My 3 year old son and I watch your videos every night to calm down before bed. He asks to watch "the farmer."😂 You have inspired a whole new generation of gardeners. Thank you for posting your work❤

I keep gardening videos playing all day while I'm at work for my dog! I walked into the room after work and thought, wow, that dude's property looks just like Jess's, thats so strange....then I figured it out after watching for a bit. 😅

Very relaxing! I love long videos. Thank you for all this effort in bringing us along with you. Have you or Taylor heard of the book Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake. If you haven’t, it’s a must read for “mushy” lovers or for anyone who loves life. Short read too. Thanks again for sharing a part of your life/family ❤ Congrats to you and Taylor btw to the new addition coming soon!

I dehydrate my okra and add it to soups and stews for thickening. The okra will dissolve away like dehydrated tomatoes in such a way. I love dehydrating about everything. ❤

I love okra....have pan fried it, no flour or cornmeal, just cut or chopped okra? I also cook okra & tomatoes together, or with pasta, I make okra patties, similar to squash patties. I love okra in gumbo, peas, etc. Bake them, cut in half, length wise, stuff with ground sausage & cheese...or whatever stuffing you like. 😊😊

I noticed when you were pressure canning the venison broth that you had a huge amount of water in the canner. If this is new to you guys you only need about 2-3 inches in the pressure canner but about 1.5 inches over the bottles when you are water bath canning. Hope telling you this doesn't offend you guys! Just finished watching and I thoroughly enjoyed this one also. Thank you for sharing your lives with us! Take care and stay safe!!! Congratulations on the baby!

Maybe in like 5 years, I’ve barely harvested fruit off my first fruit trees I planted lol. The mastery curve is a long one when it comes to perennial farming.

I watched this until the very end and loved every minute of it. I had to take it a little at a time but finished it tonight. You’ve really inspired me to do mushrooms logs. I have an area I think will be perfect. If you have any recommendations for resources/supplies (I’m in Ohio) I’d greatly appreciate it. Congratulations on a great year and the great gift of Otto this Spring!
