It will block up again the rectangular plastic cartridge has a micro strainer inside ,you will eventually need too Dismantle and replace plastic housing and bottom strainer ,or backflush micro strainer with carb cleaner and clean fuel using air gun too reverse flow with air to unblock the top micro strainer, you may as well put that new pump in whilst your there ,use rubber grease on orings too ensure they don't get damaged on reinstall ,inspect block oring that goes inside micro strainer housing, I'd presume that there is new 1 in kit ,you will see all the crap come out when back flushed it settles every time you turn bike off .make sure all rubber orings and FPR is removed if using carb clean inside micro strainer and rinse with clean petrol repeat this a few times at least .
