I use make the same mistake. The artichoke you showed is not a Jerusalem artichoke. Jerusalem artichoke's are tall skinny, sunflower looking flowers that you dig up and eat the tubber like a potato. The one you showed is probably an Imperial Star or Green Globe. I want to try to grow some Jerusalem artichoke or find some in the store to try. Thank you for the video.
It's my favorite video you have made so far. Heartfelt and very informative. Also, I love all of your sky shots and sunsets. Love the music choices, too. Beautiful life yall have made together. God bless you both.
Be a Bloomer Not a Doomer I like it! 👍 And Thanks again for all the plant ID's. I know that's a lot of editing work. I really enjoy putting the names to the plants you show us. For me, your efforts are worth it! Tell me again when is the baby due? (I've forgotten the exact time range.) Looks to be right around the corner tho! As always, this video is a very peaceful way to spend my morning wake up time. Much appreciated you sharing your world. ❤
Would love some drone footage of Dr K’s property if he would be agreeable! Also waiting for the seed collection interview!! I enjoy your interactions with Dr K so much; it’s charming!!!!
I'm impressed how close your drone could get to the deer before they ran off! That was really cute! Also, oh man, that red honeysuckle in your grandma's garden is BEAUTIFUL! I've never seen one that vibrant before. Amazing video as always ❤ I really love how you work with sound in your videos, both the music and the audio from the clips themselves, you blend everything together so well!
Well done! Dr. Kibler is certainly a wealth of knowledge and has a lot of unique plants....or so it would seem. Things are sure looking good. That climbing orange/peach rose will be nice once it gets ahold of that trellis. Good job on the video!
The Iris are incredible! Growing up we used to live in the city and when my mammaw came to visit she'd go in our backyard and still find things to eat - lambs quarters was her usual go to. She would also gather dandelion blossoms - soak them in salt water and lay them on a towel and pat them dry. Then she'd dip them in egg then flour and fry them. I thought the tasted like fried mushrooms! One of the best memories I have of her.
Awesome tip about the dandelion flowers, I will try that. Sounds like she was a special lady, I would've loved to have spent time with her in the garden & kitchen
What a lovely way to start my day🥰 Thank you for continuing to inspire us by showing such a beautiful and intentional way that you live your life with the earth and all its inhabitants. ❤❤❤
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens I was wondering about that. Dremmel has a special bit for really hard metals like that but it’s not cheap. I think you had an engraver in your hand, though. SS is so tough to work with.
Lambs quarters, a great edible plant - pfaf.org/user/plant.aspx?LatinName=Chenopodium+album And I think dr Kiblers comment on glycerol was referring to soapberry plants

Shoot! Thanks, I grow both - didn’t realize that at all
Loving watching your channel slowly grow, peacefully like your vlogs. Best wishes to you and to Taylor xx
Beautiful video to watch right before bed. The drone footage is breathtaking. Love to you and Taylor and the new season arriving. 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Glad you enjoy!
Awe, Baby is growing! Love how much you help the people around you. Might I add, the birds chirping as background is soothing. I love it ❤
This is so cool
Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you

It took them a minute to realize what was going on. Glad you enjoy though!

Thank you and yes, lots of knowledge, glad we were able to save a bunch of his seeds!

I really enjoyed this video...great plant identifier..also enjoyed the drone views - your swales are really coming alomg! thank you!
It’s all growing great!
It blows my mind that there is trillium all the way down there. I’ve only seen that in the mountains. What a wonderful place DR Kibler has.
Microclimates are powerful
@@HoneybeeHollowGardensyes they are. Is it growing under a type of evergreen?
@@Hobocreekfarm it’s a deep draw with a strong northern slope. Hardwoods on the eastern side & young pines all around
If that's the same artichoke Jess gave to Bri, its about the most photograhphed, well traveled artichoke around!
Probably, that was the first one
I didn't realize you guys were "expecting". Congratulations!
Yep, less than a month!
Beautiful video❤ anybody else see the faces in the clouds?
Thank you for another excellent video Will.
Thank you for watching!
That dog is livin' the life.
Pretty much the star of every episode
We tell her everyday lolz
It is so good to see green growth and flowers again. Calming video, my favorite.
Awesome! Thanks
I love how helpful you are to everyone. You are a blessing to everyone. ❤
I try my best!
That was such a beautiful informative, relaxing video. Thanks for showing us so many wonderful simple things that make our heart sing.
🙏
Beautiful
Shout out to you both will and Taylor Taylor you look so well and will you always work so hard I agree with Dr Kibler PBS
What a lovely way to start my day🥰 Thank you for continuing to inspire us by showing such a beautiful and intentional way that you live your life with the earth and all its inhabitants. ❤❤❤
Glad ya enjoy!
The only time lapse that is absolutely healing for the soul is your sunset ones. Such a blessing.
Beautiful footage and great video. Thank you!
I’m glad you enjoy , thank you
Video making goals! You guys are amazing thanks for all the effort of this
What I really love about you and your channel is how you have become one with the earth, I 🫶🏼it!! Keep on👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome video! Thanks Wil 👍💐
Always love your video style. But those permanent tree markers are just ingenious!!
They were tough to engrave & didn’t penetrate very deep (stainless steel) We’ll see how well they work over time
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens I was wondering about that. Dremmel has a special bit for really hard metals like that but it’s not cheap. I think you had an engraver in your hand, though. SS is so tough to work with.
I love the multi-colored roses. I've been watching videos on how to make them from frosting to decorate cakes. 😋
Hmmm interesting
Love color in your garden 🌱🌱
Me too, good to have it back
You and your wife inspire me … thank you
An absolute delight to watch while I spend my Saturday morning up potting peppers
A good activity for RUclips watching indeed
I've got a similar honeysuckle! Mine is red and gold, really beautiful
Not long to go😊🎉Love the simple life 💃🕺💃🕺💃
Dr. K sounds fascinating. Is he. Dr. Of horticulture?
No, English. He’s authored several books
❤
❤❤
Our May apple here in CT is just coming up! Looks like little umbrellas!
I want to try the fruit
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens Us too, but the critters get to them first I think. I always see them flower, though...
💚💚💚💚💚
Curious about your plan for the bamboo. Is it not invasive near you?
Nice video! I just enjoy them so much
Does that lambs quarters taste like spinach?
Similar, they’re my favorite cooked green to eat. Not as slimy as spinach
is the Lemon tree going to have prickers? and is it the type with the wonderful smelling leaves?
The leaves do have a nice smell. It will probably have thorns, I honestly can't remember for sure though. Most citrus has thorns
Loved this video. Questions What is lambs wool? How do you get glycerol?
Lambs quarters, a great edible plant - pfaf.org/user/plant.aspx?LatinName=Chenopodium+album
And I think dr Kiblers comment on glycerol was referring to soapberry plants
Are the white flowers near the purple flowers "tall garden phlox"?
I believe you're referring to 'Sweet William' flowers. They come in all different colors
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens Thanks, that was my other thought, but I couldn't tell how tall they were.
What is that wrapped around your porch rails? When you were making tree markers
Christmas lights
One more thing. I make videos too and have been wanting a microphone but don’t know where to start. Could you recommend any? Thank you!
We have a lapel mic made by RODE but we mostly just use a camera mic. Also RODE
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens thank you so much
