I gave this book 4 stars mainly because there is no way that Sarek would have left a dying Amanda. I’ve been a TOS fan since 1972, and no Sarek and Amanda fan would have been happy with this idea. I would have also left out the Peter Kirk/Klingon romance story. It just took away from the main story. These things aside, it was great to have a book devoted to my favorite character after Spock, and to hear Mark Lenard reading the audiobook was a gift. Rest In Peace, Mark.

Man...another one that has sat on the shelf for years. I'm clearly not making the best decisions here. LOL
Give it a second read, it's a good book.
