@JHPMedicalUK Yes, I will. This med is a calcium channel blocker, and the first side effects listed is constipation. If I've known that I would not have stayed on the medication for the few years I've been on it. As gut health means everything to me without it, your whole system is thrown off as it affects every organ in your body.

I had Angina attacks in 2011 when I was taking a chemo tablet, oncologist stopped the tablet and I spent 4 days on a heart ward being checked out, they found nothing wrong with my heart, so now I'm thinking my doctor skimmed over the report saw the word angina and decided I will put him on this drug.

I think it does make your mouth dry. I find it especially at night. Plenty of waking up having some water then off to the bathroom. This repeats so not very restful nights for me. It has this downside possibly but not everyone the same.

@desertodavid Thank you for the reminder. I do know that, but sometimes forget. I had some neighbors causing me stress with their constant Boom Boom Boom music. You know the type! What I finally had to learn was to just try to ignore it as there was really nothing I could do about it which wouldn't make my blood pressure go even higher. I have been on this drug since 2011, I never knew you took it for Angina.
