As to desk space, it is actually the opposite. Cyborg takes less space than the smallest keyboard I've seen. You play with Cyborg and mouse so any tiny desk space is fine.
True, but I'd need someplace to *put* the Cyborg when I'm not playing. Or when I wanted to chat. These don't replace a keyboard, these are used in addition to a keyboard. I'd probably have to build some shelves to lift my speakers up to make room.

As an owner of Cyborg I'd say, it is so customizable that you don't need to worry about the dexterity of your limbs. IMHO, only two things can hold a person back: price and willingness to adopt/relearn.

it takes a bit of time to rebuild muscle memory and find the layout that's perfect for your hands. I play Fortnite on it, and I misclick once in 3 months or less. With a keyboard, I wasn't able to find a consistent layout of buttons for all the Fortnite BR needs.

I'm 48 and have been playing on K&M since the first games on floppy disks. Moved to Cyborg about 6 months ago as I couldn't find reliable keybinds for Fortnite BR. Can't imagine going back. However, if you are feeling smooth on your current setup, probably not worth changing as there is a bit of a learning and building new muscle memory phase.
in the utopian world where people first played on Azeron devices for years, I can't imagine a single person wanting to move to K&M. It would seem like a ridiculous counter-intuitive alternative.
I have a similar product in the form of the razer tartarus v2 and I really have not felt a need to go back to my keyboard after even a day of training. I set the thumb stick to wasd and set my asd fingers to "crouch" "jump" and "dodge". Not only do I have access to all of those commands instantly now, I can also do things like quickly move in a circle around an enemy in say elden ring with little to no trouble. My thumb was already totally trained for that type of movement coming from controller. Seriously my only problem with these type of devices, is that so few companies make them.
QWERTY and flat keyboards are pretty counterintuitive if you stop to think for a second, they go against our anatomy and are the remnants of how typing machines used to work
Something that cost 20$ to manufacture for 200$+ lol. I played with a Razer Nostromo for almost 5 years, absolutly loved it. Was reasonable at 70$ but 200 is crazy.
To be honest i looked into making it myself at home because there is a plan for a 3d printer to do it but to order all the buttons and stuff is 90$ thru temu and the 3d print design is 45 and what the filament cost shockingly it cost almost the same to build as it is to buy it
You're not just paying for materials. You're paying for all the research and development that went into creating it... people can be so short sighted when it comes to cost, and the whole " I won't pay x because it only cost x to make" is very ignorant.

The price is challenging, but the range of functions and customizability are unique 🤞
