I HATE how players can skip replays online!!
OK skip fouls etc but goals should only be skipped by the scorer imo
I hate idiots that watch every replay online so.......
There's a highlight screen post match for that exact reason. Replays in online matches ruin the gameplay flow.
Replays of good goals are a great psychological thing online, I prefer the FIFA way, only the goalscorer can skip it
They're just a way to be a dickhead against your opponent. It's not psychological, it's just plain mocking, no sportsmanship. If you want to get the psychology advantage you do it in gameplay by "reading" your opponent and showing him who's the better player early on, that's how you eventually break him and win, not by forcing him to watch again & again & again your 60yard volley on the top corner goal. It might be a football game but when you go online it's a competitive multiplayer environment and I don't see other competitive online games pausing the gameplay to show a replay mid-match. Save the bells and whistles for offline.
I disagree If my opponent scores an amazing goal against me I want to see it too. I agree about mediocre goals I always skip mine unless it's a crucial game changer.
Think PES2020 SHOULD GET A NEW ENGINE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION...

Its prime to look at graphically but performance wise its worst. There are horrible pauses in between cutscenes (especially kickoff), still uses cutscene for celebrations (even ps2 pes was seamless in action). Horrible physicality and contact system. This engine is not meant for sports game and i agree with OP, they need a new engine made for football game.

Someone Someone Youre right. Thanks for the reminder. Thinking about it I actually have seen an 8.5 but only a few times for me to forget. So 8.5 might be the limit but i could be wrong.
Those ratings at the end seem overly harsh all round. Only 3 players got a rating 6.5 or higher! You would think from that that the match was full of mistakes from both teams.
and 4.0 and 4.5 rated players...they should done it like football manager.....4-0 wins....but some player rated badly...WTF??

Played a lot of online games.Quite hard to score goals.You get dispossessed very easily.A very noticeable input lag.Takes a while matchmaking in pc.Props to konami for realistic gameplay and environment.Controls and dribble need to feel more crisp where you can evade players.Definetely should have an option where you can play an opponent with same pass support and different colour power bar like manual.I so wish konami listens to our feedback and constructive criticism where also we should give credit where due!
Haha thank you! I've literally been saying this and PES fans get so defensive and angry when you point out an actual flaw in the game. The dribbling is so bad online, you literally cannot dribble around a single player, it's too easy to win the ball all the time.
For past 2 days, on the pc, I could only find 3 matches to play. Idk if it's due to lack of players on PC or the difference in pass support etc. It's really frustrating

I enjoyed PES18 and got round to trying the demo for 19 yesterday and it was very impressive. I will be buying. I am neither a fifa or pes 'fanboy' as such, but have always leaned towards pes since the PS2 days when it was miles ahead of fifa. The worst thing that happened to FIFA IMO was ultimate team. Firstly, I hated it, thought it was absolutely shite. Never touched it from about fifa 15/16 onwards. (whichever version was the one after it first came out) Secondly, UT is the main focus now as it brings the money in. Because of UT other modes will suffer and not get the attention they need. And it will happen until either fifa stops, or people vote with their wallets on UT

Yeaaaaahhhhhh maaahhhn mr. Brits!! Marvelous play and i'm really happy that the person that tries to play real football seems to be winning in most of the cases. The only thing is that the defensive tactics need to be looked at, because the defensive line stays the same wheter it is on 1 or 10. The biggest issue with PES online is the dribbling, it's non existent online, you're forced to pass the ball constantly. You cannot beat anyone off the dribble, you get dispossessed constantly.
Try with OX from Liverpool. I had already 3 injuries with him

My PES demo doesn't run without turning on the controller in big picture mode. When I do that, the game lags and I can't use the controller. Controller in game will work when controller in big picture is disabled. But game opens and closes, so how do I even play it? Any fixes?
You have to uninstall your Controllers Drivers and make sure you have totally clean them out in your PC and then restart your PC. Before you Open your PES2019 DEMO, Connect your Controllers and Enjoy. That has worked 100% fine for Me now I'm able to use all my Controllers.

But it depends on your preference. if you're a purist that values gameplay over everything than Pes is a better choice. if you think that a game should have 2018 worth presentation and game modes with decent gameplay and all the licenses from the start I'd say Fifa
Just because the game speed is more realistic it doesn't make the game "Fun" the whole point of gaming is to have fun, Fifa doesn't resemble football that accurately but it is a fun and entertaining game, hence why millions buy it.

TheTrueBrits I have said good things I think the game looks beautiful I've said it's good that there trying to get new licences but as far as gameplay improvements there isn't many at all I've been hearing from people that make the game is how good it looks the new lighting etc all the new leagues it's like it just a cover up to take us away from the gameplay that hasn't improved much at all

EA are one of the most lazy companies you will ever experience, especially with FIFA anyway. Without wanting to start a debate most PES2019 reviews i have watched on youtube and read are very positive, and explain how the game play is far better and looks beautiful too. Now I have also watched regular fifa youtubers give feedback on fifa 19, and the constant theme is that these youtubers are pretty let down and think FIFA19 has had barely any work done to it.
Yes CL has been added but gameplay? sod all. pro clubs? sod all. career mode? barely anything.

PES 19 out does FIFA 19 this game play in pes is great fifa is awful and clumsy I product PES have a massive increase in gamers this year because EA have fucked everyone in the arse yet again with next to no changes.
I honestly wouldn't hold my breath when it comes to Pes Online.. lets be honest Pes was never a good game online even on level 5 connection (Pes 13 was the best IMO)..
It literally takes 10 minutes to find an opponent and when you finally do.. it's the worse online gaming experience ever.. you wonder to yourself, why did I even bother?
90% of the Pes community play the same way.. 1-2 ping pong across the pitch.. cross Spam and over the top L1 + Triangle spam. Yet all I hear is that fifa is a game for "kids" lol gimme a break.
And don't get me started on the DOS cheats, Lag cheats & the hilarious scripts Conarmy implemented to help the noobs stick with their game..
