Elizabeth Schall is a awesome guitar player and I totally enjoy her technique. Smokin talent. Thank you so much. It is so nice to see a female out front rockin like crazy. Keep it up. =)
Dude she's hella fucking cool I got to interview her for my radio show a few months back. Super chill chick knows her shit about metal and guitars all around cool person.
I mostly use mine for working on riffs so i dont blow the walls out with the bigger amp i have. But after hearing a Cube through a Zilla 2x12 cab with no effects but what it has built in, it can hold its ground with the best of them.
Wow, I'm really impressed with this amp. Apparently from what I've seen with other demos, it's pretty user friendly. Elizabeth's Fernades guitar is also both beautiful and sounds great.
@crosshairs3 I just have the Micro Cube, but I absolutely love it! ...and they are built like tanks, almost literally! I would buy another one if I ever did break it, which is highly unlikely.
If you guys want to see a real review of this amp from a musician that has a broad range of style to his playing...then I suggest you watch Rob "Chappers" Chapman's (RobChappers on RUclips) videos. Not only can he play like a mother fucker, but he can also record this amp to the purest of it's own timbre. Not saying anything bad about the chick in this video, because she's obviously got skills. But outside of her own genre, that is death metal...I think she falls short on this review.
I tried one of these amps a couple weeks ago against the advise of the owner of the guitar shop. I completely understand why he told me not to even bother. The sound is very muddy if you add any amount of gain and I don't care for the clean channel at all, either.I sincerely doubt that you can even get it to sound as decent as it does in the video.
Ya'... great death metal ~ and you can't even hear the constant hissing these amps make (which is only interrupted by occassional crack/popping noises) ~ good job Liz!
@MarcusWellf - I think heretic is right. The gain is much better on the amps he mentioned. then again, so is every amp's. remember, distortion is not roland's forte-at all. However, you are right about the clean. i also think she is just playing along with the cd and not through the amp on her tunes. That rock example she did use with the roland's distortion sounded pretty shitty too.
Its always the guys that make the sexist comments that don't have any girlfriends or wives. Have some respect for her talent as a guitarist and grow up.
@TurkeyTuck Just because I like videogames doesn't mean I don't play guitar ;) I've been playing guitar for almost 13 years now and I write jazz and several other genres. That doesn't mean I'm a virtuoso at all though. In fact, I'll be the last one to call myself that. But I do know that that "jazz example" thing was really, really bad. How does she even dare to call that jazz? It's just plucking a couple of barre chords that you learn in the first months of guitar lessons =/
I'll agree it's a pretty versatile amp, but when she said at the beginning that it was "compact", I couldn't help but laugh. That thing is half her damn size!
@reliac1 Its a long running youtube joke. But it doesnt change the fact the lizzy there is pathetic at jazz playing. Not that I am any better (just learning!).
I really do not understand some people just because she is a women that plays really well she should receive the same respect as everyone else. Some people these days are just a bit too overbearing. If all you saw was hands on a fretboard and did not know she was a women what kinda of comments would be left instead?
@MarcusWellf bullshit....you can get a way better tone with a 500 to 600 dollar amp. bugera amps for example or a peavey 6505+ 112 combo are way better
Take a fine looking girl, give her a guitar. If she's a 7 out of 10 before the chops, she's a 9 with 'em. Something about a great looking female shredder that appeals to all of us guys, don't ya think?
Nice FX and whatnot, but the distortion is just awful. It manages to be super compressed and gainy, but thin, boxy and unsaturated at the same time. For $400 you can definitely do way better (Boss Katana or even a Randall RG head).
She can't play like a musician? She's in her own death metal band. She "IS" a musician. She may not be so great at jazz or blues but once again; she's in a death metal band and that's the type of musician she is because that is what she plays best. She plays as good if not better than the average guy who plays with their own semi-pro metal band. Giver he some credit. How many females play metal at all much less kick as much as she does?
Man, that thing sounds awful on any of the distortions. Johnny De Marco gets a better sound in the demos of the same gar, and it's because he has a mic on the speaker. I don't see a mic on the cab in this video, yet the sound is clear, so it must be recorded from the amp's direct out. It sounds like there is no adequate speaker simulation for the direct output. It needs some major post-processing, like a speaker-simulating impulse response, or better EQ at the very least.
I used four Cube 80XL's daisy chained together with different effects on each amp for my guitar. Love it 👍👍👍
Great..Amazing...
🎸🤘🤘

WOW...Blown away by her playing!!!!
@Marnix Vinkenborg i connected roland 20 xl to synth and it works good
I enjoyed the playing and demo!
very cool!
just got one and its blown me away !!!!!!!
even the micro has balls !!!!!!!
Whatever she is playing at the 2:00 mark is amazing. Wonder if she just came up with that right then and there.
Absolutley, THank you.
I'm using a custom Fernandes guitar. For the moment it's just a prototype using the Dragonfly model.
I like so much and thank's a lots...
elizabeth schall is so f'n awesome can't wait til dreaming dead's new album!
soo cool
Wow just wow you are one amazing player.
@crosshairs3 I just have the Micro Cube, but I absolutely love it! ...and they are built like tanks, almost literally! I would buy another one if I ever did break it, which is highly unlikely.
I'm in love.
She rocks!!
Gorgeous and can play.
no kidding.....shes got faster shredding chops than me by a long shot. Keep rockin' liz.
i love your Technic

Good Job Beb..
You Rockkkk!!! you are awesome!!!

Also, she's a great guitarist. I hope other people have pointed that out before me.
Whoa, I saw her live at a Cretin show. She's really good.
You gots skills, LIZ!!!!!!!!
Great Sound. What software are you using to record?
nice demo
Cool! =)
@leragequit Trust me, it sounds fantastic.
What a tune on 3:15
Thanks for making a demo with actual playing. You're outfit is cool.
nice amp but is the same for the smaller versions?
Pretty guitar!
As man i love see girls playing like this...she is amazing...congrats...
Saw her band play in hollywood not too long ago. Pretty bitchin if you ask me
cool demo, what is that guitar?
That's tight!... oh and her playing is good too.
It's true, my friend.
sweet gerl. I like it... sory my bad english )
roland cube? or VOX valvetronix? im leaning towards the cube
Its always the guys that make the sexist comments that don't have any girlfriends or wives. Have some respect for her talent as a guitarist and grow up.
\m/ Yeah!! I want a couple of those in my hands!!! (I mean the guitar and the amp....:-))
maam just wanna ask if the 80xl can play in large open venues ?
this cubes is usual solid state amp. Just like Boss processor with cab. Oh anyway it's a same factory.
is there a difference between the cube gx and xl???
Let me revisit this video.
metal suits her best!
Will this work with a stage synthesizer?
she is really cute and had alot of interesting things to say about this amp. THANKS!
@TurkeyTuck Just because I like videogames doesn't mean I don't play guitar ;) I've been playing guitar for almost 13 years now and I write jazz and several other genres. you too!
I can't wait to get this Amp... so i can rock out with my Ibanez
so? did you get it?
true
Can this amp take a lot of pedals?
What guitar is she using, just saying.
Sweet jesus I just fell in love...
What pick-up's do You use?
I'll agree it's a pretty versatile amp, but when she said at the beginning that it was "compact", I couldn't help but laugh. That thing is half her damn size!
Very nice yes-yes-yes-....
@reliac1
Its a long running youtube joke. But it doesnt change the fact the lizzy there is pathetic at jazz playing. Not that I am any better (just learning!).
;D ayy girl!
What guitar is she using darn it lol.
I finally determined what I like about female guitar players: those delicate fingers.
SHE CAN PLAY IN MY BAND ANYTIME
i preffer those demos without backing track and using camera mic
xl has a looper, gx doesn't. quite the bummer
I really do not understand some people just because she is a women that plays really well she should receive the same respect as everyone else. Some people these days are just a bit too overbearing. If all you saw was hands on a fretboard and did not know she was a women what kinda of comments would be left instead?
Why don't great guitarists not use this?
even better at 4:04
the best "fernandes revolver elite" ;)
Can you tell I know nothing about jazz? Caught me!
@MarcusWellf bullshit....you can get a way better tone with a 500 to 600 dollar amp. bugera amps for example or a peavey 6505+ 112 combo are way better
3:11 playback
CHALA LA MINA
lol, jazz sure sorts the wheat from the chaff...
also, thats a funny looking kitchen.
Wow, she's really rough on Her tremolo bar! =D haha
I LOVE YOU SWEET HEART!!
Great playing, but the tone is a bit too muddy.
EMG pickups are stunningly lifeless..
Take a fine looking girl, give her a guitar. If she's a 7 out of 10 before the chops, she's a 9 with 'em. Something about a great looking female shredder that appeals to all of us guys, don't ya think?

Those aren't ugg's! haha, they're elf boots. ;)
Holy SHIT can she play!? Amazing demo ^^.
Just thinking through the video: "And I thought I'm metal..."
everything is cool except distortion ...
Great playing! Muffled sound a bit but who cares.
oh no Liz is wearing the dreaded ugg boots
