My personal pick as a Auto Mechanik is WD40😆
Is that the EDT or EDP? 😂
🤣🤣🤣
I'd like to hear your guys' thoughts on a construction worker fragrance. I am in construction (pipeline), and I wear a fragrance every day to work. Honestly, it's just whatever I'm feelin' that day. Hell, I've worn Sauvage Elixir running a jackhammer! 😂✌️
I'm the same way 💪🏾
As a fellow Pat you can trust me when I say if you’re laying pipe for a living then I think you can wear whatever you’d like haha
@@pat90 😂🤣😂🤣
I'm in construction and my sent is perfumes de Marley Layton
Old Spice.
My hubby is a music teacher. He alternates Tom Ford Oud Wood, Grand Soir by MFK, Blue by Chanel, and Gucci Guilty. On occasion he will grab my Oud Satin Mood. We do prefer the niche fragrances. We love the complexity of the scents. I work in nutrition. I usually always wear either gentle fluidity gold, fleur narcotique, or delina exclusif , depending on the weather.
I like watching these vids so I can add the ones that I think I would like to my amazon lists and then plan to go through that list when I visit a boutique so I can try for myself. Really great descriptions guys. Keep it up!
Will need a part II.
This channel is refreshing.
This was a really fun idea. I've not seen any other fragrance channel do a video like this.
I'm a banker and my signature scent is probably Green Irish Tweed or Viking by Creed.
Those are really good scents. Viking would be better for the actual work day, GIT for the Bankers Annual Ball (do bankers have an annual ball (the big formal shindig with dancing, erc.)?
But my choice for a bankers normal workday and meetings would be Tom Ford Grey Vetiver.
This was a really great idea for a video. Would love a part II
Great quality content. Slowly becoming my favorite youtube perfume reviewers!
Finally the Eau Fraiche gets some attention. I'm in LOOVE with this one. This is a pure summer fragrance in my eyes. This really deserves the name "Fraiche"... cause it's fresh... get it?
I'll find myself out.
Yes part 2 and 3 and 4 and 5, by the way there is a lot of construction trades that honestly, will be fun to see how you see us and what kind of fragrances we wear, and to make it harder I would like to see designer and nich, 😀
Keep up the work. You guys really class up the frag space.
This is great! Please create more videos pairing fragrance to occupations. I'd love to see a fragrance for an Engineer, Computer/software scientist, student, pilot, entrepreneur, personal trainer and police officer.
I would also add butcher, hedge fund manager, hitman, miner, visitor coordinator and train wheel inflater.
Great videos...you make a great stylist team with insightful suggestions and clever observations.
Bravo ! 👏 👏👏🥂🇨🇦
I'm Self-employed in the Healthcare industry and I've had great feedback on Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, Tom Ford Noire Extrême, CH Men's Privé, Chanel Allure Sport Eau Extrême and lastly e few older ones....Tiffany for Men, Gucci Nobile, Pasha de Cartier and Kiton for Men.
This channel is growing RAPIDLY!! Well deserved. Im a local, delivery, truck driver. Would my signature scent fall under customer service? I wear so many different fragrances based off of the weather each day.
I am a Contractor/Project Manager and love fragrances. My go to fragrances vary depending on the season. However, I have found that Parfums de Marly makes fragrances for all occasions/seasons and are a great daily day wear. Evening, Clive Christian C for men or X Twist Tabac are my preferred. Thanks for the great video.
I would love to see different types of artists fragrances. As the lead singer of a band, I’ve been curious as to what others think musicians should smell like. But as a pianist, I like to wear something different entirely. Would love y’all’s take on it. Great video, as always!
Great video! Im a auto body technician and I wear ADP Quercia.
I’ve used cool water a quarter of a century and 19 of 20 years active duty military but have finally branched out a couple of years ago to a ~50 frag collection. retired life smells so much better!
This may very well be the single most important video on the history of fragcom . Finally someone that does not automatically asume that we all work in the office. Some of us are blue collard or work in the restaurant. We got mail men out in this world, factory workers, dealership workers, construction workers. Not everyone works a 9 to 5. As a matter of fact most of us don’t.
I live in NC and work in a furniture factory building furniture. The upholstered kind that you sit on in your house. I love to layer fragrances and one of my favorite combos is Club De Nuit Intense with Hugo Boss Bottled Intense. I go a little heavier with the Armaf than I do the Hugo Intense. I have gotten alot of unsolicited compliments with that combo.
I usually wear Boss Bottled when teaching, if I'm wearing anything. You've got to be careful not to distract the kids, scent being so subjective, so I go for something pleasant, sweet (gives it a more fun vibe than something serious like you picked), inoffensive, that doesn't project too much.
I love fragrances and these kinds of vids! How about for us healthcare workers? Doctors, nurses, therapists, etc.
this is very interesting, you have to make part 2. the next job is to do work in close contact with clients, such as barbers, dentists, nurses, etc.
You should keep doing these. Make like a part 2.
Good for you, Teddy, for locking that down.
As a tradesman, I've been looking for a recommendation like this for a long time...
I've been rocking Mugler's Angel Men in the winter for a decade. The flankers are good, but the original is where it's at; it's dark, a bit dirty, and delicious all at the same time.
I'm a professor of physics and I don't really have a signature but I like to wear classy citrus aromatics with a bit of a warm woody patchouli base.
ahhhh, I was going to ask them to do one for a science prof for next time, haha
Physics rules 💪💪💪
I'm feeling something like bowmakers for some reason...
I have Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa though.
My occupation is in the tech industry, Audio Visual commercial tech. Think Office collaboration systems. Another easy like comparison is IT Admin. Systems Integration Programmer. I work from home as a Programmer, but then often visit Office buildings, working on and presenting these systems to the users, often Executives and CEO’s of these companies. Current signature scents are; light application of Xerjoff Alexandria 2 for higher end business meetings, Roja Elysium or Xerjoff Torino 21 for less formal or work from home scenarios.
As a uni student, I wear ysl y edp as my signature scent, and have been told by several people it's the best smelling scent they've encountered. It's mass appealing and youthful, and has good performance, but it probably helps that they're also young and are less likely to have smelt a tonne of fragrances.
I would like to see more women's fragrances in this video format. Most all of these were men's.
There are no such things as male and female fragrances. That's all marketing hype. If you stick to fragrances that you think only women or only men should wear you are depriving yourself of a large library of wonderful notes.
Power grid operator here. I wear Prada Black to the control room usually. Its not too strong and I like the pepper/fresh scent.
Courtney and Teddy!
Can you guys make a video on your favorite or best choices for wedding day fragrances for men? I’m getting married later this year and would love your thoughts on the best scents.
Also, I will be getting married in the fall and maybe some seasonal wedding fragrance recommendations would be nice!
Roja Elysium
MAB Ganymede
Creed Aventus
Amouge Reflection
You need something classy, fresh but easy to other people.. you going to be dancing with many women, hug people etc.
I'm a graphic designer & photographer and I wear a bunch of fragrances; Armani Code Absolu, Valentino Uomo Intense, Dior Homme, Guerlain Vetiver, Azzaro Most Wanted, Cartier Declaration, Givenchy Gentlemen, Terre de Hermés, Zadig,&Voltaire This is Him - the list goes on... I've worn most of them to the office with no issues with my colleagues.
Very creative! Love it!
This is fun. Can you do another version of this but this time a fusion between the fragrance and the watch channel. For each recommended fragrance what watch would best fit the scent and the occupation as well. It could also be the other way around where you select first the watch, then the fragrance that would best match it.
Great video, waiting for part 2. I’m an orthopedic surgeon BTW
Was hoping to see “Tradesman” in the lineup (plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc.)
Same as auto mechanic.
@@garypierce7380 gary, can you explain to me why an electrician would be interested in smelling like gasoline,or burnt oil? Makes no sense bud.
@@JSn00py An electrician carries a little purse, wears clean clothes, has a two hour safety meeting and a donut rotation schedule.
Probably anything a receptionist wears would do for them.
I was talking about a tradesman who gets dirty. I think they just thought that one smelled manly.
Have to appreciate the time stamps with description 🙏
I really like the concept of this video, a part 2 would be great.
Another idea would be iconic movie characters; James Bond, The Terminator, the Oceans 11 crew...etc.
I agree. I'd like to see a part two as well. That's a good idea too. I'd like to see that. :)
Teddy rocking the Zenith Chronomaster, good man.
So Im an arborist on the island of Kauai. I'm constantly surrounded by trees in a tropical environment so I was wondering what you think would be a good cologne to match that my favorite cologne to wear here is hacivat by nishane. Anything in that realm is definitely my vibe
Bvlgari Black would be a great choice for a mechanic with that rubber note and packaging.
Work as a hotel assistant manager and I usually wear either Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum or Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum.
Let’s see part two, fun idea… A Pilots life for me, signature scent isn’t my style but I wear barbershop scents a lot for both performance/longevity and the most safe clean smell that wouldn’t offend people!!
Which ones are you favorites? Thanks
@@snortchgortch4253 T.F. - Fougere D’Argent
Happyland Studios - Barbershop
T.f. - Beau de Jour
Davidoff- Zino
Mechanic I would choose PDM kalan there is something in it that just reminds me of all the shop fluids
I am a cardiac icu nurse and don’t really have a signature scent out of my 50 fragrance collection. I would love to hear what you guys think would be a good one.
I am a Retail Manager :) I wear everything. One day a year I wear my Miss Dior Cheri 2005 version. On my bday. I get compliments the entire day from everyone. It astounds me they changed the formula. I see 1300 people a week. One day a year I get constant compliments. Even my Aventus cannot compete. The only one that comes close is my Lancome. In the summer Sailing day is also nice. So as a retail manager I wear everything from Aventus to Rhianna.
I totally got called out on Courtney's off-hand Graphic Designer comment - savage! :)
This was a very good video idea. It would be nice to see some more occupations and what fragrance would suit them. Maybe an Engineer?
I do restoration sales! What do you think sales people would wear?
I'd like to see a factory worker on the list in the next video. Club De Nuit Intense Man is the fragrance I wear to work the most. I've gotten compliments by three different women while wearing it.
I am a casino dealer, would love to hear what I should wear. Also most casino dealers wear watches (no clocks on the casino floor). Would love to hear your watch pick if you do another ones of these on that channel.
Software dev here! Honestly when I was in the office, I just wore what I wanted. But maybe individuel or original santal to make people think that i had showered :D :D
Actually cahsee would be a safe bet too.
As a teacher, I’m going to outright dispute the acqua. Depending on the grade you teach you’re pretty non stop, working around 7 hours without a second to breathe and you need something with the performance to last that long. For a teacher you should really have focused on EDP or stronger concentrations. Anything with a really solid dry down. But nice to see an increased vocabulary from Courtney here, past few videos I’ve been frustrated by the repeated use of the word “pretty” and this is a good video accented by that. Keep up the good work guys.
What kind scent would someone like Deuce Bigalow wear? And Patrick Bateman who is in Merger and Acquisition wear?
Would love for a part II; thoughts on photographers?
I bartend and le labo santal and bergamot are my 2 favorites
I'm curious to know what you would recommend to someone who's an engineer (say electrical, not civil). While you would think of engineering as a serious profession because of the higher salaries and levels of studies required people usually dress very very casually and badly to the office (I'm talking some people going t-shirt, baseball cap, jeans but even sweatpants and crocs). I'm talking looking out of place wearing a shirt tucked in, so anyone wearing a suit to work there, unless a really high up (talking VP) or because of a very special formal event, would immediately stand out like a sore thumb. So I usually rock Bleu de Chanel EDP or Parfum or something like Prada L'Homme but I'm curious what people would recommend.
I would love to see a version with some feminine picks too!
I drive a garbage truck, what scent do u recommend for me?
Can you do a video on the best affordable colognes for caribbean climate
Clive Christian X is unbelievably good. One of my all-time favorites in my collection.
I love these types of videos 🤞🤝🍻
I’m searching for my signature fragnance that would describe me and I know that I need some green fruity notes some citrus kind like fresh sweet fragnance what it can be? I’d be grateful for help😊
There are a lot of scents you describe that I have no idea how they actually smell. Where can I go to become familiar with these scents?; vetiver, bergamot, oakmoss, labdanum, benzoin, amerette....
What are the "better" fragrances from creed you guys mentioned?
can you do one for women? I am a sales assistant in a jewelry store, can you suggest a fragrance? (I hate vanilla or almond notes)
Hi guys! I'm working as a Paramedic in the hot country of Singapore. Any specific fragrances that you'd recommend for me to stand out from the rest?
Thanks for the great video, really hoping for a part 2 😁I'm a Data Engineer (IT) and I wear Bleu de Chanel and Prada l'Homme (kinda safe/boring). Any signature scent ideas/recommendations for someone working in an IT department?
We can do a part ii if people enjoy this one 👍🏻
I am a lead developer. I usually use guerlain l’homme ideal EDP or light spray of armani stronger with you absolutely. I figure if I wear something that makes me happy I will seem more happy to other people, which will make it easier for them to trust me.
Voyage d'Hermes EDT
BdC is safe, but far from boring. Very intriguing. Reminds me of the color, indigo.
AHSEE (yep, long name haha)
I really enjoyed this video. Would like to see one for a doctor.
As an MD, I use:
Escentric Molecule 01(almost nonexistent)
Soapy:
Prada Amber Pour Homme
Mugler Cologne
Dolce Gabbana Pour Homme
Citrusy:
Creed Aventus Cologne
Versace Pour Homme
Creed Himalaya, &Molton Brown fiery pink pepper
I like this channel and the idea but it seams like the focus is more on either unisex or masculine fragrances. I would love to see more feminine fragrance in your videos.
I'm an executive assistant for a large insurance company. I was wearing Clinique Happy regularly but had to stop. Apparently I'm allergic to musk.
Need one for military!
Can you try Dunhill Century in the next blind test? It’s a fresh summer perfume ….you may like it
I'm a retail manager whos always around employees and customers so I hit them hard with Sauvage, Aventus, Blue de channel
I would love to see a fragrance what that would suit an economist in his mid 20s!
What about a job interview fragrance? Or even for when asking for a promotion/raise
As a teacher, my personal recommendation is something of a stronger concentration since you need the performance. I use Polo Deep Blue, easily go from leaving the house at around 700 to getting home around 17-1800 and can still smell it on the skin.
Is there no recommended scent for women who work as lawyers?
How about a fragance for a psychotherapist? Daily interaction with many patients, you need something that endures all day and share security. If the day is cold, I use CK One Shock, but is always nice to hear other opinions.
Yes
Construcción
Remodel
Tile set
Mud/ drywall
What about when asking for a promotion? What fragrance would exudes confidence for a female in a meeting about a promotion?
I’d love to hear what you guys would pick for a barista. I’m a total fragrance enthusiast and get in trouble every once in a while because my cologne clashes with the aroma of coffee beans.
mancera has some good coffee fragrances that will be perfect if you want to choke out the entire building with a single spray 😂
Which fragrance would an engineer use?
i would like to hear what these guys like in terms of creeds all you really do hear is Aventis and green Irish
As a MD my personal scent is the bartender lol!! Is my wife and myself personal scent and we love it !!! Santal 33 for ever!!!!
What scent would a gamer or someone that goes to anime/comic conventions wear? (lol I know they don't wear deodorant, but what fragrance should they start wearing)
brilliant idea
*Courtney:* 👁 👁
👄
*Teddy:* 🙂
I love both of you and your content🥳🥳
Anything for a doctor?
This was a fun video and a unique idea.
Feel like every frgrance video is "Top 10 beast mode fragrances that drive girls crazy "
I feel like the original Fahrenheit makes 50% of the girls say wow amazing, and half want to vomit....nothing in the middle. How is the Eau de Farfum too different?
What about us nurses and EMS first responders
Hey teddy. Some other pairings could be musician and jazz club (self explanatory) or for the bartender it could be curaçao bay (the juice in the bottle even looks like blue curaçao you can’t get any more fitting).
Those are two very good suggestions. Needed to give jazz club a break since we have featured it a lot already haha.
Agreed, if you do jazz musician, pick something less obvious. I'm a jazz musician, and in stage I wear noir de noir, br540, naxos/havane, oud satin mood, that kind of stuff!
@@lambmaster well if you’re a fan of rose and oud noir de noir and mfk ouds are still kind of obvious. Maybe amouage lyric man or heely’s agarwoud
@@Devppp not as obvious as a jazz musician wearing jazz club
How about a video explaining careers where fragrance would be bad ettiquitte. This would be good as I would assume a lot of fragrance beginners find this chann. For example in a fine dining restaraunt you may not want extraneous smells that interfere with food, or if your working wine tasting. Its also bad ettiquitte to have a strong fragrance in an orchestra pit; it gets suffocating.
Hi, what's your recommendation for a signature scent for someone who works in sport?
I did sports science in college and thought allure homme sport eau extreme was a good fit
Could you please explain what is the situation with oakmoss?
Environmental conservation...
I’m a public accountant, not on an exec-senior position. Usually wearing Green Irish Tweed, Santal 33 and Cartier L’envol at the office.
If my partner on the team smelled like Polo Green I’d believe he has been missing out, specially since he/she would be able to afford an actual niche fragrance which usually show up not only as unique but also wealthy and indirectly “confident”
For pilot maybe?
LOL I have CK one and I LOVE i, but Im a bartender and teacher, which I guess has some similarities with customer service. You dont want to overwhelm the people with your fragrance..
