I am new to diamond painting and researching ways to frame the finished works. I love what you did, you really opened my eyes to so many possibilities. I wanted you to know that your video is still inspiring folks years later. Thank you so much!
Just an FYI if you find a frame a little too small for your dp use a glue or 2 sided tape around the edge of the painting and add a couple more rows of beads to edge if you have enough beads left. That turned out so cute!! Good job!! I love the gold leaves around the edge!!
You have to seal yiur oicture if you put it in a cavas, actually any that are not behind glass, as dust will stick to any exposed glue from the picture
Good question. You could buy a frame bigger than your diamond painting that has a matt board with it already and just glue the diamond painting onto the back board and adjust your matt board accordingly or you could just glue the DP to the colored uncut matt and put into the frame. Hope this helps.
You are right. They are expensive and getting more expensive as time goes by, unfortunately. But I have to say, the quality is so much better then anything else I've tried so far. There are many websites out there but be careful about the artwork. A lot of these budget friendly have some artwork that is stolen. I like to save up, use coupons and pick the best ones I like even if its a bit more. If your like me, it will take you a long while finishing one and by that time, you have already saved up for the next. Thanks for the question. Have a great day!
Amazon has frames specifically for Diamond paintings. The problem? The Diamond painting companies don’t have their designs fit properly if you want to use the mat that comes with the frame. The drills don’t come all the way to the edge of the mat, leaving gaps. So you end up having to get custom mats to fit the frame and cover the borders. Or you have to cut off the borders and put the painting in the frame with no mat. That often doesn’t look good. It isn’t the fault of the frame makers. It’s the fault of the diamond painting companies not making sure their design will fit into a standard frame with a mat. It’s frustrating and shame on them.
It is beautiful but I think you are making a big mistake not sealing this art work. I did a huge square drill painting that had 161 square drills and it came out gorgeous. I sealed mine and it came out just fine.
I agree. I made this 2 years ago and have since been sealing all of them. What sealer has been working for you? I have tried different ones and at the moment use varathane polyurethane and then wipe off the tops of the diamonds with a damp cloth.
I am afraid to use it on just simply because on other paper projects it got sticky due to humidity. I think i will try it on one of my small ones and see what happens. Thanks for you help! 🥰

HOw do I attach a cut matt board to my diamond painting?

How do you know what size canvas to get?
I get one that is as close to the diamond painting size as possible (the diamond area size.)
@@CraftyAimsWorkshop thank you
The Diamond Art Club is expensive. Do you have kits that are less expensive for people to buy.

I've gotten a bunch from Temu for less than $5:00
Should have used double sided tape to hold the picture on, they are heavy and will slide down, even in a frame.
Black looks better

I use Mod Podge, works really well. You don’t have to wipe off anything. I like the Mod Podge with glitter in it too. Looks really nice.

Not liking the embellishments at all. Makes it look tacky
Stop the stupid music please.
This video is too blurry to be helpful.
I am sorry it is blurry for you. Check your internet connection. It appears to be clear on my end. Hope this helps.
