Circuit Court of Appeals in Jan asked if presidential immunity would allow a president to have a political rival killed and then be immune from prosecution for it, and Trump's lawyer said that would be the case? All three of the judges hearing Trump's immunity case pushed back on that answer, and it's one of the reasons why they unanimously ruled against Trump's demand for total presidential immunity after leaving office. That decision by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals should have been the end of the discussion, but of course Trump appeals every decision that goes against him, which is why SCOTUS is now involved.

Not about who has formed an opinion; it’s about finding jurors that can set aside those thoughts and weigh the case on the evidence brought to bear. Can they find people who can be fair? That’s all you need. But lawyers will continue throwing potential jurors out left and right especially Trump lawyers in an effort to delay delay.
