This track probably has my favorite melody out of any Mario Galaxy track, and that includes Gusty Garden Galaxy! I personally think this track doesn’t get enough love for how heroic and wonderfully melodic it is, as it gets overshadowed by this game’s other legendary songs like Gusty Garden Galaxy and Good Egg Galaxy. It’s still a GROOVIN' piece.
I was super inspired by a piece called “Red Sea” by the Yellowjackets, which I heard a saxophone ensemble perform sometime last spring! I really enjoyed the sound of a deep unison between bari sax, bass, and piano, and really wanted to create that Inception-esque BWAAAAH with all those instruments combined in the low register. Red Sea inspired me to add a nice backbeat to this song, adding to the original groovy elements of the song. I really wanted to keep the core musical elements of this song intact, such as the strong melody, and the iconic arpeggio that plays at the beginning. Hope all of you who enjoyed my Gusty Garden Galaxy cover enjoy this one too! Let me know if you’d like to hear some mother Mario Galaxy, I aim to serve!

It's called an EWI, which stands for Electronic Wind Instrument. It's like a MIDI controller, but uses your breath instead of piano keys :)

I felt the exact same feeling from this as I did from when I was young playing Mario Galaxy for the first time, and the electric sax almost gave me Mystery Dungeon vibes and when you attack me on my two favorite games, I’m getting nostalgia bombs left and right.

This song has been stuck in my head for two months straight. I listen to it so often that it shows up in my Home page every day.
Currently I have a university project due in 13 minutes, I've been trying to figure out why this code I wrote didn't work, and I've been working on this for about 3 days.
As I ran the code, it was 4:17 in the video and the code worked. It was such perfect timing that I spent 2 minutes of my now 11 minutes before the deadline typing this
