    Watching you fight your way through the English waterways jungle I thought what a good idea it would be if someone/ authority could clean up those waterways a bit, trimming back the overgrowth to make it easier to find your way through and not having to up canoe and carry to the next good spot. What a glorious feeling gliding along in the canoe with you though.

    Rather you than me re the water filter. No filters on the market work on a bacteria level and theirs a weils disease outbreak in the UK at the moment. Purification tablets plus boiling is the only true safe way to drink the water.

    • @simonablokeinthewoods
      @simonablokeinthewoods  5 лет назад +4

      My filter removes 99.999% of bacteria, virus and disease including Weils, it also removes most pesticides and herbicides - it’s one of the only filters that does - I’m totally confident in its ability to purify - it was designed for filthy, effluent and disease ridden water in third world disaster areas. 👍 (I cant stand the taste of chlorine in my water either 😁)

      Simon, a bloke in the woods
      Yes if you make up a wooden frame what you can do is mix up some high density concrete with flint chippings they leave the edges all holey and unkempt looking roughish ind effect but what you can do then is mix in to final fine resinous mix lots of different finishes like glitter floor for a garage etc the yanks are doing it a lot but you can put in seashells from Norfolk beaches then smooth it off on surface for kitchen counter top or dye the concrete diff colors
      However I've just made a shower plinth out of 1000yr old oak it's bloody bullet proof harder than concrete
      I rescued it from An old beam I found in a 15th c barn it was destined for firewood heap
      I shall resist the song about spam
      Fried up it's quite nice actually in a breakfast or sandwich

      Simon, a bloke in the woods
      If you want a good laugh try to see how many peoples you can get into a Canadian canoe then take it out in 12ft surf barrel roll it on face of a fast moving wave
      Its a scream
      Someone on beach videos it you can play it back laters for a laugh
