Route 66 first point lets you take high ground (on top of gas station) once the cart turns the first major chokepoint (jumping from top of cart towards the sign). Very helpful for quickly preparing for the defender's second push they need to do to save the first point capture, or for a support like Ana top take back defensive highground after a hold.
They are time consuming, but pay off is huge and I use them almost every time for easy picks (Plat 1 skill level). Junkrat eichenwald jump out of Spawn and Dorado 1st point. Eichenwald is triple mine jump and Dorado is double mine jump
Just some spots you missed - You can roll as cassidy over the water In lijang tower-garden - On gibraltar you can on def walk up the rocks next to the spot you showed. (bit hard to explain) - On Shambali you can stand on some satellites - Also on Shambali you can stand with phara on the top of the gate/mountain on the end of first point/ start 2nd point. You can refuel there - On Bussan you can stand on the drums in the middle of the point - On Bussan-downtown you can stand in the middle on the highground above the platfrom with widow - On Junkertown you can stand all the way in the back next to the cliff where they can't see you (first point) If I can think of more I'll add them
I know a ton more, but one of my personal favorites is on King’s Row first point, above the choke on the attacker’s side. It’s like a platform that you can see on the left if you look from the top of the attackers spawn. You can teleport up there as Reaper then Death Blossom down, use mines to get there as Junkrat then RIP-tire, or teleport up there as Symmetra and earth shatter them, as the attackers try to walk through the choke. Works every time.
Probably everyone knows this already, but on Watchpoint Gibraltar in the same area as your 2:51 entry, there's an outcropping of rocks along the right side (defenders' perspective) of that tunnel exit. You (as a DPS or support) can use the rocks that stick out as a staircase to get high ground onto that little overhang-good for if the enemy team has players in there waiting for an ambush, or if you suspect a Junkrat might've placed a trap near the small health pack inside the building. _(Been using that one since 2016 myself. It's become a lot harder to perform in Overwatch 2, though, but still doable at least half of the time.)_
The one I use almost all the time is on midtown first. You can stand on top of the train car if you go to the far left on defense, and the far right on offense. You stand on the side, then can make the jump up to the little light and you have a view of the enemies pushing into the car, and almost the entire point
A helpful one that I've seen is on defense side of the bridge on Watchpoint:Gibraltar first point, you can hug the rocks on the right side of the main choke area and climb them to get back on the bridge.
2 Junkertown Map techs: 1) Brigitte and Doomfist can use their Horizontal Movement ability on the huge Cog next to the huge door first point to go to the higher ground. Brigitte has to jump > immediate shieldbash at a slight angle to get to high ground while Doomfist has to do geometry and algebra with his Rocket Punch to get it. 2) One of the building roofs closest to the huge door in first area can be used to slide to flank from above as Brigitte, Doomfist, Tracer (maybe), Hammond (too much setup to achieve prob), Junkrat, Pharah, Soldier 76 (maybe), and Bastion
mL7 also has tons of spots and jumps for ana which work with basically all heroes except some tanks. From the top of my head I think of Gibraltar you can now get on top of the blue box and at the same location you can climb up the rocks to get from low to high ground
There's also another spots that you missed on Junkertown which grants you insane sightlines as widow, which also can be used for sneaky junkrat plays (I made a video about those spots)
On midtown 2nd, you actually don't need the railing. There is a small bar on the window thing that you can jump on if you hold forward into it, which lets you get to the spot. Used it as Ana in a ranked game to peek for a quick nade.
Ok... insane ball technique at antarctic peninsula where you grab the middle pillar at the point and spin around it at light speed... it knocks out all the enemy players while being unable to be shot at and if u lose health u just slingshot into one of the caves and heal
Three I recall on the top of my head is one on illios Ruins you didn’t show is next to the point, opposite side of the mega health pack, where that back way is you can actually go from that ground level to the upper sides by taking advantage of the obstacles. Second, a couple Zarya grenades I know are on Dorado. You showed one useful for the attackers to use but nearest the side for defenders, just passed that arch. If you are looking at that arch choke coming from defend spawn of you look upper left near that door threshold and small stairs you can see a little opening to the high ground. You can actually grenade jump with Zarya there from the top of those small stairs and go around to the high ground. It’s MUCH faster than having to take the stairs to the right. Another Zarya jump is on Lijang tower. This one is INSANELY useful. On Control Center, next to the point is a ledge you typically can’t jump up to. But you can grenade jump as Zarya to get to the mega health pack for those heals. Lastly, if I recall correctly, I believe on Hollywood first point there is a that building that as soon as you go in has a small health pack and staircase to its high ground over looking the point. If you stand on the side of the building where the gate is that the payload goes through there is a bit of obstacles you can jump on to get to the high ground in that building without using its stair case. To be clear, it’s the building with small health pack, not the building that has the high ground facing the choke. Opposite of that building.
One that i really like to use as phara is on route 66 attacking. Right side door drop off the cliff and hug the cliff edge all the way around to the billboard boost up to flank defending team.
My favorite one that you missed is that if you win a fight defending 3rd point kings row, then soldier can rocket jump from the cart to the super high ground(s). Good video!
On Paraiso, as defenders especially, theres an insane widow spot 1st point. the mega on coast (from the perspective of attackers it is behind bridge, behind and to the right of point). widow can grapple up to the white building next to it. youre effectively in the skybox with insane cover, and an insane sightline. almost impossible to kill, the only way youd have to drop is to reposition
My favourite Widow spot is on Watchpoint Gibraltar. Right outside of the attacker spawn, there’s the bright between the payload and what is usually the defender high ground. On the cliff side of the bridge, on top of the tower, you can grapple and easily balance yourself on either side of some collision object. From there, you can get a great vantage of the defender high ground, as well as through a fair bit of the tunnel, and I think even all the way to the defender high ground all the way on the far side of the map near the end of the first push.
If you’re on first point realto and on the high ground, you can stand in front of the wall and jump to the height above the arch and dance around that pillar. Ml7 uses that one a lot
On circuit royal on the second point as attacker playing moira, you can get from the floor up to high ground with a super jump off of the wall or cart.
5:58 i tried for a hole hour to get stuck in this stall place where ive been with plenty of heroes before i cant do it have they fixed it, anyone confirm today?
On Dorado as widow maker you can go straight out the right side of spawn towards the far back and then follow the wall around left, you can grappling hook on to the top of the wall and get a clear view of the first payload waypoint
One spot on Oasis Gardens, from the part above the point you can use zarya secondary fire or bastion grenade to boop yourself up into the little window area for high ground. Really great spot to set up a bastion when defending the point
There's a vortex ball spot on Shambali next to the second spot. Come out of the left hand side and then hook up onto the high ground where defenders would be
on route 66 second point the building in the center from attacker side, you can walk up the outside stairs then walk back on a tiny ledge on the edge of the building to get to highground
Maybe the big jump in Circuit Royal from defender's second spawn to attackers second spawn? not sure how useful it is, especially since only a few heroes can use it but it exists!
There’s a spot on Kanezaka that I’m not sure people know about. Found it while wallriding around. On the cliff near the large healthpack under the highway, if you jump around to the other side of the wall on the stairs to the high ground room, there’s a ledge you can stand on. Idk if anyone even goes over there, but it might be useful for running away from someone.
I actually have videos on most of the useful bastion grenade+double grenade jumps from back in the beta, I’m still working on the new maps so look out for them soon. Good video btw ❤
Damn, I’m a Lucio 1 trick with almost 300 hours on him, Nepal is one of my favorite series of maps, and I didn’t know like any of those spots. Definitely gonna use the boop camp one lol
In Nepal sanctuary thing when your in the middle bit on one side and there is a middle balcony with a health pack u can jump off as a climbing hero and climb back up to the pillar and jump onto the balcony’s by spawn I got this from arrge
I know there is a spot on junkertown where you can get on top of entrance to junkertown to see attacker spawn doors I didn't find it a pro did but it is insane if it's still in the game
On Junker Town, at the start of the map on the defenders side, There's a small wall that leads to the balcony above the garage (On the left side facing the Spawn where the 200 Health pack is). You can jump from the back area (Where the defenders usually set up for high ground) onto the wall protruding out and onto the canopy, break the railings, and access the balcony above the garage-- Eliminating the need to walk around the back side of it.
You missed one in the gamemode with capture point the map with the big hole in the point there is this big tall building you can go up to the building and have a good high ground
2spots near 1st point eichenwalde u can get stuck, one shows first point and the other shows the otherside of the wall, above highground thay defensive can get to by going to the right, the second one is easier to get to but, i use these kinds of spot in doom still for element of surprise
Jokes on u, I play play characters with movement abilities. Super cool video though, I never knew how to get to these spots when I played other characters!
On Route 66 when the payload is in front of the gas station on the first point you can jump off the top of it and onto the roof, I'm pretty sure all heroes can make it and you can still push from up there
You can also stand on the little ledges on Nepal sanctum on the wall opposite side of the pillars. It’s where brig is looking basically in the video. I like to go there if I’m getting pressured as a hiding spot or an escape route, and if I end up getting pushed, I can jump off the map to stop them from getting alt charge. Kind of a small spot with limited use cases but I like it!
There's a broken widow spot on Paraiso. On first point, you can grapple up onto the blue wall that separates the point from the street. Aim your grapple on the grey line, lining up your crosshair between the X shapes along the wall. The game will just place you up onto the wall. It doesn't matter where you stand before you grapple, as long as you can see the grey line. I would post a link to a twitter video, but it seems my comment gets deleted when I do. Some help, Nate?
This is why I'm glad I main Baptiste lol, I just boost my ass up on these spots 🤣🤣, but still good to know about these spots so you can get better positioning.
@@BlizzardGuides thanks for the reply! I was just wondering because it would be cool to see you play in a content creator tourney or on one of svbs podcasts
On the Lijiang Tower garden map you can actually pin all the way to point from spawn as rein if you look it up on RUclips you should be able to find it, you stand next to the spawn door and pin while turning next to the rock. I’m impressed played this game since ow1 beta and still learned quite a few spots you should make more of these
A helpful one that I've seen is on defense side of the bridge on Watchpoint:Gibraltar first point, you can hug the rocks on the right side of the main choke area and climb them to get back on the bridge.

There's also another spots that you missed on Junkertown which grants you insane sightlines as widow, which also can be used for sneaky junkrat plays (I made a video about those spots)
At 5:20 you can also do it with sigma with the attraction of the orbs of his basic attack and a jump timed right.
Him calling the Siege Tank a robot hurt my soul.
9:00 You can also do this one by shield bashing into the rock (even if the cactus is gone) and still get up
On midtown 2nd, you actually don't need the railing. There is a small bar on the window thing that you can jump on if you hold forward into it, which lets you get to the spot. Used it as Ana in a ranked game to peek for a quick nade.

0:50 "You can get on to this r o b o t"

One that i really like to use as phara is on route 66 attacking. Right side door drop off the cliff and hug the cliff edge all the way around to the billboard boost up to flank defending team.

Unfortunately, that was removed. You could stand on some spotlights to see attacker spawn, but it got patched in the midseason patch of season one
Gibraltar first:
can climb up rocks adjacent to mini room defender side to repeak high ground top right
the junkrat triple mine jump on eichenwald first point, to end up behind the enemies and ult from there
On Junker Town, at the start of the map on the defenders side, There's a small wall that leads to the balcony above the garage (On the left side facing the Spawn where the 200 Health pack is). Hopefully that made sense.

On lijang tower (the one with the capture point next to the large droppoff) you can literally grapple to the point as Hammond
