As a owner of the platinum 300ii I think monitor audio went cheaper on this 3G build,for one they lowered sensitivity made the drivers thicker and stronger so they can pump more SPL out of it,they also stoped using the premium leather no screens to protect the drivers made a hole in the speaker box for the traditional binding post and also went cheap on the footers and got rid of the solid bass with footers that are on my 300ii they also discontinued the great 500ii,so yea I think they went cheap on this build
@@jewelbell5 everyone is entitled to there taste,but as a holder of two degrees in engineering from NYU I know there technical specifications I studied it before I bought my 300ll I have also seen and read there changes to the specifications of the new 3G S and it’s very easily observed,read my message one more time everything I wrote is a fact of there build

Beautiful speakers! Do you think you'd be able to do a review of B&W's DB1D sub? I'm curious to see how that will perform vs your other subwoofers. Not a single review of it on RUclips.
Tell him to put the tube on the higher frequency speaker terminals, and put some high power amp on the low frequency terminals, best of both worlds, maybe?
these guys definitely don't know how to set up speakers properly those speakers are way too close to the front wall those speakers need at least 3 ft away from the front wall to sound their best.

I think these are more beautiful than the last generation. Don't know about the build quality, but looks solid.
