That’s dope af ! I got a 12 2ss and I bought it three years ago with 3750 miles . White , clean . I put in some American racing headers and kn intake air filter deal , also I swapped the front fog lights to led and wire plug in thing to make em be on during the day
It’s my favorite year model for the pre-facelift/refresh 5.5 gen (14-15) Camaro. It comes with all of the 12+ interior and goodies, but keeps the 10-13 exterior - absolutely love it. I can only imagine if the 6th or 6.5 gen Camaro had gone back to the divided rear tail lamps… I don’t really like the look of the 2021+ Camaro’s all that much.. The 6th gen’s definitely have a much less aggressive body shape, compared to the 5th gen’s in my opinion.
Sweet....I'm old school, I leave the factory look on my 2001 Silverado LS 5.3 , I just put drilled rotors , cat-back side-out exhaust....250k runs , drives looks great.....best vehicle I've ever owned..good luck..!
Nice find bro! That’s a rare gem right there with only 4k miles. I have a maroon 14 vert on lexani spike rims modded out, carbon fiber add on interior. Performance is Pulley, fic 1000 injectors, 93 tune, intake, long tubes catless and she screams. Wish they were a little lighter but it is what it is.
Awesome, that Gen5 is brand new, enjoy your new ride. I got me a 2014 1LE about 8 months ago, with only 30k miles on it and in pristine condition. First mod I did was to replace that OEM obsolete radio with a DigitalOctopus radio and I love it
Im planning on re-buying a 2013 convertible ZL1. White with a black soft top. I love the original tailights and circular head lights the 2013's had. I drove one 9 years ago. But got married and needed a more usable daily driver. Now I have more space in the garage and I'm collecting cars again. So I can re-buy this thing lol
@@whateva_man Thank you, Yes, still working on it too. I think I'm addicted. Unfortunately more power now than the stock clutch can handle. so that'll be a new video in a few months. Is your paint RedHot or a different color?
Superchargers in 2012 2013 have factory issues they've extended the warranty to 10 yrs look into it! I just had to get mine replaced on my 2012 with only 10k mi
We installed a rocker switch between the fuse and exhaust actuators so we can toggle back and forth for city and track driving. We have no cats and have headers so it is a bit loud.
That looks really great! I saw some for really low prices on Carmax, but the photos don't do the justice that your video does. Really good looking car. Totally underrated by the social media. I do wonder about pulley changes. So your car will be at boost even when sitting idle? Don't like that. And then at top end it spins the screws faster, but only if you rev it all the way up in every gear? Seems like some tuning would be needed to make that provide the desired result without the possible side effects. Best wishes. Don't blow her up.
@whateva_man keep thinking about putting a torque storm on the one I got but finding a tuner where I am is kind of a challenge and I'm no good at dealing with the data logging and stuff fur an email tune
I haven't really researched that. I would assume you could boost a SS and make it faster than a stock ZL1 but how much would it cost and what all parts need to be updated would be my thoughts. I am in groups with guys pushing 850-1000 horsepower ZL1 and they spent a lot of money . You might want to find a good engine builder and or a tuner and see what it will take to meet your horsepower goals.
Either/or. A 13-15 SS 1LE with a built motor will make as much power as a lightly modded zl1 and be a bit lighter. But personally I like the looks of the 13 zl1 so that would be my choice. Although a built and stroked SS 1LE also has its own appeal. The responsiveness of a NA motor is undeniable.
@@erickstormcrow2775 I feel you. My daily is a cheap beater lol. I think the ZL1 would do fine as a daily. I'm in a group with people that have over 100k on their ZL1s. Overall parts and upkeep is probably cheaper on the 1LE. There is gas mileage too although the ZL1 does decent when you aren't heavy on the pedal. I chose the ZL1 over the 1LE and probably would again but you can't go wrong with either one.
@@erickstormcrow2775 my mother had a 2014 1LE and now she has a 2019 1LE with 80K miles (highway miles) 1LE is a more track car so ride will be stiffer and so will seats zl1 is more comfy daily

2013 is the last model before the refresh :)
I have the 2013 too :)
@Starlynightlight Nice! I ended up selling this one and I have a 2014 now. I like the refresh but the 13 spoiler and rear bumper look more aggressive
Sweet. Just bought an inferno orange 13 zl1 vert m6 with 9700 miles. It has the same wheels, but they were power coated black.
I almost bought an inferno vert. Sounds like you found a nice one!

Sounds like a nice ride. I'm stock performance wise other than a CAI but I made some cosmetic upgardes that I will be making a video on soon.
@whateva_man how is it because it's 10yrs old ?

Nice bro, I just picked up a 2013 zl1 convertible all black. I love it
Thanks. Nice I almost got a convertible.
Beautiful Car Man! I just Purchased a 2015 ZL1 Drop Top with 30k miles on it and I love it!! Had a 2010 SS
Nice pick up. I almost bought a drop top too
Beautiful purchase. How about long tubes, pulleys, intake for the first mods and enjoy as is for a bit. After go cam and a Kong blower.
🇺🇸👍💪🦅
Thank you. Just did the intake and will probably do the pulleys and headers soon. I'll have to look into that blower. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thank you!
Got an 2010 2ss but a ZL1 5th generation is my dream car💯🔥
Great find, no modes, however, I would not do anything. That auto is only going to increase in value as a factory original, OEM.
Nice find. I got mine with 8400 miles,. Best car I've owned.
Nice, I see you have done quite a bit of modifications to yours. I look forward to checking out some of your videos

Yeah I heard about that. Sucks but hopefully mine breaks before the warranty. If not I'll fix it and have it ported.
Is it still valid I just got mine a few weeks ago

I may do headers eventually. I love the sound. I bet yours sounds great!
Clean im trying to get a 2013 also
make sure to protect the rear fender's paint its known to get scratched and chipped from rocks and debris flying from the front wheel its a must
Yeah definietly needs some protection. This is my 2nd 5th Gen and the other one was all chipped up
Congratulations. Looks nice
Thank you
I'm on the hunt for one now, great looking car.
Thank you. Keep looking they are out there. I looked for over a year before I grabbed this one.
These are very rare now.

Get a Roto Fab CAI, it makes the supercharger much more audible and gives you 20 hp 🙌
I already bought a intake from cold air inductions. It does make the supercharger sound good. I might switch up to roto fab down the line
No wayyyyy 3700 miles that’s a steal
Beautiful car! Congratulations! A bit late, but congrats!
Thank you!
I love this car
Ohio love 💪🏾
mint my dude. ill be going for a nice zl1 like this as soon as i purchase my house with a 3 car garage. gotta have a place to put this bad boi
I just got a henny 650 zl1 😁
Luv this cars
Wow that's a bad ass car!
It's clean man. 3000 miles that Thang wasn't driven at all, I can't wait to get mine but it's not gonna be nearly as nice.
When I was searching I found some higher mileage ones that were still really nice. There are some hidden gems out there
@@whateva_man I'm torn between a 13 SS with 10k miles or a 12 ZL1 with 50k miles. The Z is 10k more. Both nice.

Yo man I had one of these before I totaled it , should I get another one or go for a Corvette stingray, same price for both cars
You can't go wrong with either one. The C7 vette was on my radar but I always wanted this model ZL1.
Do you daily drive it?? I m looking at one myself here in nj...
No I don't. I drove about 6k miles in a year and about a third of that was going to on the road to car shows

How reliable has the car been?
No issues at all
