Great presentation. Careful with the math at 0:55: 21 cubic meters correspond to a cube whose sides are roughly 2.76 meters long. You mean 21 meters on each side of a cubic crate, which gives a volume of 9261 cubic meters.

No he means 21 cubic meters. This is a rare metal, therefore, it isn’t difficult to imagine 2.76 * 2.76 * 2.76 meters. Consider this, Platinum is even rarer than Gold. Anyway, it is an approximation only.

@@JamesAlexander14 I know it's rare, and at the same time that surely neither of us could have an intuitive idea of how rare it is. But according to standard sources it's not that rare. Did you look up any sources yourself? I submit the Wikipedia of gold as one source en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold : "As of 2020, a total of around 201,296 tonnes of gold exist above ground.[12] This is equal to a cube, with each side measuring roughly 21.7 meters (71 ft)."
By the way, the idea of all the gold in world gold above ground visualized as a cube was popularized for many (including me) by by Warren Buffett: ruclips.net/video/XcIR4iQRvP8/видео.html . Incidentally, his estimate of 67ft for the length of the cube has been upgraded to 71ft, making gold less rare.

21 cubic metres is wrong. A cube with sides of 21 metres is correct.
