🎉such an amazing place. In 2009 and 2010 I was each time surprised by the Food; taste texture art service. No restaurant could compare. He introduced a new art in the traditional French Italian cuisine and not everyone understood or liked it. In Barcelona you can find his kitchen in a few restaurants.

El Bulli was the world's best restaurant that had booking years out. They had to close due to costs getting too high (Often the case with perfectionists who have no business acumen. They prioritise art and perfection without realising the cost. My chef wife wanted to make bleeding chocolate heart puddings with the best ingredients - Until I pointed out that they would cost $8 each for ingredients - that is $24 on a plate). I admire the perfection of these chefs, but they need financial supervision to succeed.

Can someone please explain what's going on here? They're closing for good right, because they keep saying it's not over? Why are they closing? The "foundation" is just a website with recipes? Do they add to this website? Are they paying the people who give their recipes? I mean it was nice to see how they operated and completed what I think is their last day, but I really wish they would've answered these questions. Kind of makes the doc feel unfinished in a way, imo.

Hey! I recognize the person called Massimo from "Chef's Table". He was the one with all those Parmesan dishes that made me only buy Parmigiano since then!
