I was disappointed with the blotched up relationship status between North and Markus. I didnt think they could have a viable romance. Also, Markus has no reason to be this antagonistic towards humans because he loves Carl like anything. Yes, he is terribly sad in the beginning because of the preacher, the protestors, questioning why he cant enjoy the park as humans. This is a good tangent. But they dont explore the complexity of Markus, which was a shame. Also, Kara can be killed off and nothing important would happen. I mean I know Kara's actions engage public opinion and her narrative is interesting but like she doesnt do much otherwise, which I found painful.
He can't die. He is a robot. He can be destroyed. But even then. He get's replaced with another Connor model with all his memories uploaded back again. So he is literally an immortal machine that can actually keep "respawning" endlessly until cyberlife or Amanda decides to shut him down.
I love connor's unique form of deviancy. He becomes a deviant while remaining in tact with his intelligent machine side that is always analyzing and working within probabilities and such, becoming a sort of "living machine". Its a beautiful medium that really fits his chracter.
Connor was a deviant from the beginning; him "becoming" a deviant aboard Jericho is just choosing whether or not CyberLife decides to turn Connor into a mole so they can stop the android rebellion from the inside.

I choose to believe this was a manipulation to break his spirit and get him back into line, and her AI was more desperate than it showed. I never noticed how Connor's movements in the corridor after activating the detonator are so much more agile and effortless compared to Markus. He really is an advanced prototype. Makes me wish we could have seen the RK900 in action too
I honestly think he would've been the same as Connor but without the ability to go deviant or get 'software instability'. They're practically identical and it makes no sense for them to only show him in the bad machine ending unless they were trying to wait until deviancy was stopped to make him.

Inkimetronic what’s cool is that with Markus and Connor, they give you a choice to break down the wall. While Kara, the first deviant to break the wall, you have to physically do it yourself without any clue. This idea makes you better understand why deviants became deviants by putting yourself in their shoes. I really like how they did that because since you just started the game, they make you want to become deviant.
There is way better full play throughs you have not searched on here,I suppose. Look up Bryan's, but 1st look up theRadBrad. He's best seen so far. Binged on all his. He got sent early pre-release by PS so he has it 2 months b4 it came out.

There's also a scene in the broadcasting station mission if you saved the police officer in the first mission (hostage mission with Daniel). The officer will recognise Connor and thank him for saving his life and Connor will smile the most adorable little smile 😭
In my headcanon, this conversation still happens if Marcus survives. The game (aka David Cage) just decides to not show it in order to focus on Marcus' inner conflict (peaceful march vs revolution) instead. You can't convince me that Connor and Kara simply ignored each other, lmao.

Okay, so, this is something I’ve been wanting to share for a while now. I don’t know if anyone else has already said this, or if people already realized this, but I’ve been thinking about it and want to share it. Notice how, when Kara, Conner and Markus become deviants, they have to break this “wall” that’s in the way, which I believe would be there programming or something like that. Now, when Kara became a deviant, her intent hadn’t been to kill Tod originally, her intention had simply been to protect Alice, to stop Tod from hurting her. So, when she breaks that wall, she puts both her hands against it and pushes it. But if you look at the way her hands are up in front of the wall, it’s like she’s holding her hands up in a way you would to tell someone to stop. At least to me, that’s what it seemed like. Which would make sense since she wanted to stop Tod from hurting Alice. Now, when Markus become a deviant, notice how he breaks that wall by punching it. Which would make sense since he had the option to endure Leo’s taunts Or defend himself by pushing him, like he did to break the wall. Now, I think Conners case was special, because, apart from being programmed to not turn deviant, he also had Amanda programmed into his system to make sure he accomplished his missions and didn’t turn deviant. I believe Amanda had created her own wall over Conner, stoping him from Waking up. I think that’s why Conner breaks the wall but tearing it down. It’s like he’s tearing down Amanda’s hold over him. I don’t know if anyone else agrees with this, but I honestly think it’s interesting and kinda cool, so I wanted to share it. Thanks for reading to the end if you did, Lol.
Oooh thats a nice theory! For me, I always thought it was about how advanced they were. Kara is just a maid in design really, so she didn't have as many safeguards in her programing. Markus was a prototype, a one of a kind, so his was harder- and connor was specifically programmed to hunt deviants so he had the most safeguards in his programming.. that's how I saw it.

I really hope there’s a second game. I know it wouldn’t come out for another four years but think about it. It could be about the events that take place after androids are excepted and Kara’s life in Canada. Or depending on the path you took, what it’s like after the androids die and they make a different generation of Androids. Idk, I just really like this game and would love to see more of it.
The problem with that is there are so many endings which makes that really complicated. For example if I prefer Kara dead, and Marcus killed. Then how can I play a game where they somehow out of nowhere is alive.
tbh I like the game a lot and I want to see more about it, so a second game would be great, but if they had to make another game then they'll have to choose which one of all the endings the game has is the true one because there actually isn't a true ending in the game, every ending could be the true one, it's up to the player to choose which one of all the endings is the true one. So having to choose which one of all the endings is the real one to make another game will actually kill the essence of the game. And also, if there was a second game, What would it be all about? To be a good game it must have an introduction, a conflict and an outcome, it just can't be about Connor, Kara, and Markus' stories after the game, it must have a conflict, and I don't think there are too many possible conflicts that could actually work well without being a cliché lol
Is it me or are these sequence of events not rendered as well as the rest of the game? The graphics look less "detailed". Makes sense, I guess. Only a small percentage of players will get to this storyline
I don't think it was intentional, sometimes when a character is rendered for a close up in a cutscene the textures fail to fully load and you'll see a character in low res suddenly pop into high res in an instant mid scene, but sometimes they never render at all lol

Plus, it doesn't really fit in Connor's personality to fall in love with someone. In my opinion, he's the most android out of the three, even after he becomes a deviant. He even has difficulty with his own program once breaking free. He's a law and order guy. Kara represents motherly love in D:BH, not romantic love, which could be portrayed by Markus and North, or the two Tracis. It just doesn't seem like something Connor would do. And romance doesn't have to be a central point in a game.

Film Fangirls not sure because I've played through it as a revolutionary and as a pacifist. Both ended with Markus gaining them Independence. Although I will say if you play through it as a revolutionary and be violent you'll have a better outcome for the Androids and the humans will respect you more. If you play through peacefully most of the Androids will die and even though you gain indepence it's only temporary and the humans don't respect you.

No, North will fail but if you succeed as Connor i think you will still get the ending as if you wont the battle because you technically have and North just evacuated, she wasnt shot once so she wouldnt shut down

It probably has to do with him being a prototype. Apparently he was always supposed to become deviant, according to amanda in one of the endings.
Connor was a deviant from the beginning; him "becoming" a deviant aboard Jericho is just choosing whether or not CyberLife decides to turn Connor into a mole so they can stop the android rebellion from the inside.
Late reply I know but I choose to believe Amanda's words about him always being meant to become a deviant were a lie. In other option she can say that they just have measures in case he deviated. I choose to believe this was a manipulation to break his spirit and get him back into line, and her AI was more desperate than it showed. I believe that Konnor is a deviant from the very beginning, but has a very strong "you must complete your mission" program. That's why he can make "system instability up" choices, he thinks and acts according to his own mind not only the given instructions.
The *breaking the wall* scene that represents deviation is just a way to show us that he's no longer held back by his program, but not that he becomes conscious, because he already was. Just in denial

Inkimetronic what’s cool is that with Markus and Connor, they give you a choice to break down the wall. While Kara, the first deviant to break the wall, you have to physically do it yourself without any clue. This idea makes you better understand why deviants became deviants by putting yourself in their shoes. I really like how they did that because since you just started the game, they make you want to become deviant.
There is way better full play throughs you have not searched on here,I suppose. Look up Bryan's, but 1st look up theRadBrad. He's best seen so far. Binged on all his. He got sent early pre-release by PS so he has it 2 months b4 it came out.

Okay, so, this is something I’ve been wanting to share for a while now.
I don’t know if anyone else has already said this, or if people already realized this, but I’ve been thinking about it and want to share it.
Notice how, when Kara, Conner and Markus become deviants, they have to break this “wall” that’s in the way, which I believe would be there programming or something like that.
Now, when Kara became a deviant, her intent hadn’t been to kill Tod originally, her intention had simply been to protect Alice, to stop Tod from hurting her. So, when she breaks that wall, she puts both her hands against it and pushes it. But if you look at the way her hands are up in front of the wall, it’s like she’s holding her hands up in a way you would to tell someone to stop. At least to me, that’s what it seemed like. Which would make sense since she wanted to stop Tod from hurting Alice.
Now, when Markus become a deviant, notice how he breaks that wall by punching it. Which would make sense since he had the option to endure Leo’s taunts Or defend himself by pushing him, like he did to break the wall.
Now, I think Conners case was special, because, apart from being programmed to not turn deviant, he also had Amanda programmed into his system to make sure he accomplished his missions and didn’t turn deviant. I believe Amanda had created her own wall over Conner, stoping him from Waking up. I think that’s why Conner breaks the wall but tearing it down. It’s like he’s tearing down Amanda’s hold over him.
I don’t know if anyone else agrees with this, but I honestly think it’s interesting and kinda cool, so I wanted to share it. Thanks for reading to the end if you did, Lol.

Oooh thats a nice theory! For me, I always thought it was about how advanced they were. Kara is just a maid in design really, so she didn't have as many safeguards in her programing. Markus was a prototype, a one of a kind, so his was harder- and connor was specifically programmed to hunt deviants so he had the most safeguards in his programming.. that's how I saw it.

I wish they had given us more interactions between Kara and Connor but what they did with this game is already phenomenal.
I really hope there’s a second game. I know it wouldn’t come out for another four years but think about it. It could be about the events that take place after androids are excepted and Kara’s life in Canada. Or depending on the path you took, what it’s like after the androids die and they make a different generation of Androids. Idk, I just really like this game and would love to see more of it.

The problem with that is there are so many endings which makes that really complicated. For example if I prefer Kara dead, and Marcus killed. Then how can I play a game where they somehow out of nowhere is alive.
tbh I like the game a lot and I want to see more about it, so a second game would be great, but if they had to make another game then they'll have to choose which one of all the endings the game has is the true one because there actually isn't a true ending in the game, every ending could be the true one, it's up to the player to choose which one of all the endings is the true one. So having to choose which one of all the endings is the real one to make another game will actually kill the essence of the game. And also, if there was a second game, What would it be all about? To be a good game it must have an introduction, a conflict and an outcome, it just can't be about Connor, Kara, and Markus' stories after the game, it must have a conflict, and I don't think there are too many possible conflicts that could actually work well without being a cliché lol
Is it me or are these sequence of events not rendered as well as the rest of the game? The graphics look less "detailed". Makes sense, I guess. Only a small percentage of players will get to this storyline
I don't think it was intentional, sometimes when a character is rendered for a close up in a cutscene the textures fail to fully load and you'll see a character in low res suddenly pop into high res in an instant mid scene, but sometimes they never render at all lol

That's true. I find it nonsensical to ship two characters who barely have any interactions between each other simply because one is male and the other is female.
Plus, it doesn't really fit in Connor's personality to fall in love with someone. In my opinion, he's the most android out of the three, even after he becomes a deviant. He even has difficulty with his own program once breaking free. He's a law and order guy.
Kara represents motherly love in D:BH, not romantic love, which could be portrayed by Markus and North, or the two Tracis.
It just doesn't seem like something Connor would do. And romance doesn't have to be a central point in a game.

Film Fangirls not sure because I've played through it as a revolutionary and as a pacifist. Both ended with Markus gaining them Independence. Although I will say if you play through it as a revolutionary and be violent you'll have a better outcome for the Androids and the humans will respect you more. If you play through peacefully most of the Androids will die and even though you gain indepence it's only temporary and the humans don't respect you.

Not really sure, I'd assume that once North convinces Connor to become a deviant, once the raid begins Connor will say that he'll go and arm the bombs instead of Markus. But I can't confirm it since I haven't played that particular branch yet.
