I have done several paintings and was looking for the best way to frame them. I like the folding technique rather than cutting. Love the tip about using the paper that comes with the frame. You could even use a patterned tape around the outer edge. Thanks so much for the tips.
I'm just now starting to diamond paint and out of the dozens of tutorial vids I've watched, this is probably the best one yet because it doesn't destroy the canvas.
I frame art the same way. Photos too. Sometimes I use leftover wallpaper for the background. wrapping paper, Christmas paper. possibilities are endless.
Oh my goodness I was so worried about framing it and now this is exactly what I'm going to do thank you very much for sharing this wonderful marvelous idea
Thank you so much! I watched so many videos that called for more spray cans of stuff and some that were harder than I think I could do. Then I found you and your very clear instructions and inexpensive method. Love it.
New subscriber. Thank you, I am just starting my first Diamond painting and was wondering about framing! Off to binge watch your videos on Diamond painting. ❤❤
Thank you. My walls are covered in paint-tape edged diamond painting art that I enjoyed doing. Mostly, I got them just so I could relearn how to get my hands to work after I woke up from a coma. My brother hates the paint tape but he lets me put them up for the month long "cure" process. But I made a few specifically for Xmas this year and I wanted to frame them so all they have to do is hang them up.
Thank you!! I have some acrylic paintings in my mixed media pad, that I’m needing to frame on a budget. I’ve seen several I ALmost went an got the fancy frames and mats! But you have saved my pocket book! Heck I may have enough for eggs! Lol. J/k. Thank you
I have been stressing about framing jigsaw puzzles and Diamond Painting...haven't even done my first painting yet. You are my Hero! Thank you so much! Affordable, lovely presentation!
I haven't yet made a diamond picture. I've had it for several months now. After seeing this tatoral I'm definitely going to get started on it and many more. Thanks to your simple and easy way to frame. I might even find frames at second hand stores and save even more money! Yay! Who doesn't like saving!! Thank you and I'm glad I found your channel. I shared with a dear friend. God's blessings to you and your family.🙏🏻
Thank you so much for this video! I would have never thought of framing my diamond painting this way. I didn't want to spend a lot on framing and your idea is great!
This tutorial was awesome! I just completed my first diamond painting, a gift for my mom and I’ve been watching hours of videos on sealing and framing. I only paid $8 for the kit, but have poured hours of love into it. Now that I finish I’ve spent hours watching videos on sealing and framing, trying to decide how to not lose the sparkle, do I put under glass or not, what size frame do I really need and how do I deal with the border. Your tutorial has just answered several of my questions and relieved my worries! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and tips!
Hi there Mrs. Crochet, I’m new to Diamond Painting and you have been a Godsend! I will definitely try this. I finished my first painting today and my next project is the Mermaid from Staroar. I purchased based on your review of it. Thank you and God Bless.
Welcome to my Channel and The crazy addiction we call 💖Diamond Painting 💎, Congrats on your Finish and Mermaid from staroar is a great choice I know you will enjoy it!
Thank you, thank you! I've done 6 paintings but not framed yet ad I watched lots of framing and how to videos first. ...and yours M y Dear, WINS! Can't get any easier, and just what I needed until I venture further! Stay safe!
can you tape it on the paper before putting it in the frame and maybe you can see if its centered before putting it in the frame? But this is an awesome and cost effective method. I have been diamond painting for years and never thought about this hack!!!!!
OMG, I have been watching about 20 videos on framing and this is the BEST and EASIEST.... (meaning even I could do it). I have 4 complete pictures and I need to start framing. This is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing.. I love your hybiscus picture and it's so sweet that you are giving it to your daughters grandmother. PS. I have been sealing my pics with Mod Podge and I like how yours looks but I couldn't understand the name you said.. something beginning with a P? Please answer if you have time and also do you prefer round or square drills? Thank you for sharing.
Hi, Mrs. Coffee! Would you recommend this method for larger paintings (e.g. 50x60cm) or do you think something idea-adjacent like using a floating frame instead of a traditional frame would work better? This is by far the most economical & time-effective way I've seen to frame smaller pieces. I'm curious how it would be to scale up because of the paintings' weight. Love your content and thank you for posting.
Just found your channel. Your frame was 12x18. How did you measure your finished product to get the correct frame? I love this idea for framing. I have a few that I would love to frame. Thank you so much.
Mrs. Coffee, Great tutorial!! I've framed several paintings, but never thought to fold the canvas back. I will do after watching this. What sealant do you use, if still sealing?
What did you seal it with?...Patricia's? I don't always hear right and closed captioning said Patricia's. Also, where can I get it? The framing is great. Super simple 👌
Yes, you can find it at walmart or on Amazon Patricia's: amzn.to/3KUWkvb Or Miniwax which can also be found at walmart or Amazon Minwax: amzn.to/35u6677 Make sure they say Glossy
That is a great video, it's so helpfull for me cause i didn't know how to frame my PD may i asked you where do you buy your sealer is that a spray or glue don't have a clue and as i spend so many hours to do my DP i would make shure not seen any of my diamond felt down when it's frame, thank you so very much for this Awesome tutorial!
That was a really great idea and explaination! The only helpful thing I can think to add, is to use a large piece of construction paper if you want another color besides white.
I am very new to this and glad I found your channel! So, I am assuming the diamond painting was 30x40 cm...what was the actual frame size, 12x18" or was it larger? Thanks!
That was awesome!! I love this!! However, I didn't catch what you used to seal the diamond painting with....I still haven't decided what the best sealer is for my DPS?
Please add more steps. I have too much time on my hands to have anything be this easy. This was too easy. SERIOUSLY...do you do taxes too? I am so confused....too easy. How woman? How can it be that easy AND look fantastic? Oh...and Walmart commented! Who are you and can I have your autograph?
Omg! There is no way it could be that easy. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself.
I just started diamond painting, and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you SO much!
You just saved me a whole lotta headache! Thank you immensely!🥰
You're very welcome
