastic job
Can you frame a DP that is not poured glue this way with the stretcher bars? I have one that is the double sided tape adhesive but love the way this framing looks!
Yes you can! :) I did it with the cherry blossom picture that's behind me in my Flosstube videos. ruclips.net/video/KpUV-gYmjN4/видео.html
Looks beautiful, looks kinda hard, maybe I'll try it sometime in the future.
Where did you get your wood supplies?
Thank you so much!!!! Also, where did you get the "Cherry Blossom" I am in love with it!!
I would definitely try it
What size would I order for a 60x80?
Love your videos! I was wondering what microphone/ camera you use?
Hi! Mostly I just use my phone, Huawei P30
So pretty
Hi, can I double check, do I take 3 cm infrom the actual diamond painting and not from the white bit from the border.
The size of the painting (ie 30x30cm) so you take of 6cm from the first and second number so frame size would be 24x24cm 🙂
Would it be easier to put the frame together first and then mount the painting?
This is how they wrote the instructions. I think if you were to put the frame together first, you'd run the risk of sagging in the painting.
I have an odd size Diamond painting approx. 13.75 x 13.5 and cannot find a canvas or frame. They are either way to big or to small. Can you cut off some of the painting to fit?
What if I have a 50 x 65 but I don’t want it stretched, What size would I get? 50 x 65 or 56x71?
You mean have the image on top but not wrap around the sides? I think 50x65. But please contact the seller first, they can help and they speak great English.
Rachel Rae thank you
Hi can you tell me the seller you use for your frames? Also do you have a video how to mount the ones that you can fold the edges? Am new to diamond painting. Sorry, I don't think they would. These are 3cm deep.

Thank you . I did enjoy
Would this work on the DAC New York Skyline painting?
It works on any diamond painting as long as you get the correct measurements
Do you still frame this way or do you have an updated video for it?
I don't do it often these days but I probably will when we move!
Love this!
