    You need to pick the right shoes for your training style.
    .
    1. Running shoes: Designed for forward motion, with cushioning and stability features to protect your feet and reduce the impact of each stride. If you run for long distances please invest in proper running shoes.
    2. Cross-training shoes: Designed for a variety of activities, including running, HIIT and jumping. They typically have a flat sole for stability and a more flexible design for versatility. If you do short runs it’s ok to use these for running.
    3. Weightlifting shoes: Designed specifically for weightlifting, with a flat and stable sole to help transfer power from your feet to your lifts. They also often have a raised heel for a better range of motion. Most canvas shoes work well including motorsport shoes. Don’t eye mine, they are 2009 vintage.

    Loved ur vid. It gave layperson like me better idea. Also i realises most of trainning shoes are running shoes just with less softer soul. Lots of Powerhouse.

    I am obese and flat footed. I have been doing low impact low intensity aerobics 6 days a week (20-30 mins) and Bollywood dance sessions 3 days a week (half hour). I have been working out since April. Which type would you advise?
