    Any reason you didn’t go with a normal height tank for the new build? Weight the main issue?

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  25 дней назад

      Yeah, weight is a big part of it. And I prefer shallows anyways haha. Easy to look from up top ;)

    U don’t use UV sterilizer?

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  17 дней назад

      I do not, the aquariums are low tech. No mechanical filtration, skimmers, sumps, etc.

    How large is your new shallow reef going to be Danny? I’m sure it’s a little surreal breaking down the tanks you have running now but a large tank to take its place will look sharp. I’ll be following the new build. Congrats.

    Hi Danny, probably you already taken into account, just make sure the attic holds all the weight of the new tank, ask an architect

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  25 дней назад +1

      Yep! Definitely, very important. The size is pretty similar to what I have now.. just a tiny bit bigger. The weight is distributed very well. Will be ok!
