So if anyone also doesn't have apple sauce, I just made this recipe and I cut another apple in big chunks and put it in a microwave with a bit of water and syrup for a few minutes and then smashed the soft apple chunks with a fork. And then used this as an apple sauce (it made a lot more than two tablespoons of course). I kept the skin because it was very soft, but if it is rough I think it would be better to peel it off

May I ask.. What temperature do you put this and Your other mug treats in the oven... no microwave. :) Love Your recipes! And around how long'ish.
Hi there! I haven't baked mine in the oven yet, but I would go with 180C for 8-10 minutes.
@@HowToCookSmarter Thank you for that! I'm also using a toaster oven.

Wonder if I can bake this also. I know I’ll use it in a microwave. But I’d love to have a baked version also. I know there may be a lot of them out there but yours seems so easy for me. Thanks.

Hot apples and cinnamon! Yummy! Do you have a suggestion what I can use instead of applesauce?
Thanks Gila! Well, you could go with apple slices only, or even saute your apples on some butter for couple of minutes.
