We are not your kind is criminally underrated
Interesting hearing the differnce in the chours compared to the final version. Much prefer how it ended up I think, the half time heard here really slows the song down at times. Great footage!
Another song from WANYK that's "totally different " is unstained
At the recording, he hit the double bass like in heretic anthem or orphan at verse, but it's not the same as released version
imo the half time is actually really interesting and while I love the chaotic nature of this song, it would have been a cool contrast

This is one of my favorite (if not my favorite) Slipknot song + I'm a big fan of Jay's work, so I enjoyed singing the song in my head while listening to this man's incredible drums 🤘.

@@FallenKiwiCFP I love IOWA, AHIG, still like WANYK and love the quality of it’s production. It’s also the first album that Jay was permitted to let loose with his own songwriting on the drum tracks. Shame on Rick Rubin for charging a fortune for unforgivingly botching the production on VOL 3.
Edit : I don’t much dig THE END SO FAR … kind of like how I don’t dig KIN by WHITECHAPEL.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but is Jay using the butts of the sticks to play?
On the right hand he uses the tip of the stick. But on the left hand actaully the butt. Probably to get a stronger hit on the snare
