This is why I hated North the very time i see her especially the scene she wants you out. She's such a hypocrite, whenever you do anything destructive or violent, you gain her favor. You are basically sowing all the discord.
Why you hate North? In the video Markus wasnt violent, Markus was straight up useless leading everyone to disaster. North did whatever Markus wanted as Markus was the leader but Markus fd up real hard => North wanted to salvage the situation.
"Hypocrite" North is consistent in its beliefs and will push its agenda. If Markus isnt there North (as the most headstrong and action oriented) will become the leader and does exactly what it wanted Markus to do (this time also emulating a heartbroken emotions).
"Whenever you do anything destructive or violent, you gain her favor" - everyone tends to be friendlier when you do things their favourite way and share their view. However, North likes Markus if he a) accomplishes Jericho's goal and b) when Markus shares its view - you totally didnt take into account that you can be all the time pacifist but when you get the job done, North will follow you because North doesnt want pointless violence, North wants androids to be free AND North (imo correctly) assumes that humans wont give their superiority to androids so easily and that they will slaughter them all. (Only totally cringe gameplay mechanics make the peaceful options possible really). IF Markus convinces North that the peaceful way can work, North is more OK with peaceful than Josh is with Violent.
Side note, North does more for the cause than Josh and Simon AND if Markus is incompetent North always picks the peaceful solution until Markus authorizes violence OR Markus is destroyed/kicked out => North leader. Without North the dirty bomb would explode in every playthrough.

Why IS it up to Markus? Are Josh, North, and Simon so incompetent that they can't lead Jericho through a revolution, peaceful or otherwise, on their own? Just because Markus has moxie and determination, that doesn't make him the obvious messiah and leader for their people.
barbaro267 It does. He is prototype RK model like Connor. Only higher level androids can lead the revolution. Its Markus, if not him then Connor. But Connor cannot be true leader because he eventually gets controlled by Cyberlife and makes sappuku. So yeah it has to be Markus. Neither Simon nor Josh, North could not do it because they are basic level androids. I believe Kamski specifically designed Markus to be highly autonomous, to have free will and power to lead people. (He was the puppeteer of the whole revolution. *imho )
Nothing dictates that an higher version android must lead the revolution, he just has the initiative to do what no one dared to do before, and that generates confidence in the other androids.
Connor is also a leader in the other endings either because he had a close encounter to the leader (and also is close to the player so it "feels" better when seeing him in first plane on the scene) or because he has an army of his own model
NANCOK another Connor fangirl/boy detected. Game dictates that. In every path where Markus does not survive Jericho fails. Even when Connor leads at the end, he fails, because he either obeys Amanda and deviants gets controlled by Cyberlife, or he escapes Amanda and ends up killing himself. That sums up my whole argument above.

NANCOK chill. Logical reason is that Kamski orchestrated the whole revolution because he created Markus this way. Millions of other androids never even thought to rise up against creators before him as a whole nation. His program and his mission is to liberate his species and to lead revolution. That was my argument. RK200 aka Markus was Kamski's exclusive secret project. That is the reason why everyone except him fails according to the game. The deviancy was also inserted by Kamski himself, as he said he always leaves "emergency exit in the program". Kamski is God like figure in this game.

With connor locating jericho you >can< abandon jericho voluntarily ( forget the kicking thing ).You can’t leave jericho voluntarily if connor doesn’t locates u. The only way leaving early is being kicked. If u were kicked and connor locates i think everyone in jericho dies ( or north detonates the bomb ) and connor will remain machine cuz only markus can “deviant” him ( cuz the scene with north she fails to deviant connor bc its blocked, only markus can run a successful revolution

You also can do this with Simon alive. Saving him is one little ^ for Jericho and doesn't make a difference combined with the mega ˅˅˅ you get. Think of it this way: if you spare the Tracis and Chloe and save Hank, jumping over the fence to chase Kara on the highway doesn't mean you can't be a deviant. It balances out. It's actually interesting to see Simon in this ending, because it's one of the only endings where he hates Markus. Just thought I'd mention that.

I feel like in the rejected part, Josh, or Simon (if he's still alive) should fight North for control of the revolution, cause North self-proclaims herself as the new leader of the revolution. Josh is against violence, North is all for that. Also those planes that come in after North runs out of the command center thing in Jericho and Connor is on the ground, those things look like HKs from Terminator. (Also Connor is a model RK800. T-800.)

I really wanna see a Connor play-through where he does everything according to programming. i.e. No instability. The revolution can go whichever way but Connor ends up completing his mission with Amanda always having full trust.

it feels like as long as you don't try to mess up, Markus is made to lead Jericho and can't be hated
One thing to keep in mind is that 0% doesn't necessarily mean none. This game doesn't seem to show partial percents. "percent" literally means "out of 100." So if one out of every thousand players got this ending, then it would still show up as 0% because it's actually .1% but the game doesn't do decimals.

This game has over a hundred... every sing choice in this game has a huge impact, and the public reaction is the most realistic in any video game... the amount of time creators would have had to have spent making this game the way it is is insane, and frankly for you to call it "good but nothing amazing" or "not as good as Heavy Rain" is simply insulting... this game is a masterpiece compared to Heavy Rain and most other 2018 games, and is definitely game of the year worthy.
I hate to break it to you, but if you don't think this game is amazing, the entire gaming industry is gonna be quite a disappointment for you buddy.
Epsilon Star Nah, I’m good. I appreciate the work that is put into the game and I do love the story involving Connor and Hank, however especially Markus’ story can be really cliché. That’s something that Heavy Rain didn’t have.
MrPatrickbuit being cliche is something you can't avoid in any good movie or video game, there's a reason some things become cliche, because they're effective. And in my opinion Markus' story is one of the least cliche things in DBH. If anything in that game is cliche, it's Kara's story.

To answer your question about if the relationship with North, Simon (if he's alive) and Josh affects the dialogue if you get kicked out of Jericho. Unfortunately, no. When I tried this outcome for the first time, I did some calculations to get the Lover relationship with North (since she's the one kicking Markus out of Jericho, I mainly tried to have a good relationship with her) and an at least decent relationship with Simon and Josh (in the end, Simon was "Friend" and Josh was "Neutral") but with the "Unpopular" relationship with Jericho to see if it can change the outcome of the scene and it didn't change anything to the scene. It was the exact same scene with no difference. I guess the developers didn't expect that someone playing the game would do that. Well, with this many possibilities, I guess it's complicated to think about everything.
