For one Thai wedding I went to as a kid, the khan-maak (wedding door game / wedding gatecrash) doesn't use trials. The groom just gave out money envelopes to whoever held the ribbon gates lol.
Ceremony sounds like a lot of fun! I love learning about different cultural traditions and this Khan Maak ceremony seems like such an interesting way to honor ancient traditions. It's so cool that everyone gets involved, from the groom's family to the bride's family, and that there are different challenges at each gate. I can only imagine how exciting it must have been to have traditional Thai dancers and musicians there as well!
@@putrijoyceirawati2638 Well, the way Garnt pronounced the word kinda wrong. I think he tried to use English accent on the word, instead of Thai accent. No wonder some people could hear it as Gun, instead of Kan.
There's just something wholesome about how the boys went from just bunch of weebs hosting some anime podcast, to living together in weeblandia, to looking at each others dicks in onsen, and now to actively participating in the most important life event to one of the boys in prominent and important roles.
our traditional weddings have bribes too. :D grooms family has to give the bride's family bribe as well, to be let in the house. We have a whole procession of picking up the bride before going to church xD
I thought he did some modern Thai weddings, but when I see ‘kan mark’ I laugh. That's the authentic Thai thing to do: walk slowly and give an awkward smile (or dance).
i really want one of those channels that animate Connor to animate this , just him standing on a bridge in front of 100 people fortnite dancing while his power level keep going up until he becomes Ultra Monke
Well you can go to any south asian wedding and find many quirky ceremony like here in India's tribal wedding the bride has to get on the shoulder's of someone who is like a brother to him and the man just dances with her on his shoulder and everyone joins in dancing. Haven't seen any accidents with this ceremony tho.... and I don't know a lot about the whole ceremony Thai castle adventure was on another level tho
I got to experience this twice as a kid and it was amazing 😂 If my future partner isn’t willing to do this for me then I don’t want em 😂 (I’m Thai and living in the US.)
we wanna see another anime figure contest but this time we want in pairs i.e connor with ironmouse joey and aki , garnt and sydney and emily with daidus that would be so epic 😂😂😂😂
it's funny because in Indonesia we have similar wedding procession. only the process is faster & we only have 1 gate where the fighter from the groom side needs to defeat the fighter from bride's side in order to proceed..
Man had to complete side quests to access his own wife
it like BOTW Master Sword quest, You must complete challange to unlock full potencial
Connor’s Fortnite dancing skills from when he was drunk at the club finally payed off
All I wonder about is how clean his griddy was
Paid sir 🥲
It's so ingrained into him that it's the only dance he no longer needs a higher brain function to perform
He forgot to mention that once you pass the final gate, you have to defeat Bowser himself.
Doug Bowser: Our battle will be legendary!
The whole story of Garnt's Thai wedding sounded like a surreal waking dream
They sound fun
I love hearing about Thai culture
Well, that's another culture for ya
you should see Indian weddings, they're next level
@@ella-pc2guIts one of my goals to go to one, it looks so fun
I wish somebody would animate the trash taste stories 🤣🤣
Oh my gosh, boosting this comment because PLEASE someone animate this story

On another note Sydney looked so gorgeous in the traditional Thai dress. Absolutely stunning. Garnt's a lucky man
Connor dancing on the side giving buffs to Joey and Garnt like the dance class from Fire Emblem
Y’all’s D&D “castle-storming” mission required a Bard…roll for performance!

Garnt's being luffy to take Nico Robin back!!!!!

Loh ni macam kahwin dengan orang Johor ni.

A bit, but also fun in the end I guess.
