- Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye has gone through an extensive refurbishment in the first quarter of this year! The refurbishment brought new effects and even a new scene to the attraction!

I’ve been going to for 25 years since I was about 3 years old since 1998 and when I was 4 I rode Indy for the first time and I used to be so scared of the ride . But now that I’m older I love the ride . The refurbishment looks so awesome I’m so excited to ride Indy this summer
MUCH SO FUN DISNEYLAND PARK
everyone here, You’ve missed a lot of things that were changed. First, the projections for the 3 doors now look more define. 2nd, Mara in the hall of promise has completely new projection effects and likely a new projector. 3rd, new Lightning effect behind the gates of doom that replaced a curtain. 4th, bug room projection is enhanced so it looks more clear + second bug room projection is switched off or removed. 5th snake dummy replaced with the animatronic snake (the snake you mentioned on the before is actually not the same snake on the after footage. The before snake was just a dummy head and not an animatronic. They put it there if they have to take out and repair the animatronic). 6th, ghost of Mara looks slightly different. 7th, completely new projections in the dark room as replacement for the rat log. 8th the boulder chamber is completely restored to look like when it opened in 1995. And that’s about all the big things that’s changed about the ride in the refurb
I do hear the spike room activate on some of these videos. I was on this ride... opening month. Rock rubble falling and everything. Best ride ever!
SO happy that this ride got a new update!

The timing for many of the effects is still out of synch. Idk why they can’t seem to fix those issues!
snake is the only new thing. lame.
they updaded the lighting. added that hole segment at the middle end before the boulder. FIXED THE SNAKE AND BOULDER TO BEGIN WITH
Is it? It looked to be so fake and cartoonish. Indiana had real snakes they should have left it out altogether it looked so bad.
Goodness you guys are failing to see the newly updated mapping projections in the hall for future and riches. They redid the animations. New vortex behind the gates of doom. New orbs that chase jeep that causes it to stall, and New hall way that falls apart because of the orbs. Newly updated lighting in the Boulder chamber and fixed up indy animatronic in there and where he is next to the broken boulder...
